Planning a trip to DR in a couple of weeks. My plan is to spend 3 days in santo domingo before going to sosua for another 4 days.

I will probably get to santo domingo on a Sunday then go to sosua on Wednesday.

I would like to know good hanging out spots in santo domingo from Sunday through Wednesday. My plan is to go to GBP maybe for 2 to 3 hours from maybe 6 pm to 8 pm. Then use tinder and maybe a couple of contacts for day or evening fun. I would like at least to know the good hanging out spot with open minded girls.

Best place to get an actual professional massage is at one of the hotels like the Zui Spa at Jaragua. The other stand alone is the Thai Massage at the Weston and that's hit and miss depending on who is the masseuse.

So far in reading back, I only see names but no one has posted personal experiences or locations of these places except to say they are in ZC. Some include Oasis, Foxys etc. Many comments about GBP being sordid and downright dirty with sketchy talent but you seem to like it. Someone else mentioned hitting up the bartender too maybe the same one?

Do these chicas have their own rooms where you can go? Prefer to keep them out of my hotel room until I get the lay of the land. I never have issues with Thai girls in my room but read a few bad stories on here about inviting them back in DR and waking up with your plata gone.

Pretty much every venue you enter is going to look "sordid and downright dirty" despite how clean they actually are. Oasis, Foxys, CAsa Teresa and others are easily found by typing their names in Google maps or uber. 7 out of 10 drivers will be happy to direct you to the many pop-up or houses. The locations really don't change for the pop up house. The days and times they are open do. It all depends on traffic or if the police need to make a statement for the press.

The down and dirty way save GBD and others houses is to rent a room at one of the cabanas and log onto Chiviricas or Skokka. There are a few more sites but it gets redundant after two. Both skokka and Chiviricas link to whatsapp and if the girl won't do a quick video to confirm her pics she's most likely catfishing the hell out of you. Catfishing is funny here. Some won't remotely be the woman in the picture, some will be pics from her teenage years and the others will actually look better than the pics. Don't get set on a complexion as they are mixed race and their base shades change drastically depending on the season or who took the picture save Haitians. Funny part is especially at the Cabanas in Oeste the Dominicans you WhatsApp will be on the stroll off 30 De Mayo freeway.

I am considering a first time visit to DR, specifically Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas in Sabana. Usually, this time of year during non Covid times you would find me in Thailand or somewhere else in SEA or Indonesia. However, due to Thailand's rather strict Covid protocol policies this winter, their closing of many entertainment venues, and what I have read about the overall malaise that appears to exist there, I decided it's time to expand my horizons.

Upon my arrival, I am looking at staying at a rather unique accommodation in the colonial center, however, it appears by the owners comments in their description that they only allow registered guests. Since I would only stay three or four nights, it's not a big deal but would still like to taste the fruits of Santo Domingo's finest nevertheless.

I was pleased to see reading back a few pages about several strip clubs and / or bars with chicas. They are called Foxy's, Odette, Oasis, and GBP to name a few, but could not find a lot of detail, except for GBP where apparently the quality and rooms are rather suspect. Due to Covid, I am not sure if these places are even open or if there are additional places I should add to this short list. Needless to say, I don't want to stray to far afield from the colonial centro and don't want to stumble into rip off places either if there are some that should be avoided. I did read on here that Calle El Conde is the area to go, however, on my Google map it says the area is permanently closed. Not sure what this is about or is there another similar area to visit?

The Conde is not shutdown. Try Casa Conde and get the junior suite. Good location and had great security with a nearby cafe / bar. Oasis club is legit but a little more pricey than streetwalkers. Good luck.

They are not really strip clubs. They are hoarhouses. You do not see locals in the ones in ZC which are located right next to each other on the malecon. Whenever I have been inside them they have been void of customers and seem to be just waiting for unsuspecting foreigners to wonder in and be charged 5000 pesos. No dancing or stripping or anything going on. Not sure of the fucking facilities. Nobody really reports fucking the chicks on premises. Most reports I have read the guy said he takes the chick to his hotel or airbnb for the hour.

GBP is the one that locals go to and costs 1500 pesos. It is not the Hilton. It is just a bar with chicks and they have rooms that you can take them in and fuck on pleather couches or whatever. If you look in Skokka I think there are tons more undercover casas that you can add on whatsapp and message. The ones you named actually have signs outside though.

I am in Brazil. Not going to Thailand until they cut those BS hoops out. That shit is ridiculous. They always try to do too much. Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, DR do not have all that BS and you do not see a rash of foreigners laying up in the hospitals because they brought covid with them. With my luck I will get positive on day 5 and be stuck in jail. My boy is going next week so I will just send 6 more months rent money with him.

I like Piantini area. They have nice restaurants. But battling that traffic in the daytime is not fun. When I am there it is usually at night taking a chick to dinner after the traffic has settled. The other guy never reported his experience there. Also, you may need a car there. I don't know if Ubers and taxis are just floating around as they are in ZC.

Very valid points Mr. E. I would hate sitting in traffic cooling my heels while my foreheads drips from tropical perspiration. I did not know about this Piantini area until recently and was considering it mainly because it seemed to offer nicer accommodations (AIR BnB) at a cheaper price. However, overall, it appears that Zona Colonial is the place to be especially for a first timer. I seem to read you are in Pattaya now but there is no way I am going to endure a 24 hour journey to Thailand and find myself testing positive with asymptomatic conditions and then get shuffled off to a hospital prison for ten days. The risk might be small but still not worth it.

Sorry about that. Yes. In my opinion you made a bad choice. When chicks find out you are staying there then they will want more money simply on the basis that you are staying in that area. Also, whenever you want to go somewhere you are going to have to deal with hella traffic. Maybe you had your place booked before you read that people from this site tend to stay closer to Zona Colonial or maybe you need to stay in Piantini for other reasons. Right now at midnight on Satudrday night google maps shows it is 16 minutes from Piantini to Zona Colonial. During the day it is subject to take from 40 minutes to 1 hour. Whenever I consider staying in that area I pinch myself and say fuck that. I always rent a car and have no desire to sit in that traffic whenever I want to go somewhere or head back to homebase.
