Visited the two mentioned gogo bars. Windmill and Pin-up. I must say both want you to do Antigen tests. Stupid me came back to my room and did the test at home to show them, but still Windmill wanted a new test done, so I did one more there.

They look sad that you came negative. I mean it. I can face read more than anyone. They must be getting commission if someone comes positive and is hospitalized for 60 k to 120 k baht.

Windmill had few girls, their top floor is a bit better but you get to go there only after you purchase a few lady drinks on the base floor. Some topless some totally nude but not worth it I must say.

Pin-up had more girls than Windmill, they had pretty hot girls but most girls do not come to hotel with you, they are only suckers of ladydrinks. You can ask before purchasing a lady drink. I actually am not a fan of this LD. I know it is a passion and feels good in the west to go to a bar and buy a drink for a genuine lady that is not a prostitute and then talk with that genuine lady and see if things go the right way. In the west it is considered good to visit the coffee shop daily and bars at least once a week to indulge, socialize etc.

But this is not West, this place was run halfly by Indians who like the girls dancing on the stage or in the bed, nothing else. There is a reason you see so many Indian restaurants here. Indians directly choose the girls. I always directly approach the girls if they want to go to hotel. If they say yes, I barfine and take them to hotel. If they say no, and if I still like the girl, then I have to purchase a lady drink to spend some time with her and feel her assets, as I cannot get her to hotel anyways.

All in all, It is a must go once at least, but I prefer getting girls from the normal street bars / massage places and TF.

Let me know what were the prices the girls used to ask pre-covid? Now they settle for 1 k to 1. 5 k baht.

I say all you have to do is pay them for sex. Others believe you must buy drinks for them before they will allow you to pay them for sex.

Many people use this hobby as entertainment not just sex. It is a way to be entertained for an entire night rather than just having sex for an hour. Hence buying a few drinks or doing some stupid shit during the night is all part of the distraction from normal daily life.

You have your way and that is fine but there are a 100 different ways to participate in this hobby. You may not agree with all approaches but that does not mean you way is right and what everyone else is doing is wrong. If someone is going out and enjoying themselves, then they have had a successful night.

I used to read and enjoy your posts a couple of years ago. They were thoughtful, intelligently written and provided good information. Interestingly Sam had been working on a girl from this bar for a while, buying her ladydrinks, and when he asked about meeting her on her day off, she agreed. But next day she sent him a Line message saying she couldn't meet as her Dad died. Before deleting it hastily. She was in the bar and didn't look like she was grieving, she was stood at the door, smiling and flirting with men as they walked past. My last day in Pattaya would prove to be a frustrating one with one of my worst experiences at a bar in SE Asia.

But first I met Sam for breakfast at a place he recommended on soi 13 called The Sportsman. I had a decent full English and two cups of tea for 170 baht.

We had a nice leisurely walk along the beach, past 'the oldest bar in Pattaya', Tahitian Queen, and had a cold beer in a nice relaxed beer-bar complex overlooking the beach. Sam then walked me around Central mall which struck me as a good place to take a girl. There is a cinema on the top floor, a bowling alley, arcade, lots of places to eat and of course plenty of shops. On second thoughts, maybe it isn't a good place to take a girl.

I had a number of things I needed to do during the afternoon and met Sam at 6. 30 pm outside Subway. We agreed to start our bar crawl on soi Pothole. I passed a lovely looking girl at a massage-with-extras place before we settled on a bar called Korn Beer Bar. Sam chose the place because he recognised a pretty girl he'd seen at Olny LK Bar the night before. He bought her a drink but when he asked about the bar-fine she told him 'I not boom-boom'...

The only thing that will Help the nightlife and bars is the Asians coming back en masse.

I am not fighting with anybody. I am saying it is spreading a false narrative to say a person has to buy lady drinks in order to buy a hooker.
