Did the cops harass you? Did they try to bribe you?

I keep my money and passport in a undergarment pouch. Do you advice I take that out too or is it OK to leave that where it is.

I've been stopped on foot by the cops so many times in Tijuana over the years I've lost count. Never tried to hide anything from them and have never had anything stolen. Once they realize I don't speak Spanish they usually send me on my way. Even if you do speak Spanish don't with them. Play the stupid tourist role. I've also noticed over the years that if you have a certain look to you your more likely to be fucked with. Unlike in the US where if you look at somebody the wrong way your deemed racist, in Tijuana they don't care. Profiling does go on in Tijuana so beware! Another good rule of thumb is not to be a dick when stopped or pulled over but don't be timid or show fear either. Moe.

Last night I was walking back across the pedestrian and cop was parked on the walkways to the top. The police officer stopped me. So as soon as he did I reached for my wallet & held my money in my hands. So if you are about tot be searched you should immediately take your money ot you wallet & hold it in your hands up against the wall etc. Also hold your cell phone as well.

Currently there is major construction done above the Valentina bar in the alley. And per Mexican Zona Norte safety rules, there is almost no safety zone blocked off underneath. So some dickhead working about 5 floors up can drop his hammer and fuck over some innocent bystander walking 5 floors below. I highly recommend guys to cross the street and not walk on the side of Bar Valentina while construction is going on, generally in the daytime.

A few weeks back you were sitting on the balcony with a bottle of Tequila Solarum with edible 24 K gold flakes. I tried one shot. It was smoother than cheap Tequilas but I cannot rationalize why it should cost 50 x more. So did you drink the whole bottle by yourself?

They all liked it. If I did not take the bottle, the meseros would quickly take it.

Don Julio 70 comes in a clear cubic bottle; 80 proof, but I's a lot smoother with a light fragrance, unlike the other Tequilas with strong bites and strong Anejo aromas. HK sells it for $150 in the club, but you can buy it at duty-free stores in San Ysidro for about $45, a very good deal. Bring it into your room in Cascada to party with the chicas. They all like this smooth Don Julio 70.

A noob took his friend to HK Saturday night, was told by shifty meseros, tables in the back were sold for $320 minimum, for which they get a bottle of Done Julio 70 plus 20 ficha beers for the chicas. Prices for the drinks worked out about right. But they should not have to buy a table. Buy a few beers and they can take whatever unoccupied table in the club. Meseros always bullshit and rip off noobs. Drink that bottle down and noobs sets himself wide open for serious DUI charges on the drive home.

Doesn't make sense to get trashed and plan to drive home. The rooms are so cheap in the Zona or Tijuana for that matter to crash. A whole lot cheaper than a DUI.

Why don't you write to AMLO and file a lawsuit with Mexico's Supreme Court to stop HK from selling more alcohol to obviously drunk guys?

Nobody will hold anyone accountable if some guys get drunk in the club and die in accidents.

These guys buy their own bottles and just cannot stop drinking nonstop. Who's going to stop them?

If the bars are held accountable by laws, perhaps HK can declare some guys too drunk to leave the club, have security guys forcibly take them to the hotel, take their wallets out and make them pay for the room.

I have written to HK management asking them to instructor waiters to not serve alcohol to clearly drunk guys. I said if you would not give a drink to your brother in that condition then do not sell that drink to this customer.

I guess there must not business / bar liability in Mexico for consequences from drunk driver actions. But I think serving drunk guys more alcohol is immoral.

IMHO, the gameplan for all of the bars in the zona norte including HK is to get the guys drunk as fast as possible so that they really fleece the fool out of his money with additional drinks.

I hang out within Tijuana are good, fun guys, educated, nice, caring, successful, generous. I really enjoy their companies.

More than a few are hard partiers and heavy drinkers. Once they start drinking and playing with bar girls, they don't want to stop and go home. They would party with friends and putas, drink hard liquors all night, stay until day break, 5 or 7 AM, then cross the border, start driving 2 or more hours to go home or to work. Their BAC would definitely be at least a few times above legal limits in Tijuana and US. One was falling down drunk on Tijuana street, had to be dragged to the car, but insisted on driving home.

They would try to drive home drunk, sleepy, deeply fatigued. Some put their cars on Self Driving Mode and fell asleep. SDM works only marginally, has been known to erroneously drive them to the Inland Empire, a hundred miles away from their homes, or potentially colliding with other vehicles. They have been lucky so far, not getting killed or maimed in accidents or busted by LE. At highway speeds, accidents usually cause fatalities or serious injuries, loss of limbs, even total disabilities or comas for drivers and passengers. A friend fell asleep at the wheel, crashed the car at about 60 MPH off a straight and wide open highway on flat land in the East Coast, had only head injuries, went into a coma for years. The consequences would be far worse in hilly California. Nothing is worth getting maimed or killed, especially for just a late night partying with the rotten putas..

I agree Solo better to get a room then to kill yourself or someone else. I have done blow (Cocaine) to allow me to drive home in what I though was a semi sober state LOL. I even blew past a Tijuana dui check point, the cops were busy harassing others to bother with me. I was extremely lucky. Anyways it is not worth it, $10,000 dll fine in the state and mandatory jail. In Tijuana it is impound of your car and mandatory Tijuana jail time with 50 of your favorite Mexicans and concrete beds if your lucky enough to get one. Fuck all that just get a room and sleep it off, $90 is nothing, very cheap considering the alternatives.
