If there is love, the guys are not going to be as tight with money, and the women are not going to ask for that much of it either. The Latin families are different. My ex's parents were perfectly comfortable sitting on their asses letting me pay for everything. After we broke up, they went out and got jobs. That is what KB is running into. It was easier for my ex to break up with me than say to her parents, "I feel like a ho, and you guys are behaving like my pimp." I was clueless at the time. I told her if you do not want to feel like a ho, then quit asking for money. It never occurred to me that she was not asking for money for her but for them.

My ex had a perfect body. She could have been on the cover of Self magazine. I had a hard time believing she was not with me for money, and she admitted she was at first but she says it was not like that later. How many guys here would think that was bullshit? The key for me was I believed her, and that was a boost to my confidence. If I got her, I could find another one who was as good if not better. IMO those two deserved each other. It was an interesting story arc, I must say.

The guy comes on here talking about all the money he has, how he doesn't speak the lingo, but how his money can do his talking for him. He picks up a HK girl that sounded pretty legit, assuming everything posted was true. But he makes her cry constantly by either being a complete dick, or just being so socially inept that he didn't know better. She seemed to really dig him, but I wasn't there and can't say for sure.

Then his budgetary strength starts to fail and he tells her she has to keep working to hold up her end of the deal. (As an aside, I see lots of gringos who expect a Mexican lady to earn enough to be a more or less equal partner in a relationship.
