Yes you are correct. USA and Canada are the leaders on technology in oil and gas industry. Our market analysts state that less than 40% of drilling rigs are operating now. With USA production down over 1 million barrels a day and the void of the 830,000 barrels a day from Canada we are forced to go to OPEC, Saudi, Iran and Venezuela to buy oil. These countries are not stupid like Biden cultists. They know USA will buy the oil at any price. That is why companies like Chevron and Exxon are putting their exploration money into other countries. Investing billions in other countries. Employing workers in other countries. Paying taxes in other countries. The oil companies are making billions and Biden can take credit for it. On tv Biden talks tough and blames the oil companies for overcharging but he is totally to blame.

Firstly the Canadian oil sands are mined not drilled which clearly shows your ignorance. Prior to the pandemic the oil sands industry was in crisis as the breakeven for this supply is over $50 per barrel and this oil being bituminous has lower yields and is more costly to refine so sells at a steep discount. To increase production requires major investment in mining equipment and processing plants to separate the oil from the sand and convert it to a form that can be transported (all of which is expensive and energy intensive). The fact that even at current pricing this oil isn't very profitable and that the Canadian government have legislated commitments to reduce greenhouse gases of which oil sands mining is a huge emitter means there is great reluctance to expand capacity. I know economics and managements are your weak points but sorry political rhetoric does not drive investment decisions. I am glad though that you have finally admitted that there is not currently the production capacity in Canada to require the Keystone XL pipeline..

Above post is stupidity in its finest. Canada oil does not all come from the oil sands. The majority is discovered by drilling rigs just like in the USA and the rest of the world. Oil from the oil sands is probably at $30-40 a barrel. Oil is at $100. They know that when the president of the USA tries to kill an industry like oil and gas that shortages will come and oil will skyrocket. I convinced about 70% of my customers to load up on major oil stocks shortly after Biden took office. Returns were 60-80% in 2021 and they are up 35-40% already this year. Plus they pay 3-7% dividends. Exxon is walking away from a billion dollar project in Russia and will take a loss of 1 billion in 2022 but Biden made sure their profits everywhere else in the world would go up $3 billion. Don't tell me investors are worried about new drilling because that is an outright lie. Investors want them to produce as much as they can.

The magazine and its many digital platforms benefits from submissions, dialogue, differing views and analysis from the many top minds on international relations.

9. The Atlantic.

This is another national treasure, a monthly magazine that presents a view of the nation and world from Washington the. See. It is informed by many top journalists who write long-form features and also write some analysis. The Atlantic web site sometimes hews to clickable headlines. But the magazine and its parent company also subscribe to American journalism principles of fact-based reporting.

10. Politico.

Founded by reporters who left the Washington Post in 2006, Politico has built itself into a crucial player in politics reporting in the USA (and with expansions to Europe).
