Make up any story and process that offends you and sure, it can feel unfair.

    Cheap but decent Hotels?

Not sure where to post this. I didn't see a hotels thread like in other cities / countries ok ISG.

I'll be staying 5 nights in Tijuana next month. Would appreciate recommendations for cheaper end hotels, that are still decent and In Zona Norte close to all the entertainment. Thanks!

    Ukrainians in Tijuana

I am sure that is why they hire Mexicans otherwise the place would look like a nyc strip club, which is a united nations of woman.
Not entirely true. I have several Ukrainian neighbors that have been living in Tijuana for a couple of months now. Not sure how much longer they are staying, but seems like they can't cross into the USA Yet and seem pretty comfortable where they currently are in Tijuana.

He's the man in charge of INM in Tijuana.

Don't let the INM monkey rob, rape then laugh at you. Write letters to complain about the abuses by his employees at the border.

Point out the damages to his org, Tijuana and Mexico. Tell him what your attorneys, US officials, business leaders and your friends in Mexico's government will do to hold and punish him along with his people to US and Mexico's laws.

Suggest improvements with promises for rewards if he and his people keep the border entry nice, clean, safe, free and efficient.

Free if you're in Mexico for 7 days or less. But yes the FFM's have always been free for short trips. Surprising to me that there are frequent border travelers who didn't know this LOL.

Right, that's always been my issue with my (Sprint) service right after I cross the border. Always lose my connection so can't get an Uber. I think it's been explained on these boards before why that happens. Something about the cell tower switches once you cross the border (didn't completely understand the explanation). So I pretty much always get a taxi or if I have no luggage and it's early enough in the day I take the 10 peso van from the border to the Revolucion area and walk a couple blocks over to Zona Norte. If you're going straight to Hong Kong / Cascadas you can also just take the free limo from the border (though you're expected to tip a little bit).

My connection of course usually works fine once I'm further inside Mexico. I've been finding on my more recent trips that Didi is usually cheaper than Uber and works just as well so I've been using that more often.

    Don't shoot the messenger.

Cops are the visibility arm of city hall. Phone calls make laws relevant on demand for political reasons.

Do you wait right in front of the cab stands immediately after entering, cross the street and wait at Farmacia Roma, or somewhere else? I caught a video on YouTube where somebody said he walks half a block away down ferrocarril to a paid parking lot to call, which seemed a bit much to me. PedWest had a standard carshare area but I'm never quite sure where the right place for carshare is at PedEast.
