You should consider going when it is Songkran. It is like a big water fight and lots of wet t shirts all over. Not sure how it is during COVID. Pattaya is great, but also suggest not missing Phuket and the boat tours to the islands. It just depends on how you want to vacation, but all out mongering is Pattaya. If you get a chance, then hit up Hong Kong and all the walkups (buildings where you knock on doors and see who is behind them) or the Macau saunas where they treat you like a king. Macau saunas could be rather expensive for some cheap Charlie's here, but worth the experience.
