A new "Patong Style" nuru massage has opened in Rawai on Soi Saiyuan.

Its name is Kimono Japanese Massage.

They say they aren't associated with Nuru Massage in Patong (which has two shops).

Yet their service offering provided and setup looks identical.

At the moment they have introductory offers running.

One lady, 1500 baht 60 minutes, bodyslide, BBBJ, handjob, no sex (at least in the included price that is).

Two ladies, 2500 baht 60 minutes, bodyslide, BBBJ, handjob, no sex (at least in the included price that is).

Just 3 girls working in the afternoon, and sadly I chose poorly.

I picked a librarian type in glasses, hoping she would be hot in the room, but she wasn't.

Tho she did give all the required service elements as had been provided at Nuru Massage shops in Patong.

Boom Boom price on Sainamyen is 1200-1500 plus a massage fee. The anchor points are beach road on one end of Sainamyen, and the hospital on the other end. On Ratuthit the end point north would be 50 m past sainamyen, to the south would be back to Bangla Road.

I think I might be able to get away from work at the end of June so looking at returning to Phuket. Airfare is $$$ (I'm in California).

So to line up entertainment I bought a monthly subscription to TF. Its going to be a lot of work! LOL.

I sent 16 messages this morning. I expect to receive one or two replies. Of course, I've received 3-4 from undesirables within 30 minutes of joining.

What's a good price for boom-boom at Soi Saynamyen? I think I've been slightly overpaying at Ratuthit.

I focused just on the massage parlours on Ratuthit road. Time was of the essence with me (since I'm with family) and so my excursions were one hour max. On Ratuthit road, the two anchor points I used were Holiday Inn resort on the south and a 7-11 store on the north point of that road. Between these, you have a choice of massage parlours. I typically would take a tuktuk to Hooters (just south of Holiday Inn) and walk up north. I like to check out all the ladies who are all seated in front of the parlours. They typically shove their massage rate cards at you showing you the massage services & prices. I tell them I just want FS straight, no massage needed and we negotiate. I've tried two places / three ladies so far and this is my review:.

Absolutely. Here's my report so far.

I had just landed and needed a fix at 1 pm and she was aggressive and offered FS upfront. Looks + body 2/10 and but I was hoping for dynamite FS. Quote me 1 k Baht but I had to pay 400 baht to her madam for the "massage". Once we got down to it, she asked me for another 500 for my hands to roam around her and engage in multiple positions. The FS score ended up being 3/10, so I would say avoid miss Mai Tai!

2) Place: Nana Massage.

SP: MoMo, Looks & Body: 7.5/10. FS rating: 8.5/10. She was awesome. Very good demeanor, does not rush you and allows your hands to roam. Gave uncovered BJ and very amenable to all positions and requests. No rushed service. She quoted me 2 K (I didn't negotiate well) and I gave her a tip too. Highly recommend MoMo. I was there at 5 pm.

SP: Apple, Looks & Body: 7/10. FS rating: 7.5/10. She was good too. Very good demeanor, a little bit of a rush and appeared nervous. Probably new to the game. Allows your hands to roam. Gave covered BJ and also amenable to all positions and requests. I offered her 1.5 K in the beginning and she accepted. I initially went in looking for MoMo but she was not there (this was a 2 pm operation and MoMo was not in yet). I gave her a tip at the end too. I recommend Apple too.

These are my reports thus far. I'll add more if I can squeeze 1 or 2 more excursions before I leave this weekend.

P.S: I'm surprised you say BKK is dry. I thought that was the capital of everything.

So I am travelling next week to BKK and Phuket and staying at a resort with familia at Karon. We chose Karon because its not so far from the action but still reasonably far to have a good relaxed time with the familia.

For USA people traveling, do not be partial to USA airlines. My experience is the non-USA airlines are better (Korean, Cathay Pacific, Qatar, and Lufthansa). I'm surprised that the USA based airlines have any international business at all.

I'm trying to get to BKK and then Phuket in July using American miles. American typically gets there via Hong Kong (that may be out now) or Japan. Hong Kong worries me after seeing their government lock down Shanghai. Japan is 100% closed to tourists for now but its talking about gradually opening up. I prefer to spend a day or two in another country where I change planes to Thailand. Has anybody flown to Thailand but spent a day or so in another country on the way? Which airline did you use?

I use PriceLine.com to see which airlines are flying the routes of interest. After I narrow it down to a few airlines, I book directly from the airline website. Years ago the travel service websites occasionally had the best prices, but I haven't seen it recently. The airline websites also are better about showing all the available options in terms of service, refunds, schedules, and seating.
