What are our mongering options once we reopen from our lockdown? I know our whereabouts and every movement have always been tracked, but it will be even more so after we reopen. For example, we will have to show our health codes and even have it scanned (digital sentry or by boa-an) to enter most places. Would like to hear people's thoughts, and even speculations, about this.

Out in HZ, we have to get tested every 48 hours. So to go into a public place, we have to scan a code that will show a green code and that we have taken the covid test within the last 48 hours. The few regulars that I have made in HZ asked if I could pay in cash so their exact location won't be compromised by the wechat / alipay app. I guess, it's for in case I have visited an area that pops up with a covid case.

I did visit a spot a few months back that didn't do any scanning but took payment by cash or wechat / alipay. But HZ hasn't been locked down like SH so they might be a little bit more on edge coming out of that.

I've also been wondering this. Currently our compound is requiring us to scan our green codes to reenter (the digital sentry you noticed), which means you'll definitely be on a close contacts list should something ever come up (the nightmare scenario, alongside being locked down with a "friend" Figure break it down by the options:

Incall: Depends on the compound, but I figure the girl you're seeing will account for this. Might be popping in through the car park. Some bao'an's could be extra eager about visitors and we stick out (on a side note I'm hopeful the huge amount of cases will somewhat reduce the amount of bao'ans who think every foreigner has covid). This will surely limit the freewheeling SWs on Yanping who take you into a nearby housing complex to a deserted stairwell.

Outcall: Same issue and not an option for some of us.

Venue-based: Spas / MPs, gritty bars like T nearby M / J where you can get serviced in the weird upstairs area. These places will have plenty to deal with with just the increased oversight, which alone can limit services.

Venue based is probably the safest option actually, from a covid rules point of view. Anything residential is going to be hit or miss, changing day by day, and with a variety of risks that a business won't carry.

Also, so so so many locals have returned to their hometowns so I figure that'll have an effect on availability. I can only imagine how the Viets faired during this time too. Poor hairdressers, anybody know how they are doing? I think each of our black books is going to be much much slimmer should hobbies resume.

Speaking of everybody being around, a Viet regular called me multiple times one night and thankfully it wasn't noticed. Her message said something about playing online which is off the table even if I didn't have pornhub. I can only imagine how desperate she might be, but blocked her out of principle as that's reckless behavior in my book calling mid-evening during peak family hours. Glad I stopped calls from routing through my iPad and MacBook or else I'd be fucked. This happen to anybody else?

I've never had any Chinese FL's call me like that. They usually wait for me to contact them. But in my last city, a mamasan would periodically send pictures of her new gals which I liked because I was single and always horny. LOL! A buddy of mine told her don't message him unless he messaged first because he had a family at home.

I did however, have a Viet FL from Taiwan call me constantly on Line. I deleted her because it was like 15 times a day, for no damn reason at all!

An unbelievable coincidence! While I was walking around my compound yesterday, I saw this chick walking around too. She was by herself. Very skinny, wearing tight black pants, and a shirt that revealed her stomach. She was wearing makeup and high heels too! She walked around the compound for a long time, while taking selfies of herself. I am pretty sure she knew that I was staring at her. I was sorely tempted to ask for her wechat, but I decided to pass. But she must be a FL, is what I am thinking.

Anyway, when is this lockdown going to be over?

I guess even when the lockdown is over, it is not like we will be able to resume our hobby right away. Sigh.

I know exactly what you mean. When we do testing, I have to make a conscious effort not to stare at any reasonable-looking youngish mom in my compound. They seem sexier with each passing day.

That's a great story. I would have visited her every day, haha. About twenty years ago, a couple of hot escorts lived in my building. I sometimes kick myself for not taking advantage of that. They would look at me sometimes, and I would walk away scared, hahaha. But maybe I avoided a disaster, haha. BTW, it sounds like she just rented that room on your hallway, using the Chinese equivalent of AirBNB or some such. There are FL gals and indie gals that come to Shanghai for a couple of weeks, and they stay in rented rooms. They return to their hometowns afterwards, to return next month or whenever they want to make some fast cash.

Hahaha, that's funny because a buddy of mine said he would have seen her about 3 times within that span. LOL! But I took my time mainly because she was next door and I seeing other FL's from a mamasan I met on people nearby. LOL! I didn't even realized she was gone until I messaged her a few weeks later. In my last city, I had an encounter with a gal (maybe a quasi FL) that lived next door to me. The apartment building had several units on each floor and shortly after she moved in, I would notice guys hanging around the elevator or close to her apartment. I had seen her a few times but it was just in passing. Then one day I saw her in the hallway and she asked for my Wechat. Then after the add, she asked if I would like to spend some time with her. I asked how much and she said 5 k to help pay for her rent. LOL! I said absolutely not and she said, okay how about 300. So I accepted, showered, went to her place and had a good time. It ended up being a one time thing because she moved a few weeks after the encounter. Looking back, that was a crazy move but I was lucky to not have any problems from it! Probably wouldn't take that risk again but shit, 40 days of lockdown could make me change my mind.

Should I try to tap that, or too close to home? I was thinking about using WeChat's search nearby function too, to see if I can find something in my compound, but I have not used that function in a long time. There's actually someone in the building next to mine that gives off this vibe that she's a WG, but probably my wishful thinking, LOL.

I lived in China for several years followed that adage. There are some points against someone in your own compound these being that it would be difficult to chase someone else, difficult to bring an outsider in later on, a cooperative neighbour may become possessive, an angry husband or boyfriend may come on the scene, gossip will happen and the tale change and become exaggerated (walls have ears and eyes), I don't know about your neighbourhood but mine still had denunciation boxes on the walls, your employer or the local Party people may be contracted and lastly involvement of the law.

Just my thoughts, best to play away from home. Do you still get to go to the supermarket? Maybe some opportunity there especially if they have a more lax or non existent security where they live.

Hey man. As MW says long time. Yeah the ShAnghai scene seems totally busted. Thank god I don't depend on that. Can't recall where you live but most of us stateside guys are doing Seekibg Arrangements. Fuck ton of work and expensive because it's US pricing but totally worth it.
