Been reading about HK for a while now and finally decided to go. Went across and got an Uber and got there around 6:30 pm. Bought the VIP card and then checked into 9th floor suite. Pretty nice room for a decent rate with the discount, no way it's worth full price. Went across to Oxxo and picked up a bottle of tequila and 12-pack of beer. Came back across the street and one of the bellman saw my fumbling with the cans falling and offered to help me bring it to my room. In hindsight, a mistake was telling him this was my first time in HK as you'll see why later.

Went down and did a few laps, of the place. Place was popping for 8 pm on a weeknight. Lotsa ladies, most just sitting around or standing and being on their phones. Got a few drinks and was just chilling in the quiet bar at the back when a mesero comes by and sits a blonde next to me and asks if I want to buy her a drink. Did a quick scan and yeah, she's my type. Introduced herself as Navie (or something like that) and I spend some time talking to her while she's sipping on her beer. I got lost in time but it feels like she finished her beer in about 15 minutes and mesero comes by asking for another. I told her 'no, I'd rather just go up and not get another drink'. I think we ended up agreeing on $240 for 2.5 hours as I didn't think that I'd be heading down again. She asks for cash up front, and I tell her I'll give her half now, half when we're done. Looking back now, I could see she was procrastinating slightly and taking her time and I knew why a bit later. Soon after, a knock came on the door and it was 2 meseros saying I needed to buy beer or else the girl has to go back down. His English was very broken, so he radios in to who I assume is the floor supervisor / manager. He shows up and sure enough, its the same guy who walked me to my room earlier that night. Says I have to buy a buck of 10 beers in order for her to stay the extra hour. I told them I don't have enough cash to buy beer as I negotiated the 2 hours with her and I had no idea the room required a $200 deposit. So they tell me I can go down and pay by card. The knock alone was a major buzzkill, and heading down to pay for the beers, yeah, that didn't help. So he tells me that the bucket is good for another hour and then she got to go back down to work. Pretty bullshit if you ask me, what the hell is the point in getting a room. I was also pretty buzzed but realized they overcharged me for $3000 pesos, so not the $100 for the bucket he said (probably would have been $100 with cash). Either way, get back to the room, and start fooling around more and she starts to give CBJ. Don't know if it was the tons of booze with the edibles and the buzzkill interruption but couldn't get junior going. Little over an hour later, another knock but just once so I ignored it pretending I couldn't hear it and it stops. About 10 minutes later, more heavy knocking. Open the door and its 3 meseros and the floor manager, says that she got to go back down to work and that if I want her longer in the room, had to pay for another 10 beers, or for the rest of the night, it'd be 30 beers. I'm like, dude, I can't even drink anymore and I didn't even want to buy the original bucket. So decided to call it the end of the night as there was no way I was going to buy more booze. On her way out, she gets my phone # and it wasn't until I came back to the US where I see that she had sent a message last night in Spanish. Translated and it was basically her mentioning that she had to pay the bar $100 as a penalty. I'm assuming this was another ploy to squeeze more money. By the time she left, she had stayed for about 2. 5-3 hours and I paid her $240 total and what looks to be about $155 for the bucket for 0 pops.

Needless to say, pretty disappointed about the trip, maybe I overhyped it in my head after reading about it here and elsewhere. Looking back, here are some things I should have done differently: not tell anyone that it's my first trip (guess that pretty much opens you up to get gouged). Negotiating with her for just an hour (if they're going to knock after an hour to make you buy booze, what the point is there to negotiate extra time? Might bring over my vape pen next time. As far as the girl is concerned, I should have let her go after she downed her drink relatively quickly or after the first knock (when she already had $150 from me, but probably better to cut losses).

In the end, I realized mistakes were made and lessons were learnt. I'm thinking of maybe going back in a week or two, but not have too much expectations this time around. I noticed that the women are not nearly as aggressive as the dancers in the states or in Vegas. Walking around and sitting around for 2 hours or so, I wasn't approached by a single chica. Either they all think I don't have money or too ugly or something. I do have a question about how you approach girls that are just sitting / standing on their phones. It's hard to get a good look as you're walking by them and it feels weird to just stop in front of one to check them out. I've read here in the forums that some other mongers have had their best experiences with girls who they approached, but damn, it'd be crazy expensive to spend a beer on every single chica that you talk to. Sorry to hear about your bad session, Paxsie. I had a similar situation happen to me with a different girl in HK. I wrote about it on here. After about 5 or 10 minutes of a bitchy attitude I called for one of the guys who clean the rooms and asked them to get someone in charge because the girl wasn't giving good service. It was a whole deal, I kept it respectful with the staff and they more so believed my side of the story, as they also heard her side which was completely made up. In the end I agreed to let her keep $50 and the manager returned the rest to me, if I recall correctly because she did give me head a little bit and I got her in doggy for a couple minutes before I got tired of her attitude and got up. Also, they took my name down and comped me on my next room fee.

HK has the best looking girls but in my opinion you get your best bang for your buck at the other clubs, if you can find a female to your liking. My last 5 sessions at adelitas have all been home runs, 10/10 service. If you go late at night they have a good selection of newer females. During the daytime, not so much. Best of all, they dont automatically quote you 100 or something ridiculous like 150. On average I have been quoted 80, 100 max. But even the ones that ask for 100 are open to listen to a counter offer. In HK I tend to stick to girls I have already vetted myself or from recommendations from my fellow mongers. It's too risky to go upstairs with a brand new pick in HK, unless you don't value your money.

I sat at a table in Chavelas, drinking with the bros, waiting for a bro to get his table on the balcony. He showed up and bought a $500 don Julio 1942.
