I was in Phuket and Bangkok for 10 days last week. Things are back to normal for the locals. However, foreign tourists are still down and hotels were very cheap. Unfortunately I did not have time to monger as my family was traveling with me. I was also sick with food poisoning. Ate bad grilled shrimp.

On my first night in Bangkok, I stopped into Crazy House. The downstairs is filled with girls and customers but upstairs is closed. It has been many years since I was in Bangkok but I used to pick up street walkers on the street across from the Phetchaburi station late at night. Sukhothai is a pretty place to visit. There are hardly any western tourists in normal times, probably less now. $88 usd is the round trip from BKK. The other alternative is a one way ticket to Sukhothai, see the temples / ruins and then a bus to Phitsanulok. Then head north on the train to Chiangmai. Phitsanulok has some great food around the train station. The train from Phitsanulok to Chiangmai is interesting and scenic. I find the train from Phitsanulok to Bangkok grueling and sort of boring.
Definitely bring a sex friend to Sukhothai.

Where's the best chance to find bareback in Bangkok these days? Last time I was there in 2019 it took me several nights to find a girl willing to have sex the way god intended it. (With the availability of PrEP and HIV test kits, I find the risk very acceptable; I know others do not). You really can't go wrong in Bangkok, as I imagine you know better than most. Alot of pride in the level of hospitality is evident in every hotel I've stayed at (over 20 hotels). Penny Black had rooms? Seems like it is only a bar, right on Cowboy. Maybe I am thinking of some other place. Open front, very close to the Asoke entrance, on the south side (I just looked on Apple maps).

From the very start I never like BKK, it was too big and too much traffic, and that was before they had the BTS.

Now going to BKK gives me a break I use excuse I need to go to US Embassy for some business while there I try to enjoy as many massage places as possible. Pattaya just doesn't have places like Tulip, Mango, etc.

As far as I know Black Penny still does have rooms when I heard they had a club or bar above reception area while on one of my sneakers away trips to BKK, I went by that was just before covid price I was told 1500 baht.

Old habits with Nana, reason was the disco Angel gone now for years, I get in late, I could always find something there never leave the hotel I figure I might be able to do that with BP?

I stayed at black penny when it first open nice rooms for. 700 baht, had a wild time with a girl from Annie's, I read a report prior to covid that their second level was a hot spot for freelancers after go-go hours.

Across on the other side of street was the night club in the basement of the Intercontinental, Minx, but don't think that is open now. Maybe soon once the entertainment ban is lifted on May 31. Both are very high end and the girls, albeit attractive, had an overstated value of their worth.

That is the one! I would agree that there are a lot of "high end" girls there, but the times I ventured to that club, I was able to find a lady or two that will "newbies" or really good actresses. It was obvious after a drink or two they didn't have much in the way of "gaming skills". One even told me that her friend told her to ask for 10,000 Baht. I told her I would agree to that number for a three day weekend and if her friend told her she was getting 10 K a night, that was probably not accurate. I took both home (different nights) for less that half that and it was a fun time for certain with both ladies. A year later I found that both ladies were married and not available, or at least they told me that the month before I returned to Bangkok.

I would also incorporate a stopover in Frankfurt to visit FKK Sharks. A warm late summer day with 200 naked girls wandering around is something that every man should experience before he dies. There is nothing like this outside of Europe, certainly not in Thailand.

In short, I would fly to Bangkok via Frankfurt. Stop in Frankfurt for a day or two and visit FKK Sharks. Then fly on to Bangkok. Spend 2 weeks finding your girlfriend. Then spend the next month on the beaches, in the jungles, in the temples, exploring the beautiful land of smiles. And spend each night in a lascivious threesome. I am jealous. This sounds likes the ultimate end of life.

That actually sounds like a good plan, and it might be nice to get a practice trip of about half that length to be honest. The one thing I might change is Sharks, while Sharks is certainly nice because of ease to get there, I might venture to one or two others. One thing for sure, you can find some very nice Romanian ladies there. I wish there was a way to find a suitable travel companion in a 5 days or less. That would be a great time investment.

Specifically, why not consider a hotel on or near Soi 23. There is Jasmine Suites (jasminecity.com) just off of Sukhumvit. Very nice with a small gym, and beautiful pool. Also an excellent breakfast. If you arrive hotel 12 am, have a quick shower and soon you'll be at Soi Cowboy. Actually, the closest bar is Crazy House. Penny Black is not far. After the bars close, you can stroll up Soi 23 and get an oil massage, as there are a few shops still open at that late hour. Have a good trip back to the USA (I just arrived in the USA Myself).

Tried Jasmine Suites. I agree with your recommendation. Food is available at the mini mall just in front of the lobby entrance.

Location is good. Near Asok BTS station, T21, cowboy, massages, many other food options in the area. Value for price too.

I loved the location, even though cowboy was my least preferred entertainment area.
The proximity to BTS station also means that other entertainment areas like Nana are within a few minutes' reach. Also quite easy to reach the airport rail station at Makkasan.
