Posts: 2422Saw a shit load of military on patrol last night (Saturday). A shit load. Talked to a mother hen chica. And she told me yeah, she noticed it too and it is probably due to the big increase in violence lately. National guards knows they're in a civilian area so they seemed pretty mellow. But I don't think Mexican soldiers knew because they loaded their SAWs with full belts as they went through the alley. Fuck.

Posts: 2632Always verify the price upfront when you to a restaurant. Several years I went to this on place in Puerto Nuevo. They waiter said it was $23 for the lobster thermidor. But when I got the bill it said $35. They then claimed that the price was higher because it was the bigger lobster. I was by myself so not much I could do.

Lesson learned. Don't fucking eat the food unless you agree with the pricing. Prices are either in the menu or on the wall. If you are caught stealing, you are going to have to pay someone off especially when you are rich enough to sport a $900 phone.

Posts: 657Mexican footbridge collapses as mayor inaugurates it
"The mayor of the Mexican city of Cuernavaca was proudly inaugurating a footbridge over a scenic stream Tuesday when the bridge collapsed, sending him and about two dozen other people plunging into a gully.
Local officials, including city council members, fell about 10 feet (3 meters) onto rocks and boulders in the streambed.
The head of the state civil defense office, Enrique Clemente, told the Milenio television station that about eight people were injured, many with broken bones. The mayor was not listed as among those seriously hurt.
The crush of officials and journalists on the bridge during the inauguration may have exceeded its planned capacity. . . ".
If visiting Tijuana and walking across the pedestrian bridge, you might want to take another route unless you like impromptu flying lesssons!

Posts: 6544This alleged arrest and imprison are utter bullshit
First of all there is no mariscos restaurant across from Hong Kong. The Sushi One guy closed down a year before CoVid.
This guy does not know Tijuana police procedures. This matter is civil, no the criminal. He said he offered to pay the extra $5 and did not give reasons and details why policías still arrested him. It made no sense. If the food guy did not take the money, policia had to let him go. If the matter was still not resolved, both parties would go to policía station to see a judge to adjudicate on the spot.
He never explained who, how, why put him in jail. It takes a judge's order for policía to jail someone. His account is just bullshit.
I got stop driving home alone after midnight on Madero with a bullshit to charge. Policía threatened to jail me, wanted DC me to get in his car. I denied the charges and refused to get in his car, told him to call his sergeant or his lieutenant in. I was also calling 066 for emergency. He could not bluff me so just laughed and let me go.
Just one example but don't let anyone trample over you.

Posts: 613This guy went to Tijuana jail for failing to pay extra $5 for meal
In this video this guy went to Tijuana jail for failing to pay extra $5 for meal and the cops kept his phone, etc.

Scary. Do you guys believe it?
He says go in groups to avoid it. But I generally go alone so I find this particularly scary.
Anyone been taken away by the Tijuana cops?

These policia perverts are cruising slowly to look up street girls' skirt, drooling of eating those wet pussies.

Posts: 2422Zona police is using a new strategy, specifically to deter crimes instead of arresting perps. They now turn on their police siren lights (but in silent mode) and slowly slowly slowly cruise around the zona norte. Interesting since they do a switch-a-roo and like to do their busting on Busting-Sundays.
