No showers in rooms above the clubs. Small toilet and sink with mirror only.

    Showers

When you pull a girl from El Centro to take to a short-time motel, do you normally take a shower at the start of the session (or both at the start and the end)? If so, do you shower first or does the girl shower first? Do you bring your clothes with you into the bathroom to make sure the girl doesn't steal from you while you are in the shower? Does the time in the shower count as part of your time for the session? Is it the same way in the casas?

So far, I've only tried Santa Fe in Bogota and there were no showers in the rooms, but a lot of reports in this thread mention taking a shower.

    How's the rain everyone?

I will be there next week and was planning to hit up Botero girls exclusively as they treated me so well when I went back in November 2021.

But I'm reading about these rainstorms going on.

One of these days you will be asked to show proof of an exit ticket out of Colombia, and as evidenced by the posts on this, it is totally hit or miss whether the airline asks for proof of exit, unless of course you have purchased a round trip ticket with the airline your flying on, hence they are not going to ask.

Siiiii, mi amigo, we are in agreement

When I fly to Asia, I use Thailand as my base. For me, usually the round trip ticket is about the same price as one way ticket so I always buy round trip for a trip that may last many months. I will then buy round trip ticket departing from BKK to other countries. When I enter BKK again, it is always on the return leg so it is the same as one way. I will make trips like this multiple times during one trip to Asia. I have been asked by airline and by custom about my onward ticket because it is not on the same ticket in their system. I don't keep track how many times but I have been asked.

This is just my experience so please don't generalize it to think I disagree with you or you will be asked to show onward ticket. I personally will buy one way ticket when it makes sense but will be prepared to purchase onward ticket when required.

The last ticket I bought to MDE is one way ticket.
I was trying to make light of the issue by implying if they don't like the way you look, you have to have a return ticket. Bad joke. I guess there's a market for the fake tickets, and so far I am not their target customer, jaja.

My take on it was that there appears to be a varying degree of enforcement for the "round-trip ticket requirement" based on the country of destination and the airline.

I get a pop-up every time when I book my one-way ticket to Colombia saying that I can be refused entry, and I have ignored it, and so far so good. Of course, that is the same thing the fella said after he jumped from the top of a skyscraper on his way down, the people on the 69th floor overheard him saying the same thing, "So far, so good". Jajajjajajajjaaa.

As several have suggested, one work around would be to get out your smart phone in real time, book a return ticket, and then cancel it within 24 hours, or use the fake ticket service you mentioned, which fortunately I have never had to do, but now I am probably jinxed.

I am not suggesting, nor do I rarely, that one way of doing something is better than another, unless the harm or safety of self and others comes into play.

Yeah, I don't know how many one-way international tickets I have bought, many

I don't know how other airlines flying into Colombia handle this, but seems as though these airlines were trying to avoid delays at the boarding gates, making sure that all of the travelers documents are in order before getting to the boarding gate with their boarding passes stamped "Doc's OK" on them, at least that has been my experience.

As far as the return ticket, or exit ticket being mentioned as a requirement for flying into Colombia, I know COPA has always been very strict about this, but don't remember AVIANCA asking every time I have flown with them.

And I have never heard on this board of anyone arriving in Colombia who didn't have a an exit ticket being asked by immigration about this. I suppose since it is a requirement that the airlines must check for before allowing someone to board, that immigration doesn't even bother checking or confirming.

Lastly, you should know that beauty and sexual satisfaction are entirely subjective. If someone is your hero because they claim to have the most beautiful woman and the best sex, then you should probably just give up women entirely. If Elvis is enjoying himself or is completely miserable it doesn't matter, except to him.
LOL. You think Don has not had great sex with a hottie before? Where did you come up with that? Clearly, you have no clue why there was the hero comment.

Say Don has a 10 he meets and they have great sex. She wants to be serious, and he has visions of them driving off into the sunset. If he asked for my advice, this is what I would tell him.

Every time a person who does not know you two and sees you two together, they are going to think she is a working girl out for money and citizenship, so she had better be a strong woman to deal with that.

Almost every guy is going to look at her and you and think to himself, "Why are you with him when you can be with me?" And some of these same guys are going to act on it, and all these guys are going to want your relationship to fail so they have a crack at her.

There are only so many 10's, and the USA has much more competition than Colombia. Is your girl going to stay with you when an offer of a limo, yacht, or private jet comes around? Because that is going to happen.

Then there are the "experts" on Colombia. You are in the USA, and she is in Colombia. Is there any guy here who thinks she is going to be loyal when you are away? Even if she says she is going to be true to you, are you really going to believe her? You are going to have these feelings whether they are true or not, and you have to be really secure to deal with that.

Yeah, for me, it is like one in two that I am asked when I book two one way tickets. I usually have my other one way booked in advance, but if I wanted an unspecified date to return, I would book a ticket on Expedia or Spirit and cancel it. I think they both allow refunds if you cancel within 24 hours.

My opinion is it is very difficult to predict how the peso and US dollar will interact post election. The fact is the peso has not strengthened very much since it was at 4100+ during the days before the first round vote (3910 today). The conventional wisdom is the peso will strengthen with a Rodolfo Hernandez win and weaken with a Gustavo Petro win. But again, it is very difficult to predict. We will soon know.
