Landed in NAIA T3. Walked over to bay 14 for Genesis Bus to AC. It was 4:55 pm, just in time for the 5:00 pm bus. This time it didn't leave promptly at 5:00. It left at 5:15 after adding 7-8 more passengers. Still the bus was only half full, leaving everyone a vacant seat next to them.

75 minutes later after weaving thru unfamiliar Manila streets it was at the NLEX entrance. 75 minutes later we were at SM Clark. 2 and 1/2 hours total. The max speed the bus ever went was 65 kph even when it could have gone faster on NLEX. I guess orders came down to go slower due to higher fuel prices is the only thing I can think of. I am used to the buses going like a bat out of hell on NLEX!

Private car would have gotten me there in 2 hours via the new skyway but 3 k more. The bus seat is more comfortable.

Checked in to hotel and had dinner. I was inside one of my fav warm and wet by 9:30.

Men used to go to the Walking Street for the sole purpose of fucking, now is full of aspiring Hollywood film makers, that have no shame, and no regard for others privacy, especially in a place like this.

I hope somebody starts punching them in the teeth, until then maybe for some the mask is a good thing, Zorro masks will be better.

I am sure I have been caught by the cam guys on the streets because they are ubiquitous. The worse was when I was inside and had one hand up and under a gyrating spinner's t-shirt and the other hand deep inside the front of her shorts. A flash behind me caught my attention. I turned around and there was 4 dweebs with their phones on and lights on video taping me. I wished I wore a mask.

Guys should film their own exploits.

The mask thing is weird. Everyone wears one outside and nobody inside. Even the staff at Central Park didn't wear masks. I didn't wear one ever and nobody cared. There is still plenty of fun to be had. I will be back soon.

Masks are meeting worldwide resistance. It has become a macho thing. Right Pilgrim? Which means both heads are not doing the thinking. As with all communicable diseases, there is a social responsibility not to spread communicable diseases. Guy with aids got arrested for deliberately having unprotected sex with girls.

In Singapore, a monkeypox guy tried to skip town. Luckily I am not in that high risk group.

If you come to the PI to experience local varieties of the female type, masks and PPEs are pretty contrary to your mission goals. Luckily the big head will know if you won the Covid Russian roulette game within a week or two, on average. Same with monkey pox. Luckily my generation all got jabs for least one of those.

It is a hard choice. But when you are in the PI with a little wiggly spinner on your lap, you will definitely be eager to rip off more than your mask.

Carpe diem. LIfe is short. And may be shorter. But what a way to go in style.

Hey DG, I know you were there recently. Are you saying this mask thing is new from the last time you were there a few months ago? I still see plenty of people (mostly foreigners) maskless on walking street on YouTube.

It was new to me. It wasn't really policed walking down the street or in the bars.

It could have been a one time thing. It could have been a fake police set up for all I know. I didn't question it.

The night I went to Fields there was some kind of police at the entrance requiring masks. I did not have mine with me. "Fortunely" there was a lady selling masks for 50 pesos each. Instead of being outraged I paid 50 pesos on the spot and proceeded in. Didn't care if I was scammed or not. I was on a mission to be inside somebody warm and wet the next hour.

I went into a few crowded bars where the bg's were busy. I ended up in one bar that wasn't busy. Probably because the barfine was 5 k. I wasn't outraged with the 5 k BF. I barfined one girl as per a previous post. The night went great even with unexpected events.

I don't mind the rules of entry. Glad to be in PH and AC.

I respect those that will not come due to their principles.

I'm glad you did, but who in the world still wants to worry at this point about still wearing a fking mask, when their so many other places to go? Sooo many! I would think you were joking about police on each end of walking street if I didn't see the video!

Could not agree with anything more than this. Vloggers are complete scumbags. Clickbait titles just to get views. I look forward to when some of these rodents start getting arrested. Actually that is insulting to rodents, they are above these jerk offs.

Your reservation is confirmed and valid. The hotel is NOT yet sold.
Hotel Royal Amsterdam signage was not removed. We only removed the Vinyl Canopy Roofing in front of the hotel and changed it to Long span metal roofing.

Please provide an update on the rooms when you stay there as a lot of them were undergoing some kind of renovation, the beds in this place are SO hard. The hot tub in the suite has no hot water, they may have fixed this. I complained to the management maybe a little to much when I was there, which I might regret a little as the negative feedback may have been a reason why they decided to sell. I do have many fond memories of this hotel and you can't beat its location. Gran central and now Amsterdam maybe being sold they are both places I really enjoyed.

Anyone have news about Hotel Amsterdam looks like it was put on the market and they are painting this iconic hotel white? I can still reserve a room but I always loved the suite at the top of this hotel will be a shame if this landmark is retired.

I do have a reservation for August, so I emailed the hotel, and this is the reply:

Or maybe this is just the Beginning of more Raids, so that Walkingstreet finally can convert into the new "Red Street" free of Prostitution, like the Major anounced a few days ago.

Are you new to walking street? They have had raids going on forever. This is not an unusual event in the video you still see the other bars doing business as usual. Raids are usually retaliatory set up by inside informants (bargirls / mama sans). The girls and mama sans usually just move on to other bars and get reabsorbed. Only worrying thing would be if they were arresting Johns. If they were to start arresting Johns this would be an earnest play to clean walking street.
