They want you to pay that extra so they can brag to their friends you spoiled them.
And you're too generous even at 600 KSh: I just went thru my Bolt receipts and here're some examples:
580 KSh. Due to nighttime jam:
Pickup: Charles New Road - 20:52.
Dropoff: Westlands - 21:37.

530 KSh:
Pickup: Kibera - 20:48.
Dropoff: Gem Lane - 21:14.

450 KSh.
Pickup: Rabai Road - 18:58.
Dropoff: Yaya Centre, Argwings Kodhek Road.

So you're doing the right thing. Don't let them squeeze you for 'luxury' fares. Tell 'them the more you pay in fare, the less they get afterwards.

Posts: 29Any legitimate Nuru Massage areas in Nairobi?
I and my wife would like to get a Nuru massage in Nairobi. Founds Apples Nuru massage w / a quick map search. Seems legit but they don't share pics upfront so hesitating to visit the place. Wondering if there are other options in Nairobi? We're looking for BI girls local or foreigners to get a full service.
Side note: If anyone has a personal contact they're willing to share, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

I also visited Eureka Bar next to Sabina Joy but a bit too professional there. Also no interesting ones inside.
Before I was at Scratch Bar, fully crowded and very interesting ones but they were in groups. So a bit difficult to get in contact.

You will be prepared the next time.
When I walked in to Sabina Joy, there were a few customers mixed in that were just sitting at tables and at the bar drinking nothing at all. I noticed that they seemed to scan my clothes pockets. Being so loud I couldn't hear the receptionist and feeling my personal alarms, I pointed to my ears then turned around and walked out. I immediately crossed the street in case I was being followed then crossed again down the road.

This is common in CBD, phone snatches happen all the time. There is a good clip on you tube of a guy in CBD sitting in a taxi holding his hand out the window with his phone in it showing all the snatch attempts.

As a burned child and I guess many reports about security here, I still have to say.
Do not use your phone outside the streets late night.
Otherwise something could happen what happen to me.
I was standing outside Sabina joy and trying to organize an uber for me and my night nurse. Someone came running and slap my phone out of my hand. The second unfriendly guy take my phone from the ground and run away. No chance, except you are trained well in running. Though some advice's say don't follow such useless persons of mankind cause maybe they bring more troubles in his area for you.
My advice is.
Do not show your phone around, doesn't matter daytime or nighttime.
Have a backup phone with you.
Otherwise it will be difficult for you to reach your favorite ladies from badoo, tinder, afro or whatever.
Use an applocker for your apps and block everything what's important.
Take your logistics for transportation or whatever inside the club.
Go outside hands free and watch carefully your area.
Please do not tell me how stupid I was. I know it very well.
Greetings from Mombasa.

Posts: 390Congolese music in North Coast
Ricky Mololo Ideologica playing in different places, like Standard Grill, opposite Lambada on Fridays.
Ambro la Musica, on Wednesdays in the Yacht Lounge and on Saturdays in his own club, Bottoms Up in Shanzu.
Personally I find Amitie Musica the best Congolese band with the most balanced sound and the best singers. They are playing every weekend in the Summit Grill in Bombolulu, on Wednesdays in Bamburi and sometimes in the Maasai Beach Club in Nyali.
