Just returned from a five night stay at the Taormina Hotel & Casino.

Dunn Inn: This is a family run hotel directly across the street from the Taormina. A resident, who got a monthly rate there, tells me that girls are allowed, for a $10 fee.

Just returned from a five night stay at the Taormina Hotel & Casino.

Of all the nights; Thursday and Friday had the most and best selection of girls. My guess is 30 - 40 girls in all each night, with those coming and going; Probably 25 or so at the highest times. The girls were the best I've seen this trip which was my fourth, post-Covid. The other nights there were about 20 girls max at any given time of the night. Thursday and Friday nights had theme parties in the sports bar each night. Friday they had a live trio which was really good.

Sunday night started out slow, but by 9:00 pm the bar was pretty full. Without getting into too much detail, I can say that the girls are very much more open to BJ without a condom that I've encountered in the past. One girl I had even took a mouth shot, a rarity indeed. Of course, some girls will consider a BJ without a condom as an "extra" and you negotiate that into the overall price. Reportedly, the July occupancy rate at the Taormina had been hit hard because of increased airfares, etc.

As I posted in an earlier report, the girls start arriving about 2:00 pm. The quantity and quality picks up around 6:00 pm. A lot of the girls spent time at the slot machines in the casino, as well as in and out of the sports bar.

HDR Visit: I stopped in HDR on Saturday afternoon after eating lunch at Chubbs Sports Bar, across from Parque Morazan (very nice place to eat and watch sports). I took a stroll to the HDR to see what was going on. Having stayed at the HDR about 20 times over the years, I was shocked that I was the only male patron at the big bar. There were to guys sitting at the lobby bar. In all, there were all of four girls at that hour. In the past, even a weekend afternoon was more crowded than this time. The casino is a bit of a joke and the table games still aren't opened. Apparently the HDR is still squabbling with the city on getting the table games opened.

I just returned from 3 days at the HDR. In an earlier post I asked about the Gran's policy about bringing in girls. When I wandered over to the Gran, I did not get a straight answer on their "girl policy", but was told that I needed to book a double occupancy room with the name of the second person (lady) at time of check in. Obviously, that does not work if the name of your companion changes. So, I booked at my old standby the HDR and was glad I did.

I like the convenience of going from the bar area to a room. The "girl fee" has increased slightly from $11 to $15, which I don't think is that bad. The HDR has made some generally cosmetic changes to the main floor. The rooms seemed the same, but the rooms were never that bad for me. The casino was not open, but I was told it would open in a few weeks. Not having the casino open made converting Dollars to Colones a bit more complicated, but I did venture across the park (in daytime) and found a reputable bank with a Banco National ATM machine that dispensed Colones.

Thursday night had a generally decent selection of ladies, Friday and Saturday night were also not too bad. I like that the HDR collects the IDs of the ladies before proceeding upstairs, which, at least for me, gives me a little piece of mind. Lady prices were about the same as pre-COVID, and I saw a few familiar faces from the pre-COVID days. For all these reasons, I believe the HDR will continue to serve as my base of operations when I return.

Thanks for the report and intel about sleep inn. Seems like a much better hotel than some others like sportmen, delray, castillo etc.

Landed in SanJose CR on a Tuesday Morning at 9 AM after a early morning flight. Contacted Derek (driver / tour guide) from my earlier trip. There was still time to check into hotel (Sleep Inn) next to Delray. More on Sleep Inn later. Left the Luggage in the shuttle and asked the driver to take us to Monica's. Choose a Columbian & Costa Rican mix. Off to the races with first session. Shower 1st round. BBBJ, DATY, tit worship, CFS- Missionary, multiple Doggy positions just to admire the back while pounding, CG, Reverse CG, Standing doggy. Shower, chit chat with translate app- 2nd round CBJ, DATY, CG, Reverse CG, sleeping Doggy. Shower out of the door in 1 hour.

Next visit to Delray after checking into the Hotel. Picked up a cutie. Bring back to Sleep Inn (only the first one is free. If you the book the room for 2 guests) - Wild Session with 1st round in the shower - 2nd session on the couch and Standing Women on top. Will continue the report of my journey tomorrow.

I was in Jaco Thursday night through Monday morning to try hikiing, visited tortago island to include with mongering. Chicas in Jaco has become very business like and the fun element prior to pandemic is missing.

The Taormina has a lot of talent, ONLY at night.

It has been brought to my attention that guys rather stay across the street at the Dunn Inn (P4 P friendly) and bring the girl there.

They have a nice bar area with huge tv screens and only male bartenders whom speak English and are not actively asking for drinks to get you drunk and hit you with a $200 bill unlike at Taormina. Where they have a set of 4 ugly little bartenders and the tallest one whom barely speaks English rubs all over you for drinks ones she got you locked she start asking for shots for everyone single one of her coworkers.

The last time I was in San Jose (June 2022), the Dunn in was not guest friendly and has not been for quite a few years. Unless something has changed in the last month or so I would get an email from the hotel confirming their guest policy and hang on to it.

I disagree with withholding some money as leverage. Withhold all until after services are rendered. That's the custom in CR and any chica who thinks otherwise should be avoided. However, what I find works well is to agree on a base price but offer propina for good service. Most chicas will go the extra mile and give good service, especially if you do your part to make the session enjoyable. But money should only change hands when they are on their way out the door.

Just recently finished a 5 day-trip in San Jose. Pretty much repeated what I did a few months earlier. I stayed at Taormina. Many chicas at night, but be careful choosing them. Many use drug, and are a pain to deal with if you don't lay down your rule clearly with them. Many will play game that promise everything and deliver nothing. Always get them to agree "pay after" never before, or they will try to leave early or deliver lousy services.

San Jose is a good alternation for Colombia, much smaller city, easier to maneuver. And a bid closer to the US. All establishments are no more than 15 min. Taxi ride away, not a bad option for a short trip.

Good report! Agree that it is a good idea to withhold a certain amount of money to use as leverage to get what was agreed upon. You can agree to $60 - $80 as "upfront" payment and a "propina" (tip) for service above and beyond. Those of us who travel there frequent enough, know the girls who give good service and those who just want you to ply them with booze and crap service.

As to the report from CashPit; I don't entirely agree. It sounds like he has had some bad experiences. However, I believe I have encountered the waitress who is always hawking for shots. She hits on a lot of guys, LOL. I buy a bartender or waitress much like a tip; for great service. I look forward to my return in a couple weeks. I'll provide an update then. Stay thirsty my friends.

Went to some massage parlors, slightly older chicas than what you find in Taormina in those better-known establishments, but delivered better services. You will find younger girls working in some private casas a little further out, but some Spanish skill is needed.

I also used Skokka and had some good experiences. Again be careful with the ads there. If the girls don't show their faces, or if their ads have a bad vibe, ignore and move on. Very likely you will be disappointed. Also forget about the ads that are not willing to give you detail info. While soliciting services with the chicas, I received a Whatsapp message from a guy claiming he belongs to the cartel that controls the working girls in Costa Rica. He blamed me for taking too much time from the chicas by asking too many questions, and not using their services. I had the feeling that it was from an ad that the girl presented herself as high end escort, Charged more and answered my questions with an attitude and impatiently. Of course, I deleted the girl and ignored the message from the guy.

Best experience of the trip was delivered by a young girl I met in Sportsmen's Lodge. Not that I need them to, but she speaks perfect English. Claimed that she studied in London for a few years. We spent a couple hours dancing in the Lodge, and I brought her back to Taormina. And got a very steamy service. Sportsmen's Lodge has a more layback vibe. Many girls work back and forth in those 2 places.

San Jose is a good alternation for Colombia, much smaller city, easier to maneuver. And a bid closer to the US. All establishments are no more than 15 min. Taxi ride away, not a bad option for a short trip.
