Medellin to FLL to Denver with Spirit.
My other option has layover for 6 h 41 m, not nice, but no risk to miss the connection.
Thank you.
If you have Global Entry then it is no problem. It takes me less than 5 minutes to clear Customs in FLL.

Cartagena seem to have the drawback of higher (tourist) prices but maybe the benefit of a fun tourist-destination. Right?
Chicas are basically the same in Bogota / Medellin / Cartagena right? Any differences when it comes to safety?
The MDE forum is more active because it's an easier city to access. It has a very pleasant climate (average high about 80 vs Bogota 65). It's not as high altitude as Bogota so most visitors don't need time to adjust as many do with Bogota. It's also not nearly as big as Bogota so it's easier to figure things out.
IMO there's little difference in chica looks between the two cities. But I have limited experience in Bogota so maybe I'm judging from a small sample size. There's certainly more chicas in Bogota as it's a much bigger city.
I also think the Mansion had a lot to do with MDE taking off as a monger destination. It's an easy comfortable place for a new monger to stay, so a lot of guys starting coming here and things just took off.
Cartagena is definitely a worthwhile place to visit as it has some excellent tourist things to do. The chica action is generally a bit more expensive on average than Bogota or Medellin. But still pretty reasonable.

In Medellin chicks whoar off facebook. Foreigners search for and add the hookers to their friends list before they arrive, then when they get there they call the girl to come over for a session and / or to hangout for no less than 150,000 pesos. In Bogota the facebook hooker deal is not a thing.

Weather and Vibe in the city would be strong arguments for to go to Medellin instead.
Prices are different too, Bogota tends to be cheaper with Cartagena on the higher end and Medellin in the middle.

That's like saying that the women in Los Angeles are the same as the ones in New York City. You probably haven't researched Colombia enough to know any differences within the culture and the women. In your mind it's all the same when it actually isn't.

Thanks for sharing the link. Looked up the prices in cigarreiareal and they are much more expensive. I like a drink of Cragganmore or Port Charlotte or Beluga.

It seems like it will take me about 16 hours to fly from (my local airport) to Medellin at a cost of around $1,000, round trip. That seems reasonable. I'd prefer to be on the coast where I can do some (possibly nude) sunbathing. Any recommendations?
Is it safe to travel there when I have a USA passport?
Cartagena is the only beach city with a generous supply of P4P women in Colombia. I don't think you will find any nude beaches there. You may want to look into traveling to St. Maarten. There are some P4P women there from various parts of the world, and the French side (St. Martin) has nude beaches.
It is safe to travel in Colombia, and the people are very nice. Use the same precautions you would in any major city in the US.

Spanish decent but not great. Doesn't tell me much. But unless you are talking about something specific your question is unanswerable. Guide for what? I suppose if you were going through a travel company perhaps there are guides available for various tourist destinations. Don't know.

If you know your Favorite whiskey / vodka can't be found in Bogota then Yes you should either pack bottle (s) in checked bag or buy Duty Free (if available). However, if you know specific liquor/grocery store in Bogota carry your drink then purchase there if price is right.

My company owns a manufacturing facility in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and the last time I went there, they to me took their manufacturing facility in an armored vehicle. It was kind of like when I worked for the Feds when, after the Iraq War ended and I spent some time in the Green Zone to help clean up some oil spills. The US Army met me on the tarmac, rushed me into an armored personnel carrier, and the next thing I knew, I was in Saddam Hussein's palace, now called "The Green Zone. ".I never knew that my company, as small as it is, owned a small army armored personnel carriers. Wow.
Speaking as a person that worked in Iraq I doubt if your company "owned" the vehicle. There are very many up armoured vehicles there with 360 degree video, bullet and bomb proof, radios that talk to anyone in the world, but I digress. I say go and have a blast in Colombia. I really don't understand how people can live in Mexico without their own Army. I lived in San Diego for years and crossed into Tijuana and knew right away I can't do this country very long. WTF! Kaza who! What was that like? Oh, and post in the KAZA section!
