There will never be a time when the average ham and egger 9 to 5 er in America will be like "lets go to Colombia" Because in any war torn country of the past there will always be dangers and 95 % of Americans or even Western Europeans can't handle an environment without extremely government over regulation to protect them from thier own stupidity and familiarity with a McDonalds to spoon feed them at every corner particularly in the US.

So this idea of needing to keep 2nd teir specific safety knowledge a secret aside from general knowledge is stupid. Obviously, there is 1st tier generalized safety knowledge but in an environment where crime is rampant and to a certain extent idealized. 2nd tier specific knowledge is invaluable.
So go, get robbed, tell us where it happened, and we will have more 'second tier specific safety knowledge. ' Or you could RTFF. You say you find people on this thread 'obnoxious. ' So why don't you take a hike?

You bring "extras" to offset your vacation costs.

What do cell phones have to do with vacation costs.

What are the "extras" your talking about?

At face value very thinly veiled it looks as an attempt to preserve "my" safety but really it is an elitest post saying "I don't want to give any guidance because screw new adventures coming to my stomping grounds". Even if more adventurous coordinated and stuck together the experience would be safer.
I think you failed to understand. However, it takes quite a bit of knowledge to grasp the deeper meaning behind "just stay home. ".

Safety, while picking up women for sex, in a foreign country, is a complex issue. Much of it depends on the individual. When people come along seeking simple answers to complex issues they seldom get an appropriate response. It has nothing to do with anyone protecting their hunting ground. It's an unwillingness to spend hours guiding someone through all the information he should have already discovered.

The best information I can give is "read the forum. " You will find answers to questions you didn't know you had. Start building a picture of what it's like. Once you know more you can ask better questions and you'll get better answers.

    Upcoming trip

Having no trouble finding guest friendly airbnbs near Parque LLaras. Usually a 50 k to 70 k fee. Going to book in the next couple of days. My question is, is the Parque area the best to be in for pure sex? Any hotels in the area that are guest friendly. I read that extra guest fees may apply but get no straight answer on how much or how many I can have. Also is there a particular slang for anal sex in Medellin?

Will be there for a week. A hotel I stayed in in Costa Rica, I could run into fellow mongers coming and going and have a beer and tell lies. Any such hotel here. I have heard of the Mansion but am more inclined to search on a larger field.

Hopefully, this is my last post about cell phones for awhile

Gawd knows I can flog a dead horse into dog meat. Done that many times, here.

Your responses tell me a lot. I learn some. I get to see who I believe has some actual experience at this mongering game, perhaps even a little enlightened, open-minded, perceptive, and non-judgmental.

The responses I enjoy the most, as I have said many times, is when a "lurker" comes out of the shadows and makes a constructive comment. That is fun for both parties.

I posted earlier that this was not a serious topic but there is one very serious aspect to it. A point that so far no one has mentioned even briefly in passing.

Chica safety. Every theft I originally described involved either a gun or a knife. Except for the one chica in front of her apartment in Castilla and she got hurt the worst of all of them, rolled by a much bigger, tougher, stronger chica. The robbers in Medellin will shoot you in the face for simply uttering the word, "no" and nothing more. If you take home one message, remember that one.

These phones represent checkerboard pieces in my life. I am not here to impress anyone. There would be a problem if I were engaging in some of the behaviors I described and couldn't pay my mortgage. That's not what is happening here.

Helloooo, McFly! The asinine part to my behavior is that I was putting these chicas at real risk of real physical harm. Girls about whom I care, some of them deeply. That is the core issue.

I was shaken to my core when the chica who got robbed twice once by gun and then by knifepoint showed me a stun-gun she bought to defend herself. I broke down and started crying in front of her which I am prone to do anyway because of my brain injury called PBA which can make me very emotionally labile, at times. I told her she was more likely to get killed or injured from trying to use the stun gun than prevent any actual theft.

I have a friend in MDE who bought his hot novia a moto. Now she's a paraplegic due to a moto accident. He's a stand-up guy, he still takes care of her. I am not sure if I could handle it as well as he does. There is a parallel issue here when my novias are getting repeatedly robbed of phones that I bought them by perps using guns and knives.

This is why I have decided to stop the madness and not continue to repeatedly buy these chicas the iPhones they want, and instead get them the phones that will still get the job done, even if it's not their first choice. You guys did help me with this, here. All of you. Thank you for that. I am not making a financial decision but a chica safety decision. I agree the best Xiaomi Redmi phones are solid with a camera that will rival anything on the market for much cheaper.

Some random gratuitous fotos, celebrating perhaps a wiser man, me: The chica on the moto is Catgirl, my Numero Uno.

    Definitely, Knock Yourself Out

As for overpaying, money is not same for everyone. If Bill Gates came to town and paid a girl $2000 US for two hours, you would say that he overpaid and is a sucker but Bill Gates wouldn't see it that way. He had a great time and the girl went all out for him. For Bill Gates, $2000 is nothing and he would probably feel guilty just giving her $50 for the great time she gave him because he has so much money. Not everyone coming to Medellin is pinching their pennies and living paycheck to paycheck.
If you want to give away new $600 phones by all means do so. The critiques are simply aimed to introduce doses of reality for the reading audience who may be considering but aren't yet committed to these practices. That phone isn't liable to last more than a month before it's stolen, pawned, or sold. Plus it's very doubtful that it will get you much more in the way of service while in many instances it will frame you as gullible and worthy of disrespect. Charity is good though, but even Bill Gates would do well to look elsewhere for that. I'd rather put a bulletproof vest on a Ukrainian. And not everyone who refuses to buy $600 gifts for hookers is pinching pennies, far from it, so scratch that one.

P.S. The Bill Gates P4 P analogy is forced. Billionaires aren't in Medellin hitting up hookers on the street, in clubs or in Facebook. If they buy sex at all they are ordering them up for their yachts in areas like the south of France. But even if they were in Medellin there's no point in paying $2000 an hour or 20 to 40 times the going rate, even if you want her to put in some extra effort. We don't see billionaires going to car lots insisting on paying 40 times the sticker price just because they have more money than they'll ever need. You can bet your life they don't "feel guilty" for paying sticker price. Plus such typically isn't in the DNA of the super rich as they didn't get that status by throwing $ away. It's usually the pretenders that toss money around to draw attention to themselves, are constantly telling everyone how well to do they are, and you'll find plenty of these giving away new IPhones to hookers. But again, knock yourself out and "don't worry" about what guys like me say if your mind is already made up. On that point we are certainly on the same page. Wink.

Phone theft and black market phones are an epidemic in Medellin. That is one of the main functions you see the policia doing during random stops. They are checking for stolen phones using the IME number. I have posted about this before and have been with a chica who was with me and Catgirl during a routine policia check, and then carted off to jail because the super-cheap phone she bought from a vendor off the street did not show her as the registered owner.

Like Vitrea, I am not suggesting anyone else buy these chicas two cups connected by a piece of string. I have often said, the happiest mongerer is what I somewhat disparingly refer to as a "wet mudhole fucker" because they are satisfied with the least, but that's not me. Don't fault me for what works for me. I am having too much fun. Well, I was having fun until I returned to Pussy Prison.

Like if they are getting thrown out of a place or someone in hospital etc. I had couple of girls tell me after they sold the phones I gave them. They were too embarrassed to tell me before that they need to sell a gift. For many of these girls, a good quality phone is almost their entire net worth. Parting with it is not easy.

FYI, the sudden birthday, a fairly common and routine little con for money

Unlike chicas with whom I have developed long term relationships, GZGTZ (Ground Zero Go-to-Girl) was new this last trip, pure puta, great sessions, never came to my hotel room, and accepted payment below FMV (Fair Market Value). I will include a few fotos.

She Whassaps me every day since I left a week ago. After a day or two, she starts saying that she has no money for food. I ask her what happened to all the money I gave her from our sessions and she said she used it to pay off debt. And get a new tattoo, I noticed.

I tell her no, not one peso. Not so amazingly, the next day she tells me her birthday is the following day and asks me if will I gift her? A lot of new girls will try this basic ploy especially if you repeat on them. Pretty obvious little con but worth it for them to try it in case they catch a beginner or a softie. I tell her to send me a foto of the front and back of her cedula (government ID) which is what you always want to see before considering any birthday "gifts".

She says she will but after two more days the cedula is a no-show. I ask her why and now she says her sister has it. I tell her is she ever wants to see me again to stop treating me like a stupid gringo. I tell her the only chance she has of seeing another peso from me is in person, after sex. She asks when? I tell her I don't know. She is not a chica I can trust, yet, if ever, and she gets treated accordingly. She writes she will wait for me.

I totally agree that what I do is rare and nor am I not saying that others should do what I do. Not at all. Like I said, it is my long game strategy. I would guess that less than 5% of the members here are into the long game. So for most people what I wrote may be irrelevant. It is just information. I didn't know anyone that does what I do until I read Osteoknot's post. This is a discussion forum so I was just sharing my own thoughts and tipping my hat to him.

The girls I am extra generous to are friends and not girlfriends. I actually tell them, . "Amigos con beneficios" and they get it. I have another life outside of Medellin. I am too busy to get involved in their private life. They can fuck who and when they want. So no illusions or delusions there. I do expect them to be somewhat available the days that I am in Medellin. I expect them to learn English and I give them resources and coach them. 30% follow through but I don't hold it against the ones that don't. I give them life advice if they ask. I have IG or FB as backup in case of number changes or robberies. And BTW, super majority of robbery stories are true. It is extremely common in the barrios. It is so common that the girls get sad but not angry. Please don't assume that girls are lying. Some do sell their gifted phones and that is out of pure desperation. Like if they are getting thrown out of a place or someone in hospital etc. I had couple of girls tell me after they sold the phones I gave them. And l don't care what a friend does with my gift as long the friendship lives.

BTW, The principal message in my post is friendship before gifts. "You give gifts to friends. You don't become friends because of gifts. " - Vitrea. Ja ja.

That's very unusual in this game though, graduating from paid to "free," or all the sex plus their friends that you want for an Iphone. I'm confident this is very rare though, regardless of any anecdotes we may read here. Gifts are just that in the mind of a Latin hooker. You get a "mucho gracias" most likely then are charged the same for any sex going forward while they will become much less shy about asking for more gifts, material or monetary.

There's also the issue of them dropping off the radar as many lose their phones and pick up new numbers or abandon their FB accounts in lieu of new ones. Would suck to give away a $600 new IPhone then find yourself unable to reach them. Plus how long do you think that phone is going to last? If it's not stolen (big if) then in most cases it won't last beyond the next crisis at which time it's sold or pawned. Most have a crisis a month if not more.

Lastly, though there are always rare exceptions to all rules, the typical guy who thinks these girls are his friends is abundantly deluded. "This one is different," no, she almost surely is not. And yes, guys like myself who don't roll that way have a lot of fun like many others but avoid some avoidable headaches. Girls may like some guys who give them whatever they want, but they don't respect them. And even any personally liking will go down the shitter the moment the goodies stop flowing. So that's the other side of the argument, that has a place in an open forum as well.

    Enjoy gentlemen.

You don't need any Spanish to have sex in Medellin. But basic Spanish is a must to have fun in Medellin. For the first few trips and for many people sexy equals fun so you're good. After that when you become a regular to Medellin, then you'll want to and start to have fun beyond the already amazing sex. And for that you need some Spanish. Of course that is pretty much true these days of Google translate, in any part of the world.

The Facts about cell phones in Medellin

Oste really tries to help the new mongers. His stories seem so outlandish that they couldn't possibly be true? I have had the honor of hanging with him many times in Centro. I can tell you he was never in danger and I know danger in centro. The girls who I saw him with and the people who I saw him around posed no threat to him. They really treated him with respect and his is not a big brawny guy, he just knows how to handle himself around people and they respond respectfully to Oste.

I am posting the price of many of the phones in Medellin so that you can see the true value of a phone when you look at it from a Centro Rat's perspective. For kicks and giggles lets say you bought 40 phones into Colombia at a price tag of $1000 usd. Lets say you were able to sell everyone or if you were to trade every one or if you got robbed for a few, would it really matter?

I can personally tell you that I had a girl whom I really liked to keep a suitcase for me, so that I wouldn't have to travel with my suitcase on future trips. I was also testing her to see if she would steal the suitcase. Just as sure as Tuesday comes after Monday, I never saw the suitcase again and the suitcase had 8 brand new cell phones in the suitcase. Was I mad, no, did I bang the chic any more after that? Yes, but I never gave her an opportunity to have access to anything she could steal from me.

Now as Oste likes to say, Pollo, you are a true business man, I we have a running joke between us both. I just like to earn money when it is right in my face. So, imagine for every $25 usd you spend, someone pays you $175-$200 usd and you are saving them more than 50% on the price of the item in Colombia.

I won't beat a dead horse or explain the obvious, but there are some of us who are having a ton of fun in Medellin at a minimal price. I have been traveling to Colombia for 5 years, I now own a home, motorcycle, soon to buy a car, and who knows what is next. I paid attention, learned, paid my dues and stayed within the laws of Colombia and Medellin. If the loss of a couple of cell phones will have your underwear in a not, maybe you shouldn't be in the mongering game. You win some and you lose some. But you don't have to call your friendly board member a lie, because you are not able to accomplish what he is! Pollo Negro is out!

I think many of them may sell them for money or had an old cheap phone and want someone to buy them a new expensive one. Or they are just so fkn tonta and careless because they didn't spend their own money to buy it. You would think that they know a new iPhone or equivalent is a target so you would think they would hide it rather than show it off. That's one thing everyone here knows and says as advice. Carry a cheap phone or don't show what you have. Don't give the papaya. Another one is a cam girl who will tell you she got robbed on payday. All ploys to get free money or gifts in my whatever it's worth opiniand. I have given an old iPhone that I bought for a $100 for traveling away and it was well worth it. Once again, I just can't believe they all get their phones stolen and have so much sickness in their family.
