I've been traveling to MDE nearly every month for the last year. Inbound to MDE I've had to show the Check-Mig form 0% of the time to the airline and about 20% of the time to immigration. Outbound from MDE, I've had to show it 100% when going through immigration and 0% of the time to the airline. Could be the low incident of showing it inbound is because I have it in my hand when I hand over my passport and the officer doesn't bother because they see I have it. And I completely agree the website is a piece of crap.

It's the worst, I wouldn't worry too much. If it says you completed it take a photo of that and show it to anyone who asks. I once canceled my trip 2 years ago because of that fucking form. I just got back from Colombia 10 days ago. No one even asked me for the form in Colombia to or from Colombia. I think the computer in Immigration shows you completed it. Go, don't worry you'll be fine.

I had problems last year both ways of my trip. Flew COPA and at checkin they had me retry there and it finally worked. The gal in MDE helped me. But no MGE, no boarding. Yes, the foto should work as mentioned by LL. Seems MIG is like a Lotto whether it works or not. Going down my flight got canceled due to plane and I was already checked in But next day at check the new checkin person said no MIG even though I had it the day before. Nothing makes sense or is the same from day to day or agent to agent.

Wait 24 hours and try again.

I had a similar issue where the travel date kept defaulting to the current date instead of the actual travel date 72 hours ahead. Kept giving me and error that I already submitted the info. I ended up having to do it on the morning of the flight before going to the airport and everything went through.

Some months ago there was a discussion about various lubricants, and Vaseline was mentioned. Long ago I was told petroleum jelly as a lubricant posed a health risk for women. Whether or not that's correct I don't know. Don't care. There are better lubricants when the natural one isn't enough and it's simple enough to be prepared.

One thing that was mentioned was the effect of petroleum jelly on condoms. That's the issue which might matter more.

Right now I have some skin healing on one of my fingers and to help protect the new skin I'm using finger cots. Finger cots are heavy duty, finger sized condoms. I'm also using Vaseline to keep the skin moist and pliable. Within a few minutes of the latex coming into contact with the petroleum jelly it loses much of its elasticity and changes its texture.

With the ultra thin condoms which are available I'm certain breakage would be much more common.

I don't remember exactly what the XE was when I first went to Colombia but I think it was around 1500/1600 to USD. At that time I was mongering mostly with prepagos and paying something like 200,000 more or less for top talent in Tourist Traps like Lylos etc and was around $125 at the old XE.

Now even if a girl wants 300,00 it's around $66 usd. At the current XE no matter how you shake it, it's good for us.

Wonder what's in store for the dollar? Everything I read is a negative outlook for the dollar and if that will impact the COP / USD situation. I may be living in Colombia next year so trying to decide on a future budget for Colombia is dicy at best. I'd be interested in what any of our Wharton grad. Members have to say on the subject.

Feds going to bump the rate 75 points again next month most likely.

My friend is unable to swallow and as a result he must constantly spit into a cup. This can be a bit nauseating for some people. Looking for suggestions on where to take him. I know someone will hang with him, but would like for him to have the best experience possible. Any suggestions would be highly appreIciated.

Sorry to read this about your friend. Most casas have a 30 to 60 minute time limit. If your friend could restrain from spitting for that time it would greatly help him, this could be a problem anywhere in the world. A suggestion would be to take in some cotton in the mouth to absorb the saliva for a quick casa session and just not saying anything to the girl. Good luck.

Ok so after one week of LatinamericCupid, my inbox is filled. I would say 30-40% look like fake profiles and I got a few from Brazil that gave me their email and obvious fake after I gave them my burner email. Lot of fake profiles from Brazil. Maybe 25% Colombian messages I get are the homely a bit overweight type, but cute. They seem to be looking for the lottery out of Colombia to the US and really want an American husband. They are sweet but seem very desperate. Ok, to chat with but not what I'm looking for when I visit. I found a few cute 40 ish type girls that seem real and are hot. The chats are brief and cutesy. The other thing I am seeing are a ton of Dominican women sending me messages; some AA. I really don't have any desire at this point to visit DR but maybe in the future. The site is a bit overwhelming w / so many women emailing and having to filter through fake profiles. The girls that really want to chat again are the homely type. Nice to chat with but I can only imagine the cling-on situation if I visited. The site takes some time investment but it is fun.

Just another update on LatinaAmerica cupid. So there are actually some real girls on there. I chatted with one average type girl and she chatted my head off. Quite nice but I could feel the desperation. I was kind of feeling it out to get the feel if she was an actual real person and she was. I'm sure some of these girls really want to escape from a very difficult life where they are. I'm not looking for hookers on that particular site, but again I'm not looking for a wife either LOL. Will keep searching to find something in between.
