I stayed at the Column Bangkok Hotel and liked it.
https://www.columnbangkok.com/
Pros:
Good location, one block from Asok station (Terminal 21 mall) and Soi Cowboy.
24/7 Foodland downstairs, a diner and grocery / convenience store.
Girl-friendly, they don't ask anything at the front desk.
Big, clean rooms, with a washer / dryer in-room.
Reasonable cost, about $60 USD per night.
Housekeeping is super responsive.
Breakfast buffet is good.
Cons:
They only give you 2 bath towels, but you can always request more.
Only 3 working elevators, so sometimes there is a wait.

Posts: 997Sukhumvit Suites (formerly S Sukhumvit Suiites)
I am posting this at the request of another forum member on the Bangkok Reports forum. I have stayed at Sukhumvit Suites many times. It's a good budget hotel with an outstanding Terminal 21/ Soi Cowboy / MRT / BTS location. The Superior rooms are smaller but very modern. The only downside to the superior rooms is they don't have a handy place to store your suitcase (s) The deluxe rooms are older but much larger. You will always get their lowest rate by either walking in or calling the hotel directly when you are in Bangkok. The rates on their website are often much higher than the walk in or telephone rates.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm hoping others will respond to your question since many of us travel with wingmen.

Hi all, l I have stayed in Nana many times and wonder why no one comments on this hotel. Comfortable rooms and decent food. Not overly expensive around 1500 baht. I have never had any issues.
So long.

Novotel and ibis styles.
Both are in the same tower on soi 4 . Great location for action in the street. But it's hell trying to get taxi or grab and the wait is for very. Both are girl friendly as nearly all hotels in bkk but every so often the sign some girls in and some not.
Ibis regular.
Very basic but clean. The building is showing it's age but the price so super cheap. Worth staying a night or two because near the action but not more than that.
You don't stay on soi 4 to relax.
