Frogg,
I was going to meetup with a few fellow Tijuana vets this Saturday including Solo but our line of communication got crossed up and we seem to have missed one another although I think we were in some of the same places possibly at the same time. I am a newbie of sorts to the Tijuana scene and was trying to get some pointers from so of the vets on this forum. I hear there might be another trip meetup trip planned in the coming weeks I might try and be part of that one maybe we can link up.

Posts: 6535Frogg is a good wingman to hang out with in Tijuana. We always have fun together.
HK girls were way to aggressive as usual. They kept coming over pushing for fichas and I had to turn them down again and again. I only buy fichas for girls I am interviewing to take to the hotel. I would not waste time and money on girls who do not meet my minimum criteria for beauty and grace, then have to spend time looking at pictures of their kids and their fogs hehe. A few girls I know are just so beautiful that I would huy fichas for them just to hold them in my arms and look at them up close. Then they would grope my crotch trying to arouse me so I have to take them to the hotel.
On Saturday a few bros showed up later, but I did no know their plans, and had no internet inside HK for communication. It's fun to hang out with the bros, trade girls' intels and strategies on how to get the sexiest times with them.
Later on we met up with another bro in HK, a Tijuana veteran who has been going for more than 10 years. It was my first time meeting him, we compared notes, sharing useful tidbits of information while enjoying the atmosphere of the club. I encourage guys to meet up, be social and support, to maximize the good time.

Posts: 117Trip Report Sat 9.24.22. Fun in La Zona
Headed out early in the morning from Orange County to San Diego to catch the Miramar Air Show. I was excited about this event since I was going with our friend Captain Solo who is a former airplane pilot. I had never talked to him about his experiences with planes, so on the way to the show I picked his brain about flying airplanes and the conversation was very good. He is a wealth of knowledge!
Once at the Miramar show, the vehicle lines were very long to get in. Making the best of the situation, we found a nearby parking lot next to a sparsely grassed field with some tree shade, and we set a picnic to enjoy the show from afar. We got to hear the roar of an F-35 as it did maneuvers, an impressive roar indeed. This parking lot was also a pick up spot for navy personnel and we interacted with some of them as they came and went dressed in their navy ceremonial uniforms.
By the afternoon we hopped the border to Tijuana to inspect the troops at the HK and Chicago clubs. The uniforms of these lady troopers were much skimpier than those of the US navy personnel, but we were not complaining, hehe.
As I walked around the HK club, a cute recruit in a school girl outfit reached out to me and I obliged, doing a hands-on inspection of her goods and assets. I reached into my pocket and gave her what I thought was a dollar. As I walked away, I notice her face light up with joy. Moments later, I realize that I had given her a 5 $ bill instead of a 1 $ dollar bill!
Sitting down at a table with the crew, enjoying Tecates and Bohemias, a hot stripper in a blue dress gets on stage above us, and proceeds to do a smashing pole dance, every now and then holding eye contact with me. The way she moved was dazzling! I tipped her a dollar, but really should have given HER the 5 $ dollars instead.
When the dance was over, she went out of sight. I searched the club looking to buy her a ficha drink and get to know this fine soldier, but when located she was already with some guys at a table. Hopefully, I get to see her again on another tour of duty, and give my appreciation of her beauty and dance, an image now seared into my mind.
Next we went to the Chicago Club, had more Tecates and Behemias, enjoying more stripper shows. They had some good dancers in Chicago as well, with a more relaxed vibe.
We decided to head out for a seafood restaurant. As we crossed the street on the corner of Ave Constitucion and CL Cohalila going west, some shots rang out on the opposite corner, it was four or five gunshots. A guy jumped into a waiting car which sped off. I didn't bother to get closer for more details, instead continued on our way to enjoy an amazing lunch at the seafood place (the food is so good in Tijuana!)
The shooting happened in front of Hotel Acapulco or Hotel Rapido. I've had many hot sessions with chicas who stand in front of these hotels, including earlier that day, and will continue to do so until I am the one who drops dead, hehe.
Later on we met up with another bro in HK, a TJ veteran who has been going for more than 10 years. It was my first time meeting him, we compared notes, sharing useful tidbits of information while enjoying the atmosphere of the club. I encourage guys to meet up, be social and support, to maximize the good time.
We left Tijuana as the sun was setting, not yet dark. Surprisingly the pedestrian line was not long, barely starting at the hall entrance. The line moved quickly, and it was a smooth ride home.
Thank you Captain Solo and La Zona for another emotion filled, action packed trip!

I have taken the trolley from old town a few times recently. Taking trolley from old town is a very low cost & fairly quick way to travel to the border, I find that it only takes 10-20 minutes to longer to reach the border. The only big downside is that the trolley only runs till 12:59 am.
FMM.
I have also noticed recently that the Mexican immigration officals have have stopped their scan and are no longer charging non-Mexican citizens $30 for the visa. They are making people stand in line for a one day Visa. They have a new one that is tan now. Now technically you are supposed to get the old white ones stamped. So I might ask if I can get a white one stamped the next time I cross.

Posts: 6535Miramar Airshow Friday-Sunday: September 23-25
We arrived at Miramar about 10 AM. Lines at both West and East gates were over a mile long and not moving. Looks like public interests in the airshow was very high after 2-year CoVid hiatus and also the war in Ukraine. Base was open at 8 and lots of people got in early. It was likely cars could not be directed to parking areas fast enough so traffic inside the base was back up, unlike previous year when we could just drive in quickly and parked on the tarmac.
After waiting a while we decided to drive out to I15 to watch the F-35 B demo from the freeway. For my aviation-inclined bros, the demo was significant because the rest of the free world, all NATO countries, Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, I e most of Europe, except France, plus Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore ect are all banking on the F35 as the spear head to protect their territories in the coming war. These countries are banking on VTOL capabilities to operate the planes on smaller carriers, also to hide and protect their assets away from obviously vulnerable airbases against preemptive strikes and operate out of high ways in case of war.
The F35 B put on a very impressive demo flight with VTOL, lots of hovering and low speed flights. Stealth features will help it evade first shots and strike long range hits against incoming threats. The smallest turning circle at low speed was about 5,000-feet diameter. It does not have the agility of the best dog fighters like F-22.
It's fantastic the airshow is right next door to Tijuana where we went for cold beers and hot girls after a day of hard work hehe.

Quick question:
What board here has the hotel information?
I don't see a board named such.
Yes, I intend to RTFF but if someone would be so kind as to narrow it down for me, I would appreciate it.

With all that said, the big Caliente casino in the Agua Caliente section of Tijuana I thought was a pretty nice casino so maybe I'll check that one out on Sunday. But maybe the Pueblo Amigo location suggested earlier caters more to American customers since it's so close to the border?

You might want to go to Caliente casinos. They serve drinks, have cold AC when it is humid, and usually crowds of sports fans to talk to about which teams to bet on. There are two Caliente Casinos on Revo, but the one next to Sanborns has an upstairs football lounge with lounger chairs, big screens and sometimes free beer and snacks brought to you during big games. The problem with watching sports in HK is the constant distractions (meseros demanding you buy drinks and chicas demanding $1) and loud music so you can't hear the TV discussion of the NFL plays. Which is likely common with most bars outside Zona Norte.

Any suggestions on bars outside Zona Norte to watch NFL? Whether that be bars on Revolucion (probably the most convenient) or otherwise?

Posts: 6535Miramar Airshow Friday-Sunday: September 23-25
This show is worth tens of millions $ with the best and most powerful weapon systems being deployed by US Marines, Navy and Airforce, far more exciting than looking up the long legs and hot crotches of strippers, should not be missed.
The stars of the show are US Marines' F-35 B at 11 AM, US Marines air / ground strike at 1 PM, US Air force F-22 at 2 PM and Navy's F / A -18 Blue Angels at 3. An you-2 will have a fly by on Friday then will be on static display, plus lots of jet and prop planes, helicopters and drones will be on static display and of course lots of hot, sweet, spicy local chicas will be out loving caressing the long, big and powerful war planes.
Cheapest Grand Stand ticket is $19 this year, but we would just sit for free on the taxi way and watch the show. Beers and food are sold at many booths but the lines are long, so it's best to bring your own food and drinks so you don't miss out on any part of the show.
A couple bros are going down, spend the day at the airshow then hop over the border for an official all night inspection of the troops in Hong Kong, Tropical, Adelita, Chicago. Come down for an exciting show then have some serious fun with hot chicas.
