If you want to play it Real safe. Just go between Chavellas and HK (inside the HK bar) and for a nice break you can go over to Azuls restaraunt by outside the front door. Then walking up the stairs into the Cascadas hotel to the third floor and walk all the way across to the back of the hotel (while inside the hotel) down a flight of stairs and into Azuls restaurant on the 2nd floor that looks over the notorious alley where all the street hookers (Paraditas) and drug dealers hang out doing their thing..
Safety is really a relativity issue. How one area is safer than the other, but cannot be really categorized as a safe area by itself. IMO, the path between the 3 clubs, plus the alley is probably the safest in the Zona Norte. Then followed by Alley. On the other hand, men have been murdered in these two locations. If you want to be really safe, don't wander around until you see a lot of military patrol. Cops don't really mean shit in the Zona Norte. I take that back. Cops do wear body armor so they work well as a shield.

Is it safe? Nothing is safe in Tijuana. If you already walk around in front of Hong Kong, just walk to that corner. There's chciago waiters who stand there and walk clients to the bar, do across the street. They then get the drink for you. Be careful crossing the street due to cars. Don't talk to anyone at all not even for 1 second. It's hard to get into trouble if you can discipline yourself to not stop moving your feet and don't talk to anyone. Comming back, I've done it 300 times. But nobody can guarantee you anything. That corner is where I met a guy, while my head was gushing blood, who told me "don't go telling the policia about the dudes who rolled you because I'll tell them and they will return for you". That corner, across the street is also major drug dealers, major cop bust gringo conrer, also trans woman now work there. Basically it's dangerous. Chicago Club has a limo ask one fo the guys to walk you back to Hong Kong for 5 bucks. They will be happy. Or ask a waiter in Chicago. A lot of someone's perception of, or definition of safe, really depends on how much risk they find acceptable. Like someone with kids and pets and a good career and a nice house should take more caution than others.

From one old fat gringo to another, the stretch between the alley (HK, Adelitas) it's about as safe as in front of HK. But I wouldn't go past Chicago.

    VIP's room discount in Cascada

Book the room now to make sure it's reserved.

When you arrive at HK, go to front desk and buy the VIP card, $60 good for 3 months. Even if you pay with cash, HK will want to copy your real IDs, so only the card holder and not just everyone could use the card for discounts and free drinks as happened before. I hate that shit. Potentially if someone is pissed off at you, he can send sicarios to your front door.

When you Check in Cascada, wait until they confirm your room, then spring the VIP card for the discount. That way you can be sure to get your room plus discount without any bullshit. Pay day by day or reception may forget you prepaid.

But I found Cascada has been straight with its reservations and discounts. On busy holidays, reception may say all rooms booked, but guys who know reception and management can always get rooms at the last minute. Just tip reception and security guys a few bucks to make friends as they work 10-hour day for $15 and appreciate tips.

Oh cool. That's changed. I've gotten crap before for it, so I always walked into HK to get the card made and then booked the room.

    2) Again it's all based on preference and what you're looking for, but Cascadas is very widely considered the "best" hotel. Seems to be the most modern and well-run with the most "amenities". Very far from a 4 or 5 star hotel room but the rooms are perfectly fine, relatively cheap, and serve their purpose. Depending on how long you stay, it might be worth buying the $60 VIP card, which gets you 20% off the hotel rate on weekends, a free drink every day, and a few other discounts.

If you're staying at Cascadas, the combination of the room discount, not paying a Short Time room fee, and the free drink every day, the card pays for itself on the first trip. There's been reports here that the HK girls tend to stay a bit longer if you have an Overnight Room. There's a bunch of disagreement as to why that is, but make sure to mention to the girls in the club that you have your own overnight room when you're negotiating rates, time and services.

You have some options, you can Fly into Tijuana's Airport and get an Airport Taxi to HK. Don't be shy about asking them to take you there, and don't take any bullshit about them telling you there's a better place. On the way back, take one of the Taxis that park outside of HK to the Airport and tip them well. Those guys pay to park outside of HK for fares.

If you're flying into San Diego, it's the same thing. Uber or figure out the train setup to get to the land crossing at San Ysidro. Once you cross there's going to be a huge line of Taxis, and have them drop you off at Hong Kong. Then when you want to leave, have them drop you off at PED East (I don't think Ped West is Open), and give yourself plenty of time to cross. Plan on standing in line for about 2 hours. You can use the Border Patrols website to give yourself an idea of what the wait time is going to be like, but Sunday is going to be rough, especially if you're trying to make a PM flight out of San Diego.

Hey I plan on walking around and exploring. Initially I wanted to do HK Chicago Adelitas and staying at cascadas but I want th option of taking a street girl or outcall to my room. If I can't do that at cascadas where do I go / stay?

Where do street girls go generally when you pick them up? Same for outcalls is it an issue at cascadas?
Do your walking around and exploring during the day. That's the best piece of advice I can give you. Once it gets dark, the area around HK is well lit, and everything else is not, and it gets very, very sketchy.

Escorts won't come to the Zona, so you're kind of out of luck there. Street girls all stand in front of whatever hotel they use. If you have an overnight room at Cascadas, you can usually negotiate and get them to come up to your room if you tip them extra. Some will come up, some won't. Cascadas is one of the few (if not only) hotel that checks IDs of the girls, so if she refuses to come up to Cascadas, that's usually a red flag IMO. Most of the girls standing around Cascadas / HK should not have an issue. There's only 2 hotels I like using with Street Girls. Cascadas where I usually have a room, or the Ibiza which is at the other end of the alley next to the Malquerida. Both of these places are owned by HK Group and I've never had an issue with the cleanliness of the rooms. There's been other shit-hole hotels where I've gone and I feel like I need to take a shower immediately when I set foot in them. It always messes with my experience, so I try and stay out of them. You're going to pay the room cost wherever you go, so you may as well try to negotiate with the girl that she gets the full cost of the room if she just comes to your overnight room at Cascadas. Some will take it, some will negotiate for more, and some just won't.

Outcalls you need to take to a love hotel, or a hotel outside of the Zona which is girl friendly. Hotel Ticuan is the best, but there are small hotels around downtown that will work. When you talk to the agencies to set up a meeting, they'll tell you where they can send the girls and where they can't.

Also, would like to add I appreciate all of you for responding and tending to my questions even if they were annoying / repetitive. Truly, I appreciate it even if it's not the best most accurate info, at least you're trying to give af. Tia

I Plan on staying there overnight so idk if walking with luggage is the best idea?
Travelers in the SENTRI program can go through car lanes that allow them to get through the border much faster than non-Sentri people. Since you don't know what non-Sentri is, you're pretty much certainly non-Sentri so you'd have to go through the non-Sentri car lanes, which can take up to a few hours from what I hear (I've never crossed by car to or from Mexico so I wouldn't know).

I'd recommend walking across. Wait times are highly variable but don't think you'd have to spend more than an hour or two in the pedestrian line. At least for me, it's been several years since I've had to wait more than 90 minutes in the pedestrian line, even when the lines appeared to be super long.

I personally always give myself about a 6 hour lead time prior to my flight out of San Diego to leave HK and I've ever had issues getting to the airport on time. Usually I'm able to get to the airport way before the flight departs (2 or 3 hours before) and I pretty much always take the trolley / bus to the airport. Since you have a car, you'd probably get to the airport even faster.

I've never had any issues taking luggage to Cascadas. Cascadas does perform a light search of your luggage when you get there. Don't know if the other hotels do this.

    Driving In

If you drive in, and avoid the afternoon rush hour, there will be no southbound wait at the border. And it's anybody's guess whether crossing northbound is quicker on foot or by car.

If you drive in, be sure to have Mexican car insurance. Your American insurance is not valid in Mexico, and the legal consequences for driving without insurance are far more dire than they are here. And always park in lots with attendants.

Most of the mongers on this board walk in. Those who drive usually do so because they need their car for more than short trips between the border, the hotel, and the zona.

I got a trip there lined up and will have the pleasure of being there Fri and Sat. I got some questions that are kind of specific and my general ones have been answered by reading.

1 is hotel cascadas worth it? Fairly cheap and right there LOL what's better? I hear you have to pay a fee to bring a girl up? How much and would I have to do it every time. Street girls / outcalls count too?

    2. Is there a better hotel than cascadas?

    3. I was thinking Airbnb or Velario hotel. Do the club girls / street girls have preference to love hotel or Airbnb / Velario.

    4. Any recommended massage parlors.

    5. Best underrated small club not HK or Adelitas or Chicago.

    6. I'm thinking of driving and parking there wherever safe ofc. Good idea bad idea? Thoughts?

    7. Website for outcalls?

Help a monger out and I'll report back.

Thanks in advance and feel free to PM.
    1) Everyone will have their own favorites but Cascadas is very widely considered the "best" hotel in Zona Norte with HK being widely considered the "best" club. You'd of course have to make your own assessment once you get there based on your own preferences. If you're staying at the hotel, no, there's no fee to bring a girl up unless you keep the girl for over an hour, which I think is when the "bar fines" start kicking in. If you're not staying at the hotel I believe you'd only have to pay $30 per 30 minutes to rent a short-term room, though they might also force you to buy some drinks for that time (not sure on that). But if you're staying at the hotel, you wouldn't have to worry about any fees unless you keep the girl over an hour.

I can't answer the street girls / outcalls question directly as I have no experience with that but in my experience (most recently just a couple of weeks ago when I was in Tijuana) I've been able to bring outside girls from other clubs up to my room at Cascadas with no issues and I don't think there are any time limits on those girls (since they don't work at HK).

    2) Again it's all based on preference and what you're looking for, but Cascadas is very widely considered the "best" hotel. Seems to be the most modern and well-run with the most "amenities". 3) Never stayed at an airbnb in Tijuana or Velario so can't speak to this but for a first-timer would recommend staying at Cascadas as it's more in the center of the action than the other options. Kind of like if you're a Vegas first-timer it's probably best to stay on the Strip (I. E. , in the center of the action) your first time, then venture out to other spots on future visits as you gain experience and become more familiar with the area.

    4) No experience with this so can't comment.

    5) As a first-timer would focus primarily on those 3 (see my Vegas Strip analogy above). Opinions on the other smaller clubs might widely vary. Tropical, which is affiliated with HK (and right across the street from HK), might be the next best club, though I don't know that it's necessarily considered a "small" club. I like Hotel Korea (which is also affiliated with HK) mainly for its cheap beers. Have never picked up any chicas there though there are some available. La Malquerida is also a fun club a lot of times on weekends.

    6) Would not recommend driving in, especially as a first timer. Would recommend parking your car at one of the nearby trolley stations (where parking is free), take a $2. 50 trip on the trolley down to the San Ysidro stop, and walk across on foot. There are also lots right at the border where you can park, but those are going to be more expensive. IMO, too much shit to worry about taking your car into another country.

    7) No experience with this so can't comment.

You need to cross back into USA by 11 incase its a 3 HR line. If you go between black Friday and Christmas it is 3 times worse the line. Most street girls will go to Cascadas even if it costs you 5 to 7 more. Probably worth it because the street girls don't have sheets usually just bed cover that everyone bangs on. Outcall girls won't go to cascades in most cases. Maybe you want a hotel on revukucion if that's important to you. Then you can't take street girls to your room though. Keep in mind street girls version of sex in most cases is nothing like a USA sex worker or even a HK sex worker. The street girl version is gona be a lot of "don't touch this part, don't lick that part, if my clothes come off it's more money, and most importantly they do not laugh, act like they are having fun, or tell you they love you and want to be your friend. They generally zone out mentally and its a poor experience if you compare I'm to a slurry Hong Kong or Chicago girl. The only street girls I've done in years are girls I've known for a while and who are nice girls and if I say Hello, to the 30 times in a row eventually I'll take them to the hotel. Sometimes I just pay them some money for talking to me because they are nice girls. Many times I don't have sex because you don't want my body touching that bed and there's usually no shower although I remember the Ibiza rooms having a shower. I need a shower after touching these beds.

On Fridays I heard it's very long. Any day after work is usually some sort of wait. People need to remember most rentals can't go to mexixo and your suposed to have Mexican car insurance which is expensive, its certainly more money per day than just parking in San diego.
