Sadly The Hill in Itaewon is not what it used to be. I've been there a few times the last weeks and not more than 3-4 places are open, not much to choose from. Quickish field report.

Fairly easy to find. Exit Seoulung MRT at exit 4. Walk forward along the street past one junction and then at the second junction, turn left at the lotto store. It's a uphill road and Lyra is only about 20 metres on the right hand side. The building does resemble a castle.

Based on my experience it's Caucasian friendly, but they definitely put a hefty foreigner tax on top. I was quoted 400 for an hour standard service. After much bargaining I negotiated it down to 350 k which is probably at least 150 k higher than a local would pay. Normally I would pass but as I wanted to check out an anma and as South Korea completes my Asia panini sticker bonk book (well except for the North Korea and Brunei unicorn cards) I threw qpr out of the window and agreed.

I defiantly didn't get the same experience as locals. I was asked to wait in ground floor ante room where locals walked in and past into what looked like a shower area. I waited about 20 minutes and saw guys wander in and then our in shower robes. After 20 minutes the guy who first told me the pricing stricture came back and beckoned me to go directly upstairs to the rooms.

They may accept other forms of ID, but I can't definitively say whether they will or won't. Maybe someone with experience can chime in. Has anyone sent a photo of their passport or other form of ID?

For vetting, I have also been asked to send business cards and was once asked to send a screenshot of my workplace's Kakao chatroom. I don't know why, but I felt like these requests were too intrusive and so I declined to proceed further with those particular shops.

Hey ya'll. It's been like 3 years since I was last in South Korea. Wondering if places like Belle Massage or Cool Massage are still around? I can't for the life of me remember this one place in Gangnam that took foreigners but it was around Gangnam and you had options. It was in a basement of a car park.

The base course was a young woman washes your junk, sucks you off and then an older less attractive lady comes and gives you a decent massage. A more expensive one has a lady come, blow you, then you get a solid massage and another lady comes and blows you again.

Thanks for this review, I've never tried the 1 lady shops as they're so ambiguous as to what's offered I didn't want to waste my time. I don't spend hardly any time in gangnam but this might be worth a trip.
