8- 11 pm is an excellent time to visit Carolina's. I try to avoid staying later than 1 am for security reasons (but I may be exaggerating the risks). Parking up close is always sound advice.

A little trick is to arrive a little earlier (say 7 pm) and have a snack at the Chinese restaurant (I hope it still there!) next to Carolina's. It has better lighting than the bar, so you will have a better look. At that time the ambience is quite chill, with sleepy but giggling chicas arriving from the siesta getting ready for the night. The clubs generally do not allow women into the clubs.

You might ask the bartender if your wife will be allowed inside (I doubt it). However, there is nothing to prevent you from picking out a chica or two and taking them home. Carolina's has the smallest multa for takeout.

The evenings can be expensive to pay for a chica. You might try in the afternoon, the rates are lower.

You can also try between 4 and 8 PM when the chicas have free time.
