I've been to Bogota several times but never over Christmas around Dec. 20 to 30. I'm guessing the clubs are pretty dead with all the girls going back to their families, but just wanted to get first hand info on this. I'm pretty free to go anywhere in the world those last two weeks, so if anyone knows a good place over this time period let me know. It may be better to just stay home and save money for a later trip.

Usually it is busy from December 20-23 one last chance for the girls to make Christmas money and then they vanish until January.

Newbie, finally made it to Colombia. Flew in to Bogota for an overnight before continuing on to Cartagena the next day. Not much exciting to report as I did not get to check out Santa Fe or setup a Woodman tour, and had limited time. I will do that next time.

Got in at 8 pm. It was 10 pm by the time I got thru immigration and horrendous traffic. Stayed at Estelar Parque de La 93. Nice place and is definitely chica friendly. They make them sign in and show ID and you sign off on them visiting. If you're not downstairs to meet them, they will escort them up to your place. When they leave, they will call you from downstairs to confirm everything is ok. I was not charged any fee. I did book the room "for two."

So met up with my travel buddy who came in earlier and was staying there as well for a drink downstairs. Since I was on a tight timeline, resorted to mileroticos and lacelestina. Settled on one from ME. I'd find out later on it was a madam situation as she gave me her real # afterwards. Quote was 200 k. She came thru and we went up. It was kind of a mismatch as I like to have conversation, make a small connection etc etc but she was all business. Anyway decent CBJ, a little doggy and then she got on top but man she couldn't be less interested and my dude basically died. Sent her off.

Found a second one on ME for 100 k plus 50 k since she was coming from engativa. Spunkier than the first and definitely made up for the first. BBJ till nutt, then resurrected the poor fella and rode my ass till the next one. Threw in another 50 k and off she went. So 400 k all in. More than I thought I'd spend night one but ok, I ain't complaining. All this to say ME not a bad option but maybe 50/50 you'll be talking to a middle person as was the case for me. The yes daddy tatted ass is from the first chick who was disappointing. I was pooped after the second one and didn't get a pic. LOL.

Oh, With the exchange rate, I had already gotten 6 M COP thru my local bank, so I didn't use any local cambio places.

A week later, I returned for one more night to connect the next day. This time I came with my new found "novia" from Cartagena. Post about that in CTG thread.

Anyway, I'm sold on Colombia and will be back.

Oh the CheckMig / Vaccination stuff. This was checked in the immigration line in Bogota. On the return out of Bogota, the CheckMig was not asked for. Did not have to present anything anywhere else. And was super happy I dealt with immigration in Bogota rather than CTG where it was a horrible mess.

This will help you with your practice with the cleaner- They are great like a 20 minute class you can take anywhere.

I found a girl in Bogota on https://www.italki.com/en who is teaching me Spanish, she is married but willing to set me up with her friends when I am in town. Good luck.

That is exactly what I am looking for! Learning Spanish and have some kind of SD relationship for my stay (not neccessary the same peron). Could you hook me up with her as a language teacher? I would like to start now and be in Columbia in mid January. I assure you, setting me up with a friend of her is something I will not ask during the first sessions!

PImsleur DVDs for Spanish are good-- 3 levels 90 lessons -- if you can master those or even part you would be in good shape.
