The one thing that stood out throughout my stay here is the realization that while it's great to have a plan on what to do and when, there's no NEED to follow it. But believe most have been cleared. Phnom Penh worth a visit for the genocide museum, the art-deco market, the museum, and the river walks. Nothing to be seen at the actual killing fields.

3. Malaysia interesting. Many tourist sites, lived there for a year. Unfortunately, KL's Beach Club closed, was a real Asian smorgasbord....

4. Laos worth a visit; haven't been back to Vietnam yet.

You can get into that park to walk around from various entrances near Chatuchak Market, but the last 2 times I exited at the Mo Chit BTS station the gate into the park at the bottom of the stairs and right next to the MRT Chatuchak station entrance / exit was closed and everyone had to walk around on the sidewalk to another entrance into the market grounds.

Have to agree with you. I was in Thailand for a long time this past summer and like you I did a lot of eating, massages, sightseeing and relaxing and not nearly as much smashing as I thought I would. It gets kind of old when you have it at your fingertips anytime you want, so spacing it out worked better for me.
