Hi gents,

First time in this scene in Taiwan, having previously only gone the round in Australia.

I've been here in Taipei for a month and am looking to get back into punting, but I am finding it hard to get information and get started. I am planning to visit some of the massage places on Linsen and Rd and the likes but am having doubts on how it works and if I will get scammed.

Also, I walked around Longshan Temple and Huaxi Night market the other day and found that the street walkers were all really old. Walking through the hallway in Huaxi Night Market, I saw a lot of massage places and they all seem to have massage beds with curtains that can cover the beds. What's the deal here? It looks to me like some extras are available here or am I just imagining things?

Any tips? I can speak a bit of Mandarin but not a great deal. Thanks!

Those massage spas with clear windows and complete transparency on the first floor, with foot and leg massage going on in full sight, are "MORE" therapeutic spas. They have an upstairs and depending on the masseuse, hand jobs are available. Some are appalled by the request and some take it in stride. But, the main requirement to work in that type of spa is to deliver a very decent, good, or even excellent massage.

The other spas in that area and in mostly all areas of Taiwan, with darkened glass on the storefront and a formal desk and only a very basic massage menu, like oil or no oil, you can pretty much be assured extras.

Choosing "oil" as opposed to "no oil" is your invitation to them of your desires.

If you read the posts in this thread, you will understand the Longshan area better. Kangding has younger girls, more so than Huaxi in that neck of the woods.

Although, in the elevatored building in Huaxi, on the higher floors, I have seen young and beautiful girls that NEVER walk the streets in the Huaxi night market alleys. But, they seem to be reserved for those old-timer alcohol infused singing rants and parties that the area is famous for.

FYI fellas, I have some good tips for using eurogirls and CoL.

1. If you see a CoL or eurog listing where they ONLY list a WhatsApp number and / or telegram as a contact and it starts with +852, it's not real.

Can anyone confirm this? (and explain what the scam is).

It does seem like a lot of the very attractive girls on CoL, Eurogirls and Massagerepublic have a +852 number, so I'm inclined to believe these aren't real, but I sort of hope I'm mistaken because damn, some of them are VERY hot.

I've heard from my own trusted agent, one who I've used for years, that there is indeed more scrutiny lately. Since it is the end of the year, there is an increased police presence as all the policemen need to fill their quota to get their bonuses.

Again, this is just information I'm passing on, I don't know if it's true or not. But maybe a good thing to use caution for now. Although like the previous poster said, I don't know if they ever charge the monger, or just the girl.

We appreciate that information. That must be the word on the street, and many are heeding that warning. Also, Longshan is such a depressed area, with the homeless population and dilapidated buildings. But, it always feels so incredibly safe and nostalgic, like being able to go back in time to another era. The homeless population are loved and cared for in many ways. I have seen free lunches being handed out with great smiles of compassion and at other times bakery bread stuffs at various times of the day. A homeless man approached me, not for money, but told me if I am hungry, I could get free food. Maybe I need a shave and a revamped wardrobe. (LOL).

But in my long walks and observing the area, I got to know the vendors who I buy food, clothes, fruits and treats from, everybody is so old school and friendly. The herbal market there serves pre-made local herbal formulas to drink on the spot for refreshment, and the herbs sold in that area are not only from the standard Traditional Chinese Medicine repertoire, but local indigenous Taiwanese medicinal herbs, oftentimes fresh.

Longshan Temple has its own magical charm and power. I have been there for Buddhist prayers, and those that patronize the temple are so sincere and devout. I have even seen my local providers having their fruit blessed and saying prayers before starting their shifts as prostitutes. One girl asked me to perform her prayer ritual with her when I happened to meet her in a smaller nearby temple there, and then she took me to her room to be serviced. It was magical and it carried a feeling of sacredness into the session.

I say all this, knowing that modernization can't help but clean up and change that traditional area forever, and the red light district might soon be but a memory. I don't like online dating, and much prefer the red light district stroll, and smiles and banter, the shopping before buying.

The cold weather has the disadvantage of girls hiding behind their clothes. I really don't care for chubby tummies, and the multilevel clothes hide that. I walked with one girl after making a deal, and suddenly realized she was more out of shape than I originally scrutinized. After walking for a while, I told her that I changed my mind. She was furious for my making her walk a distance. (quite frankly she needed the exercise) She demanded to be compensated for having to walk. Understood. But, she was not satisfied with 100.

Hopefully the area comes back to life. COVID really damaged the area's reputation, as much of the outbreak being attributed to the tea houses.

Unless the laws have changed in recent years, cops don't charge mongers. It's the WGs that get charged.

With so much police presence, aren't you worried about getting caught in the middle of a transaction, or pants down? Genuinely curious, because that's always prevented me from purchasing from the Longshan area.

Look, I am not pretending to be a fearless warrior who ignores caution. But, to answer your question truthfully, no, I am not afraid. I was there again, for my fourth time this week. I did strike out a couple of times.

Today, I met somebody. She was no beauty Queen, but she went so far above and beyond the call of duty to make up for it, that I am eternally grateful to her. It was no quickie. Shower before and after, talking, lost track of time, no buzzer, and plenty of honest. Sincere, dramatic real action. (and I say that based on drawing duds who just quit early knowing they were paid in full either way on many occasions).

However, the police presence today was intense, and I can't blame it on rush hour. There were far more police than girls. And, no beauties, except for one true cutie who wanted 3 k. I'm not paying that. Plenty of pimps, and I am sure they will hook you up nicely, but I just don't like that middleman route.

I talked to my girl about the low provider situation. She told me it was a combination of rain and bad economy, and just no customers. I don't really buy that. Pretty girls last month told me they were very very very busy.

There is plenty there. It is an old time well established red light district. Plenty of has-beens, but plenty of prime-time girls. It can only get better with the freedom to travel having been lifted.

I would say MR is the best site of that list. I've had plenty of good experiences with girls on there, but also dealt with some fake profiles. You can usually spot the fake accounts just by the pictures. I want to say the post ops are fairly easy to spot as well and are usually in the minority although at the moment there seems to be a fair few.

Try to find accounts with socials (IG, Line profiles), usually helps to see more real pictures. Some offer video call to confirm.

Why no reviews? I would venture a guess that most people find their pleasures elsewhere / cheaper. Plus, these girls usually don't stay very long in one trip.
