Posts: 532My first night in mnl I stayed at the Belmont Hotel. When I checked in the receptionist asked if I had a second person to add to registation. Not sure how girl friendly it is but it seems as long as you register your guest it would be fine. This is the only hotel that asked for my e-travel document and vacination card. The room is nice and if you land at terminal 3, you could just walk the bridge to this hotel. Price was about $80.00 usd.
My last two nights were at the Okada hotel and casino. This place is very nice but you will pay a price to stay there. Didn't bring any girls back but doesn't seem very girl friendly. There staff at the elevators, there's staff on every floor when you get off the elevator. I knew what I was getting into with this hotel but I like to gamble and eat so wasn't worried about bringing girls back. So if you want to stay at a luxury high end hotel with a casino, this is the place. If you want to bring back girls, look somewhere else. I paid about $220.00 usd a night and that was with a discount so it's not cheap.

Posts: 4Makati Diamond Residences vs Raffles
Has anyone stayed at both the Makati Diamond Residences and the Raffles? Booking my next trip and trying to decide between the two. Really enjoyed the Diamond last time but kind of want to try someplace new.
Also after sampling burgos last time I may venture out elsewhere for some mongering.

Now I just need to do some research on the other threads so I don't screw up my one and only night in Manila. I'll be spending all my time on P Burgos and just need to narrow down the handful of bars that are fun for me.

As per Westie post he mentioned St Giles at less than P2 k / night. No streets to cross (Unlike I'm Hotel) and St Giles has a back alley directly to Burgos.

I probably would spend a lot of time with some online girls, prearranged. So. A good place is definitely important. Coro was selected because it offered a suite within my budget. Although, at 400 Sq feet, its almost the same as normal rooms of some of these 5* hotels (at 375 sq feet).

Same timeframe from Burgos to the airport. Light traffic its 15-20 minutes, heavy traffic 45-ish minutes.

Coro is a modestly nice place in Kalayaan St. Its across the street from a Starbucks. It between Makati Prime Tower and IM hotel. Its a block from Burgos and a block from Makati Ave, just a 1 minute walk to either. Nightly price of p2500-3000 ($50-$55-ish US Dollars) range.
All hotels are generally girl-friendly in the area. When I was there a few months ago, one of my regulars was not only heading in / out of Coro several times a week to be with a client, she was providing other girls to several gents in Coro, marching herself and other gals in / out of Coro twice a day. Caveat: I have never stayed there.
For a slightly cheaper alternative than Coro, just a block away at Kalayaan corner Makati Ave, St. Giles, p1500-$2000 on Agoda (see pic). Plenty of reviews there.

Posts: 206Hotel for one night long layover
I've been to Manila before COVID and usually stay at one of the nicer places near Greenbelt, but this trip I'm just passing thru on my way to Thailand and booked an itinerary with a long layover so I can spend one night out in town. I land at NAIA at 7 PM on a Saturday night and my next flight departs at 10 AM the next day Sunday morning so my time is limited, but should be fine for a full night of fun.
I've always had a good time on P Burgos, so that's where I'll be headed. It doesn't make sense to me to spend the money on a 5-star in Greenbelt as I'll literally just be sleeping there and maybe bringing a girl back to my room. So it's down to staying near NAIA or near Burgos.
I've never stayed City Garden Grand but based on all the great tips here (thanks guys), that would be one choice at about $75. I'd just hang out on Burgos for the night and catch a taxi back to NAIA early Sunday morning. I'm guessing traffic won't be bad on a Sunday morning at about 6 AM, even it always seems bad in Manila. This has the convenience of being able to easily bring a girl back to the room for some fun.
The other option is to book a business hotel right at NAIA and just taxi up to Burgos after check in. It's probably too far to bring a girl all the way back to the airport area, but I guess I could always get a short time hotel near Burgos if necessary. Or just have fun behind the curtains in a bar.
Can anyone give me some advice as to the pros of cons of the two options?

Try Victoria Court for a place near the airport.
