It's interesting that the PedWest opening comes at the same time that Biden said he plans to visit the border next week. I would be shocked if he was to go to Texas since it is having the most trouble and may choose to see how San Ysidro is handling things since the migrants are in the shelters and not sleeping at the border. Still seems like a long shot. I would think he would go to a slower border like Mexicali or maybe one of the Arizona borders. I'm sure Gavin would love to get some nice press time with the old man.

CBP announced Wednesday that PedWest will be opening beginning Jan. 9th. The only difference is that the hours will only be from 6 am till 2 pm. So this won't really help most of you out since I imagine you all go back to the border after 2 pm.

Just a quick comment on my experience with Mexican people.

Recent trip to Guanajuato.

Friend accidentally leaves her phone at a gift store. She wasn't sure where she had left it but we just backtracked and sure enough it's at the gift store and the store clerk gives it back.

I drop my phone in the taxi. See the taxi driver 30 minutes later driving down the road and he has it. Gives it back and I give him a nice reward.

In Azul restaurant 4 years ago. Drop my wallet on the floor near my table as I am leaving. Mexican guy alerts me to it where he could have easily just taken it.

Paid a street hooker (Sophia) a little extra in Azuls after fucking to help me with spanish a bit as we shared some drinks. When I went to pay her she would not take the agreed on price and would only take half of it because she was learning a little english from me at the same time. Unbelievable. Some of these girls have the heart of gold..

Mexico seems to look more down upon stealing than say san Diego, where stealing isn't even illegal anymore. I have also had Mexicans point out dropped money. But guys need to spread their money out, as some girls will pick pocket you. The girl who took mybwallet out, took the cash out and threw wallet on the floor while dancing on me on the bar stool, she is a bar girl. The way she did it so smoothly I know she does it to others. Some guys would go postal over that and end upon Mexican prison. I just looked at her in disgust shook my head, pick my wallet and credit cards off the floor, and left. If it was hk or Adelitas I would of told management but she was off duty just drinking in a alley bar that I will never spend another penny on because I think she told the bartender when we went in, as she made me wait outside for 1 minute to check inside the bar. I've since stopped going to bars and just sit in my hotel now in Tijuana at night.

Maybe I'm confused. Why would you need a fake ID for any reason?

Love motels request them if you check-in without a car and use it as collateral. And one of the big 3 (HK/Cascadas) requests ID when buying a VIP card and when using it (the 70% discounts on Mon & Tues).

And from 3rd hand sources, so I don't know how true it is, I've heard stories of putas stealing ID/wallets and then blackmailing people into giving them back. So for those reason, I'd prefer to use a burner ID. If it's lost/stolen/damaged, no foul...and no dealing with the DMV to replace it.

Personally I do not have any fake ID's but in Thailand held an FBI Badge. Green hologram block logo FBI letters and solid metal badge. VERY convincing. Also a very easy way to get in serious trouble.

I can't say check-in times as I've never checked in in the morning. You can always get a love motel that rents for 4 hours (you can't usually leave the premises though), take a break and then go to a real hotel when you can check in.

I've never tried Mileroticos as I'm an infrequent flyer with limited Spanish, but reports about Mileroticos can be hit or miss and while they are cheaper, in theory, you might want to stick to a booker to avoid the risk of flakes / bait-switches, etc. Personally, I'd just work with one booker, give them the times you want and if you book a bunch of times, they'll coordinate things better. They also can recommend a place they like and that might let you check in early. Just be clear on times with the booker- I used Musas ansd scheduled a 5 pm Hook up and a 9 am Next day hook up. After my 5 pm hookup I rested then headed to the bars and when I got back that night I had a bunch of messages from Musas around 9 pm Asking where I was and I was black-listed. I sent him the texts that clearly said time / day and it was for the morning but Musas was being a jerk about it- it was his mistake. Never used him again.

I highly suggest you spend a little time at HK to get your feet wet there and see what's going on there. I usually prefer the bars as it's more fun. I've done long weekends, half the trip at Cascadas (HK's hotel) and half time at a hotel with escorts and I liked both but I think my time at the bars was more fun.

I'm gona write this, more for my disappointment in this girl. And others need to be careful. 25 yrs ago a lap dancer at high end nyc club took my wallet. Mysteriously it shows up later empty. So I'm not new. But I've been around many girls in Tijuana only one stole my Droid phone and tried to sell it back to me, in playboy bar. This girl now, from a bar smaller than hk, I paid for sex maybe twice in one year, maybe a bunch drinks 4 times with no sex, and six once that I didn't pay. At times she'd ask for $$ when I'm not even in Mexico. Tonight she wanted someone to drink with. She wasn't working. The conversation turned to her needing money. I don't enjoy paying ID rather go home. She saw I only had minimal money in my wallet. Then she begs for sex. I'm self aware enough at this point that can get ugly. Is she gona call policia on me? Take my phone? I had under 50 on me. I told her no. She proceeds to grind on me in a bar. I catch her going for my wallet. At this point, I was gona give her 20 for taxi anyway so not super worried. Then after 30 seconds I realize my wallets gone. She got about 26, my wallets on the floor. This, is for a girl I've known a year and a half, whose even slept in my hotel before. At this point, I just left. For 26 bucks, bim not gona be involving the policia. I didn't even want to go out tonight but she begged me was drinking alone. I'm done with Mexico woman.

I ask this sincerely. Why do you continue to come to Tijuana? Every trip is boring, you can't find anybody to make the first move, you don't have money, the cops frisk you, you get robbed, and the beat goes on. Man, if things were this bad I'd cut my losses and stay home. It's a lot cheaper to be miserable at home.

I was originally planning to take a trip to Tijuana around October, but stuff came up and I wasn't able to until now. I'm planning to head down next week but I still have a lot of questions so I'm hopping people are able to give me some advice. Sorry if its seems like a lot but any info would be appreciated.

Upon leaving and retrieving my ID I would see them shuffling through a stack of IDs to find mine so I know others were also leaving their ID. Perhaps your friend has an in with the staff there or if you drive in your car is considered the ID due to license plate. I don't drive in to Tijuana so not an option tor me.

I also don't care to go through the trouble of getting a fake ID. I'll likely just show up and hope they give me a room sans ID and maybe charge me 10 or 20 dollars extra which I would be fine with. I'll report back.

I never carry my OG ID's on me while in Tijuana unless I am going back and forth from the border. You can find places that will make color copies for you that you can size down and laminate. They look totally real. They are obviously but if they get lost or stolen you won't be in a bind since those would be disposable copies. I guess you could alter some of the info in photoshop if you really wanted to.

If anyone asks I say the OG is safe and sound locked up in a secure place.

Last night was a complete bust all around. HK had half of the Chavelas side closed off again since there weren't too many chicks on duty. You can imagine how all the other clubs were. Noticed a couple girls from Chicago now working at Adelitas. Also ran into an old acquaintance from HK working at Tropical so sat down for a while with her while she gave me lapdances and made out. I made it clear to her I wasn't looking to go arriba to not get her hopes up since I've already had her every which way, but she was cool with it so we just enjoyed our time at our booth. It seems that when paying for the room, the employee only notes the license plate. When leaving, the employee checks the room if everything is OK and then you can leave. The motel is OK. Clean, shower, AC, large TV etc. And you can order food and drinks. Price if I remember correctly $36 for 4 hours.

I've done day time stays at La Mansion in the past and have found it to serve its purpose.

My concern as I think about it more is having to give your ID upon checkin. Has anyone told them you don't have your ID and do they still let you use a room or perhaps charge extra?

I'the be fine paying more if I didn't have to give my ID. Privacy is of utmost importance.
