Found myself in Oysterbay on Thursday night.

The situation:

QBar 2 : It's exactly the same place than former Qbar but with a new owner. The rooms upstairs are owned by someone else. Around 10 girls some good looking. I've not confirmed the declining reputation of the place. To make a long story short, we realized the "lost in translation" error and reconciled with a nice warm long embrace in the middle of the sidewalk around 21:30 and now she is texting me about how it's been a long time since she had her needs fulfilled and she doesn't like that. Who knows how this will evolve but I got many options I feel like I have zero pressure.

I'm not going to bore you with my adventures just know that if you want regular women with clean KUMA who want pleasure but not openly so, and have patience to get her to confine in you and you have time 2 wks minimum for experts or 3 wks minimum for novices (not recommend for 1st timers) then Arusha is amazing.

My advice would be always book a double room at any price point. For Oysterbay and Masaki, I would suggest Peninsula Hotel or Protea Oysterbay. Happy hunting.

Unfortunately, Q Bar has totally lost its appeal to many. Collusion between the bar / lodging staff and the girls has been reported over several years. There is also a risk that your car may be interfered with despite the presence of watchmen. The rooms will never improve. The quality and quantity of the girls appears to have been on a downward spiral for years. For those who can budget for a hotel on the peninsula, better to just book a double room somewhere and then go hunting locally. Alternatively, consider getting a half decent spot in Sinza and picking something up there (if you are confident about mixing with the locals) or picking something in the peninsula and heading back to Sinza. There may be a steep price differential between the two localities and if you are not familiar with the 'Haven on Peace' then better stick to Samaki Samaki. As an aside, I have known of girls to engage with gentlemen around The Slipway then swipe their wallet at the first opportunity. Drugs have also been dropped into the drinks of gentlemen (both local and foreign) over the years at various spots but be aware this has also happened when they were accompanied back to their room or apartment also. I do not wish to deter anyone, just be mindful of your personal security and situational awareness at all times in Dar.

On my recent trip to Dar es Salaam, I stayed at Q-bar (I was being lazy to find for girls and from what I heard, Q bar always have girls).

Room were expensive ($50-$60) for the super cheap quality bed and stinky washroom. But that's not the worst thing.

I picked a girl for $40 from downstair club and took her to my room, half way through the sex she started demanding more money. She stopped sex and said give me $100.

I had to pay $100 extortion, as it was my beginning of 15 days vacation and I didn't want to ruin it.

In my experience, stay at good hotel where you trust hotel staff to protect you. Stay away from Q bar.

Samaki Samaki Masaki (the outdoor space as you go to the washrooms) seems to be the best pick up joint for a Wednesday. I am sure there is something on offer for other days of the week. I expect Q Bar to be dead on Monday and Tuesday. It seems most of the women who can afford to hang around in Samaki Samaki have migrated from Q Bar some years back. I never found Samaki Samaki at Mlimani City offering easy pick ups. Sinza? You might find from late afternoon. You may be quoted 120 000 if you are a mzungu but you can negotiate down dramatically.
