Deja Vu is still alive and kicking. It would be convenient since it is next to Caliente Casino and swingers club, but they make you pay $5 cover and the place is usually dead. I always get screwed as I pay the $5 cover and then only see 5-10 chicas and then head to Zona Norte. At least they sell food and it is halfway decent. As far as women, not too many. They do occasionally bring USA Porn stars, but never been when they hosted. Not sure how a USA Porn star would do for performance other than if they were shooting a live sex scene. I don't see why age verification would be a problem. It's illegal to employ anybody except a Mexican national, or somebody with the proper visa. All adult Mexicans must have a voter ID card showing name, DOB, etc. The girl walks in and ask for a job. The boss says sure, let me see some ID. The Mexican has it, age is easily verified. The Colombiana, visiting on a tourist visa, can't produce a Mexican ID card, and can't get a job.

Of course, that's all on paper. In the real world I'm sure the rules are bent, if not broken. Looks like they got caught. Tough titty.

Anyone can use anyone's ID for the most part. The girls who are from other countries likely have working papers which are given if your either waiting on USA asylum, in some cases. Or waiting for Mexico asylum / citizenship. If any bar could hire just anyone all the bars would be full of LOS Angeles and San Diego strippers who are tired of working hard for less pay than the Mexicans earn in Hong Kong. Just take the USA border. I'm sure many people borrow others passports to walk into USA. You just need the same height and hair color eye color skin shade. The photo they take is a new thing. I don't know if they photo anyone going in by car, plus you can refuse the photo at the border. Before sentri I always told them I refuse the photo.

Was it a paid lot? What was visible in the car? I park at the trolley station 200 nights without any problems. The 1 day iblarked downtown little Italy 🇮127481; they busted my windows in 1 hour because a spotter saw me put a backpack in the trunk. I had no idea theft was so bad that you literally can't put something in your trunk unless your gona drive away. You gota make sure to have window coverage on your car in California theres nobodybin jail in San Diego for breaking into cars but it happens 100 times a day.

I think it is more difficult to verify age for non-Mexicans. So I can see how Adelitas gets put under a microscope when the employ non-Mexicans whose papers may or may not be legitimate. I am not strictly talking about age, but actual identity. I hope they payoff the right people so that they can be back in business soon.

Where were you parked. ? My car was broken into on Front st. This the dead end st where the Goodwill store is. There was a lot of homeless in that area. There was a lot of homeless living by the freeway. This one reason why I take the Trolley from downtown. The Trolley is fast & cheap. Only takes 30 minutes and cheap. Do not have to deal with traffic on I-5. Sometimes the Trolley gets crowded around rush hour however. My only big complaint is the trolley needs longer hours. The other issue is that the last trolley to Old Town leaves at 11:45 pm.

I don't think HK has worried about Ab for some time. I visit the big three each visit and HK is always the most crowded by a lot and I think after the girl was murdered in AB they've had a hard time getting new young girls and usually only have foreign girls or girls that have gotten kicked out of HK either permanently or just for a certain amount of time.

I'd be interested to see if this shut down gives a place like Deja Vu the opportunity to get some better girls. I'm not sure if it's still even open but might be worth checking out on my next visit.

Well what is it that you are hearing? In the bigger picture I can't help but suspect that the HK group is somehow behind all of this. The raid even just happened to coincide with them raising their hotel prices just a few days ago. Fact is that, with Adelitas struggling even before this raid, HK really isn't all that far off from having an effective monopoly on the Zona Norte sex bar business (outside of the smaller, divier bars that mostly only locals go to of course). Just find a way to push Adelitas and Chicago out and it's effectively theirs. They might be able to get there with Adelitas.

Would be crazy if HK bought AB. They would practically own the entire block!

The thing that sucks about these reports about AB is that it will also paint us mongers in a negative light because people who never step foot in the zona will blindly believe what is being reported about minors and will think that's what we're going down there for when in reality it's probably been a decade since I have seen any chica in AB that could be perceived as an 18-21 year old, let alone a minor.

The rumors amongst some girls I know is that the bust in AB is about something else and not this other shit that's being reported. But again, that's just hearsay. I personally don't know jack shit about anything that happened. As far as Im concerned, AB is ran by perfectly upstanding businessmen who do everything by the book.

Larry was in federal prison in CDMX awaiting trial. Never heard from him again. Guys said he died in prison.
