I googled "Calette Restaurant Tijuana" and it came up with two listings, "Calette" and "Asadero Baja Sonora - Calette"

Chans Sanchez Taboada is decent. The Bistro in La Cacho has gone downhill IMO. Last two times I went I was very disappointed with the food quality.

What does Calette have to do with Asadero Baja Sonora? Yes Calette.

These days my lunches average $35/40 even had some at $50 every now and then. This is for one person mind you. I drink water order an appetizer, main plate, and dessert.

Some places have re arranged portion size and raised prices. I refuse to go back to those places.

Not good times if you are looking for cheap 4/5 star restaurants. Sure you can lowball and do regular food but I am a foodie. I can get regular food anywhere.

$20 at the steak houses is okay, in US it is usually minimum $40-50 for like a lunch special and dinner is much more.

I remember when I was in Tijuana I got lucky or something because I paid only $10 at pampas for all you can eat steakhouse.

It was terrific and I couldn't believe it.

I didn't know the usual price is $20 at pampas.

    Great. Thanks for the info.

I have been to Peru several times so I am familiar with the food. I should really give this place a shot next time I am in the area which is very often.

Pro Tip: Get Ice Cream at Tiempo Nieve next door. They have some really exotic flavors.
