I really have no idea what you're talking about with tinder. If you are in Bali then it is a great tool. If you are not in Bali and have paid to be able to set your location then this is different, this is not something I would do.

I've never paid an upgrade for any apps and tinder has been great for me.

You are wrong about bumble, it is not widely used, although I've had some success using it.

I find Tinder fun. My report below describes what I have been doing for years. Still catch up with the now ex-Uni student mentioned, who is now married, a rather successful business women, but still enjoys a little bit of old age bule on the side! But as I even mentioned then, results are different depending on country, and this is confirmed if you look on other boards.

I swipe the girls I find good looking no matter the age, and very few do not respond, have a chat with the ones I really like and then filter from there.

Some beautiful and high quality girls in Bali. However, it's the Daddies who have created unreasonable expectations by offering high allowances, 5 star holidays etc for very little in return.

I basically agree. However, there are a couple of things I do differently.

If in Jakarta, I wouldn't offer the holiday in Bali in the profile. It's too easy and common for girls to behave until they get the prize then attitudes etc change and John would then have the problems associated with returning her when a long holiday was promised. It's always much easier to wait until you know you mesh with the girl and then ask a fun girl if she wants to come to Bali for a few days.

I'm unsure where John is. Pretty girls online have heard a million promises before and place no faith in them. He needs to be at least in country and preferably in town, looking to meet now. Not still at home discussing a potential trip next month.

If already in Bali and not going to Jakarta it's still possible, just take more care with the selection process.

To be clear, I am in my late 50's and overweight, my hairstyle looks like I paid two dollars for it from the barber who operates out of the shipping container at the end of the street, mainly because that's where I do get it cut, my dress sense is straight out of the "Man at Marks and Spencer" 1992 collection, and yet I have a list as long as your arm of very do-able Tinder contacts lined up, most of whom I am just too lazy to follow up on.

I am confused, unless you are paying for Tinder you have a limited number of "likes" you can swipe on each day, and yet you complain all you get is frumpy jilbab-wearing matrons looking to get married. Of those, about half would be underage or over 40.

So that's 5 million women of doable age, and from looking at a couple of online hook-up sites you have worked out that there are no women you'd fancy.

I am visiting Bali in May for like 3 weeks and will be staying in different tourist locations, its a solo trip for me and I plan to monger as much as possible.

1. I have seen the Flame spa outlets and plan to visit them. The prices do seem a quite high and not sure if they are worth it or not, still plan to visit them at least once.
