My two cents. I still visit Thailand for holidays, being from Africa, I have to agree with sentiment that Thailand, Philippines are great countries to visit, however progress there has reduced the mongering scene to one of being for the better off financially, wise. Bangkok is off the scale now even more expensive than my current UK. I plan to retire to Thailand though. Africa is better for sexual encounters, of course black chicks need to be your taste. It amazes me that Kenya, in general, and Mombasa in particular, doesn't have the mongering interest here that places like the Philippines still do. I visit the Philippines regularly and you are right, the traditional mongering places are not what they used to be and way overpriced, thanks to the large influx of Koreans. You could go to Africa and follow Neddy's advice, or you can just get away from Angeles and try places such as Davao. This may be me just speaking out of my ass because I haven't stepped foot in Africa yet, but I think it's just an issue of quality of life outside mongering that deters people from ruining Kenya. The cheap lodging, cheap food, safety, etc of Thailand is massively appealing to people. If you work remotely, my understanding is that the infrastructure difference between Kenya and Thailand is night and day.
