Posts: 62An awful day in Bogota
I just spent my first day in Bogota, and also the first day in South America, for that matter. As a crazy ass man stuck in China throughout his life, I've been super excited about this trip since it's my first time ever to play with some juicy ass. Unfortunately, the overall experience is terrible.
First of all, I was ripped off by my uber driver when I was going from the airport to airbnb. After dropping me off in Usaquen, the scumbag kept the meter running by circling around, and the final bill cost me about 20,000 more. It's not a lot of money, but I find it disgusting.
Then I scheduled a 1 hour session with Danna from Eroticas Bogota. I've read great things about this agency lately, so I decided to give it a shot. I confirmed with the receptionist that Danna was available and went to get a room in a love motel. But after I sent the receptionist the photo of my room key, the asshole told me that "unfortunately, Danna has already committed herself to family matter". On top of that, he recommended a few girls to me. Obviously the bottom-of-the-barrel type that probably nobody has booked before. Fuck off! I will never do business with this agency again.
After the escort thing went south, I decided to give Loutron a try. The bastards that run this place blatantly quoted me "400 mil for the girl, 300 mil for the room, so 700 mil in total for 1 hour". Ridiculous and shameless!
To be honest, Colombia is not my first choice as a mongering destination. My dream land is the legendary bundaland: Brazil. Unfortunately, I didn't get my Brazilian visa in China, so I flew all the way down to Colombia to apply for the visa here because the application requirements are much more lenient. But before I get my Brazilian visa, I still need to find some way to happily monger here. Since Santa Fe is too raunchy for me, it's not an option. Do you guys have any ideas? Please advise. Thank you.

Posts: 176BOG safety, Chapi vs Sf
I'm trying to get my baseline risk down to typical large American city, which is tough since my Spanish is still weak for now.
I'm staying in Chapinero, if I dress down, don't draw attention, stay away from sketch spots. At Zona T or the touristy / gringo friendly bars will I still need to be paranoid about my phone S23? Other than Whatsapp / Google translate at the bar, just keeping zipped with a money / phone belt to my stomach. Perhaps just sticking to midscale or upscale dance party bars / clubs with bouncers?
For SF, I'm only taking Uber directly to & from front of the Troya, Fiebre spot. Is it smart to tip a door guy or server specifically to wait for your Uber with you? Or just tip in general right off the bat? Or is that overkill as long as I'm directly in front?

I live in the nearby Hyatt Place Convention Center. After learning about your incident I am quite worried about the area surrounding my hotel.

Time of day, crowded areas do not gurantee you of any security. Although time and area will effect your chances of a mugging, to some degree. People around mean NOTHING, Bogotanos WILL NOT GET INVOLVED.
My girlfriend of 5 years had her 5th phone stolen in 5 years, last week, at lunch time, in el centro with lots of people around.
She is doing her internship at a large engineering firm, from 7 to 1 and then 2 to 7 at class in the Nat'l University. As she made her way into the street half running from the transmilenio platform a big black Colombian with a large knife jumped in front of her and put the knife into her side and demand her phone, wallet computer etc. In her back pack. She stalled a bit hoping someone would step in, of course NO ONE did and never will. He got pissed she wasn't moving fast enough. By this time she got her phone out of her bag he grabbed it, punched her in the eye, breaking her glasses and cutting her on the side of her face, just missing her eye. He ran away. Immediately another man came up to her, didn't offer help, only asked her what did he steal from you. WHY you ask? Because they were working together, he was in on the robbery and wanted to know what his accomplice stole so the thief couldn't hold out on him. She then saw him talking to thief as they disappeared into the crowd. Bogota is dangerous, don't listen to anyone who tells you different, if they haven't been robbed yet its because they have not spent a enouhgh time in Bogota yet or don't live there.

Posts: 11Absolut and other Places in Zona T / Zona Rosa
Gentlemen,
I will be staying near Absolut, and not sure I can leave Zona Rosa. A few questions:
1. What will BBBJ cost me at Absolut (an hour session)? Is it fairly common or are they all CBJ there?
2. Is it hard to get an Absolut girl to come to your hotel in the evening or even do GFE?
3. What other spas are within safe walk of Absolut.
4. Any freelancers to be found at the casinos, restaurants, or hotels in this area?
Gracias.

I have been told, and I experienced. They never restart the phone, they take out the battery then the SIM, and sell the phone for parts. Hopefully no one then is successful at stealing information. Not sure if that is possible at that point.

Hi all.
Just another post to say thank you to everyone who contributes to this board, I've now made it to Tequendama for a few days where the game plan is prepagos in the day and the clubs in the evening.
I've noticed that girls who come to visit at the hotel want to take your full name, I've heard mixed ideas about this. At the same time though I'd rather the safety of the hotel room, especially after the guy who got thrown into a van after visiting a casa. On that note, if anybody goes out to visit a girl at her place, is it standard procedure that they let you wait until your taxi arrives or do they send you on your way?
I'm try my best to provide reports as I go along, I've booked Catalina from a few posts back who reviewed quite well. She seems friendly on WhatsApp and a keyboard translator but can't speak a lick of English so we'll see.
Will be getting in touch with Woodman once my subscription goes through.
Anybody who wants to wingman the clubs between tonight and the 10th let me know!
Thanks again everyone.

And leaving mid-day on a Tuesday. I've contacted Woodman and he gave me his contact info, but I think I was a bit premature since I won't be there until June. So I'll get back with him in another few weeks. I'd like to do his tour if we can do it on a Sunday or a Monday. I booked a hotel and I'm sure it's not girl friendly, but after reading a lot it seems like it doesn't matter if I order an escort to my room in the middle of the day, right? If I can't order in and / or I can't get with Woodman, I'll need some backup plans. Would I be correct in assuming that in order of quality it would probably go: casa, FS massage parlor, strip club? Can anybody recommend a good casa or spa? I'll be in Chapinero, but I don't mind traveling.
Thanks in advance and I'll be sure to share my experiences!
