Posts: 516Really bad day for Russia's air force.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zon...ir-own-borders
One bomber, one fighter escort, two helicopters, and an estimated 9 aviators eliminated. And reportedly it all happened about 50 km INSIDE Russia. Three possible explanations have been proposed:
1. All four aircraft experienced near-simultaneous catastrophic in-flight systems failure. Highly unlikely, IMO.
2. All four aircraft were shot down by their own forces in a "friendly fire" incident. Possible, but also rather unlikely (IMO). One, maybe, but all FOUR? If Russian air defenses are so incompetent, then Ukraine will hardly need to lift a finger as Russian forces will mostly eliminate themselves.
3. All four aircraft were shot down by Ukraine. Possible methods include: a) Ukrainian Special Forces who successfully infiltrated Russian territory and used some type of MANPAD system; b) Pro-Ukraine partisans using MANPADs; c) Ukrainian forces using ground-based anti-aircraft systems, which would need to be brought close to the border, or into Russia, in order to be effective, or; d) Ukrainian fighters using air-to-air missiles.
One key point not mentioned in the article is that, for all or most of the scenarios listed in #3, Ukraine would likely have needed advance intel about details of the aircrafts' movements. I imagine that could make for some sleepless nights for Russian pilots and crew.
And, as a bonus, at least one (possibly both) of the helicopters reportedly had sophisticated electronic warfare capabilities. If that's true, that's an even more significant loss, one that will be difficult or impossible to replace.
Again, no matter how you slice it, a REALLY bad day for the Russian Air Force.

Even Prigozhin is ranting about his fellow Orcs running away. My hope and prayer is for MUCH more to follow, just like this.

"Head of Russia's Wagner group admits Putin's soldiers are fleeing".
Putin has survived in power by pitting different power factions against each other. Now that strategy is demonstrably contributing to Russia's failure on the battlefield. And the counteroffensive (that some mistakenly think isn't coming) hasn't even started in earnest.

Imagine a country so morally bankrupt, that they not only steal land, children and elections, they even take stamp designs from Ukraine. How pathetic.

Seems like these are already in Ukraine. And I noticed that Priz got the ammo he asked for, it was kindly supplied by the AFU up his Orc ass.
