Rico was a great contributor to the game and I really liked his style about how he did things in life. Seemed like a great guy. He posted often about Sosua and always spoke the truth. It's a shame this guy was the epitome of health just a year ago and it looked like his heart went bad and he passed very recently.

I hope all people posting on this forum are about helping other brothers in the game, that's what Rico really seemed to be about. That's why I prefer South America, won't happen there. The level of disrespect in Dom Rep is more than troubling. Had several instances in the past bordering real trouble. The only solution for myself: I always immediately call the patrulla to end the shit.

Rico will be missed. He was a guy I checked in with every time I went to Sosua. He would tell me the new spots and I would always see him in the rotation. Starting out front of Mamaguanas (where Brooklyn at), then Romanitas and finishing at the late spot after hours. Talked to him recently and he was heading to the States for a procedure. He never complained. He was an asset to the travel community and a friend to everybody. RIP brother and thanks for all the good memories.

All experiences vary. Just because one has a bad hair day so to speak does not ruin plan for all others. Although I have not gone there since Covid I had very good time before. I do rent a car which gives me various opportunities to travel and get girls sometimes just by the side of the road pick up. Even in bars many girls seem mercenary there are some nice ones to be had. Cost wise it has gone up all over the world. Idea is to have a very good time within reasonable cost. Supply of girls who earn money by prostitution has gone down quite a bit all over the world because of improved education and economy. I remember on weekends In Sosua there were literally hundreds of girls coming some from as far as Sanyo Domingo, La Vega to make money. That supply has gone way down according to reports.

Bottom line is do not be put off by others experience. Try by diving in. If nothing else you have a tropical vacation.

The experiences of Mr. Mushuu are not invalidated by my experiences nor anyone else's. His idea that the girls are charging prices from the United States of America. I don't think so. Sosua has so many visitors from the United States of America making videos about the quality and price of the pussy they find in Sosua that the Minster of Tourism is on a crusade to rid Sosua of street prostitution. You don't live in the Dominican Republic so you might not be aware of the politics right now.

But where does that leave new guys like Mushuu or guys that do not want to fuck the same chicks over and over?

I got nothing for you because: 1. I don't run Sosua. 2. Unlike you, I don't worry about what anyone else is doing with their dick.

I thought you were a smart guy. Anyone who does not like Sousa is free to visit anywhere else in the world they wish to. I should not have to tell you that. But I guess that I do. Your position has always been that people who like Sousa do so because they have been to no other place in the world. I reject that notion. Of course I do not visit places just to look for girls to whom I can pay to have sex with me. Not my style.

He calls the Dominican Republic "a third world country". Who uses terms like that? The Dominican Republic is classified as a "middle income country". Finally he judges the entire Dominican Republic by a short visit to Sosua. I have addressed that in another post.

When I visit Thailand latter this year will I be able to judge an entire country by my visit to one or two cities? And then say I do not like the body types of the girls that are there and that every other place in the world will be better? I certainly could do that. But millions who don't bother to post on ISG will disagree with me by visiting and having a good time.

I just got back from Medellin. Took me about a week to develop my eye for girls there. They looked really strange to me. I could not figure out why so many had so much praise for the girls there. But then it hit me. It is the land of "knock kneed bimbos walking like ho's". No ass on those girls and most need to eat more or work out and build some muscle tone. I met a buddy over there. He showed me the ropes. I met several of his girl friends. Lovely girls. I am not going to take my initial thoughts on my visit to Medellin and say that is what all of Colombia is like.

No single guy is basing his decision to go to Sosua because of the nice beach.

Can you speak for all visitors to Sosua from the world over so that you know the reason they choose to visit?

I want to plan a trip to Sosua this summer. It will be just me, and it will be my first time in DR. I like to go big or go home. That and I'm fluent in Spanish.

I'll be reading through the forums, but if anyone wants to DM any advice I'll read that, too. I need to figure out where to stay, when to go, cheap flights, etc. And obviously anything and everything about the chicas.

Going to the Sosua and judging the entire Dominican Republic by what you see there is like going to Las Vegas and judging the entire United States of America by what you see on Las Vegas Blvd. The Dominican Republic is not a third world country. Only the misinformed use that term. The Dominican Republic is a middle income nation. Learn some Spanish. Bring your A personality game. Actually visit regular parts of the Dominican Republic and the impressions formed by those experiences may be different than the ones formed by a brief visit to Sosua.

Full disclosure: I did not initially like Sousa either. But now it is my go to vacation spot.

Mr. T, that should put to bed the idea that those who like Sosua simply do not know that there are better places out there. But if your only tools are a pocket full of condoms and a handful of DOP you might miss the subtle nature of the place. It becomes irrelevant that the Minster of Tourism is on a crusade to rid Sousa of street prostitution if you have built a network and don't rely on that source to find your girls.
