I just got back a couple of days ago after a Monday to Friday visit and can provide a few observations:

First, I read about the MIG form here, and in case anyone does a search for the form, be aware that the form is free. I noticed a bunch of "Sponsored" sites that as for payment. They are basically a scam. Make sure you go to the government site and fill out the free version (in English if you prefer). It is very easy.

I told this to many people in the WhatsApp groups and other forums and there's always that one "money don't matter to me" or "I'm just going to pay to make it easier" person that comes along and want to argue so I just stop saying anything and let people figure it out even though the website that makes them pay have a disclaimer that says they aren't affiliated.

Second, it was fucking hot. It was fucking hot in the daytime and fucking hot in the nighttime. Fucking hot and fucking humid. I am older and despite lots of water and sunscreen the weather got to me, even though I live in southern Florida. Sweating through three shirts a day and feeling chronically exhausted just didn't put me in a mood to fuck. It seems like the average temperature is about the same all year, but my guess is it is much more tolerable in the dry season when the humidity is low. Before I left the forecast was for lightning storms and rain the whole week. As it turns out there was barely a cloud, but as a result the humidity just hung around the whole week.

Yea summer time there don't play. The first time I went there in August I was walking around on the beach no shirt. I had it in my head "I was born in the Caribbean, I'm black, the fuck I need sunscreen for?" Two weeks later I get back state side, my dumb ass is peeling like a potato. I got burned up without even knowing it. That SPF 150 lives in my suitcase now. I learned jajaja.

Third, those who recommended an Airbnb over a "luxury" hotel were 100% correct. Not only did the hotel have a vigilant visitor policy, but I was issues a bracelet at check-in and had to wear it the whole visit. I had a room for two, and they asked whether my companion was with me, I said no, and the receptionist said something like "well, when you meet her she will have to check in." I chose not to check in a companion. As a result, I ended up with 3 girls, one for multiple visits, in their three shitty hotels.

Experience is the best teacher, now you know what to do to make your next trip even better.

Fourth, the city is a lot of fun. It is basically a tourist party town, and not even primarily US tourists. At this time of year a lot of South Americans come up for their winter vacation. The guy sitting next to me was half my age and a fluent Spanish-speaker, and we ended up going out on the "party bus", which I thought was a blast, and also doing a day trip to Club Bora Bora, which was very nice and ridiculously stupid to do without a hot date. He had an Airbnb, and ended up bringing several groups back to his place long after I was asleep. I will be using his spot for future visits. He was hitting on a variety of civvies with some success. It is very possible if you have game (speaking Spanish helps).

In terms of the girls, the first was 100 K COP off an ad site with a good local review, but looks were below average. Shitty hotel in the Bosque area, which was interesting. Second was a cute Venezuelan who listed 200 K COP, but who ended up at 300 K with oral natural and multiple pops. Her shitty hotel was in Bocagrande not too far from mine, and I ended up seeing her three times based on convenience, looks, and performance. The third was a clock tower pickup around 9 PM. Hot black Colombian chick with a sweet culona. 200 K quickie, plus 60 K for oral natural, in her shitty hotel which was just far enough away from the crowds that I would have bailed if we turned another corner and I didn't see people. I talked with a couple of other chicas in the clock tower area who quoted 300 K. Overall, my impression is that 300 K ($75/ HR) is the going rate, there are plenty of options at that price, and below that price you have to compromise looks or services. I am sure there are exceptions, but that seems to be where the market is. My Venezuelan quoted me $250 per day, or $200 per day for more than 3 days. I didn't discuss longer dates with any other girls, so that is one data point. In terms of the whole clock tower scene, I don't think I was out past 11 the whole trip (the mind was willing but the body was beat, and sometimes the mind wasn't even that willing). Even so, the first night I was there around 7 before the party bus and there were already a few girls out giving me the look. The last night there were probably a dozen girls within a block by 9 at night.

And now you see first hand when people say they only paid "low amount" you got an understanding of why and what they were paying for. Did you do any of the 3 main clubs to see the more in demand females?

Overall, as an exploratory visit, it was a success. Busted a sufficient number of nuts at an attractive price, and had a good time otherwise. Loved the food and the whole atmosphere. At the same time I definitely could do better with an Airbnb, good hydration and limited sun exposure, and longer dates in better surroundings. I am not a romantic, but I like at least some amenities. I will definitely also pace myself better, stay in the AC during the day, take a siesta, and head out after 10 at least one night to see the clock tower scene in full bloom. For me it is a cheap flight, and given the deplorable state of the hobby in southern Florida I can do a trip for the price of a couple of hour dates here. It may not be as inexpensive or enjoyable as it used to be, but it is still a great destination as far as I am concerned.

First trip is always tricky but once you know, you know, and now you know.

Nah. I know how to do research. The clock tower girl was risky but I made sure we didn't go anywhere where there weren't a number of other people visible, and as it happens I didn't have anything worth taking on me other than what I was paying the girl. TS, the best high end clubs in Colombia are in Medellin, La Isla and Face Dos.

There are higher end clubs in North Bogota but honestly the women in them are not better looking than Santa Fe, so you are paying more and not getting anything better. Santa Fe is sketchy but you can take any girl out of the club or off the street for a lot less than the Northern clubs, and I have never had anything happen to me there. I knew an Asian guy who went every day for months and the only issue he had was when he left his drink unattended and got drugged. The majority of women in Santa Fe are not attractive but usually once a night, I would find an 8 or 9 to jump on.

IMO Bogota is probably the best city in the world for women. The Medellin women tended to all be hooker types IMO. The ones I met in Medellin and liked were always from somewhere else and were just there for school.

I have an apartment with my gal in Cartagena and honestly I have not seen near the lookers here I have in Bogota or Medellin.

The reason to come to Cartagena is the weather and beach. Bogota has pollution, high elevation, and horrible traffic. There are some beauties here but you are going to pay a lot for them and the town is much, much smaller than Bogota..

It's okay to move differently. My aim is to have fun and enjoy myself wherever I go. No one designated Cartagena an official mongering destination last time I checked. Yes YouTubers and travel influencers are bad for business other than that I'm not sure what your issue is.

That is where you are wrong not everyone main objective is the women not everyone is a hardcore monger. Last trip in May I came down with six guys age 26-32 all celebrating different things. Main objective was to enjoy ourselves. We did a lot of tourist activities went to regular clubs picked up regular girls and other female tourists. We also went to the beach and all the mongering clubs, bought bottles nightly. If someone liked a chick they would take them out the club. Our Airbnb was stocked with alcohol and other party favors plus a pool so the girls actually enjoyed partying with us and made money while doing so. Some days some guys didn't feel the need to take anyone either from exhaustion or their balls were already drained from other tourist or girls we met. Bottom line is the main objective was to have fun and mongering is just a nice second option. We've done the same things in Mexico, DR and coming up is Thailand.

As far as the girls working out of the Country it's economics. I've been coming to Colombia since 2018 and a large amount of the girls I know have travelled to work. They can simply make more in Europe, Dubai, and Mexico. One of my favorite medellin girls no longer works in Colombia exclusively Panama and Mexico. As much as you want blame groups of guys for this trend it's simply economic factors.

You got to stop kidding yourself. Ask yourself this question. If Colombia doesn't have beautiful women are you still going to come?

The only sex shop I can recall is when I left Monkey Bar and started walking towards the clocktower. It's on that same street as Monkey Bar before reaching Alquimico but I can't remember the name.
There's another in Bocagrande across from the Intercontinental Shopping mall.

Hotel El Porvenir is across the street from Hotel El Viajero and it also works well. My own approach is that I rent a room in either one of those spots, apart from where I'm actually staying. I'm a great believer in decoupling. I tip the staff in both those hotels well; I go there often enough so that makes some sense. I bring my own toys, typically a couple of vibrators, oils and balms, so unfortunately I can't help with sex shops, but I think I saw the one in Bocogrande a couple of months back. I leave the toys in the love motel.

I don't believe you can buy a Shibari Mini Halo Vibrator in Cartagena and I'd recommend you have one. I have always said the way to do Cartagena is to get a woman or preferably women from another city and fly them down here. If you get the right woman or women, you will have the time of your life and almost all the women in Bogota want to go where it is warmer even for a short time.

If I was going to go that route then I would do San Andres instead. It is cheaper and the beaches are nicer. You don't have all those touts either. Also, a plus for non Spanish speakers, everyone on San Andres speaks English!
