So I'm a former resident of Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong) for nearly 20 years with extensive experience throughout. I'll be in Bangkok for a week very soon for the first time in 10 years or so. I'm debating on whether to focus on looking for non- or part-time pros the MBK / Siam Square area which I used to know very well, versus Ratchada 17 area or thereabouts. Also looking for budget hotel or airBnB recommendations. The closer I can get to Siam Square (ideally) or a MRT or Skytrain station the better. I also have mobility issues (prosthetic leg below the knee) so I don't really want to walk very far.

I had Muangphol Mansion on my shortlist due to location near MBK / Siam Square / Paragon but I'm not sure they're guest friendly or not and apparently the internet there is non-existent.

As far as Ratchada, looking into Atrium Ratchada 13 or Watana Mansion, which I know are both guest friendly. Never set foot in that area in my life though so the decision is to go where I know, or try the new area which has tons of potential.

I think Lucy is pronounced "lucky" by the taxi guys. In any case it is an after hours club. I was told girls from Mixx go there if they are without customer. Talking of Mixx I was there last night and it was full of ladyboys some of whom walk around Sukhumvit all the time.

Got in very late and was eager to get started, so even though I knew going anywhere at 1 am was not going to be very productive, headed out to Soi Cowboy and yes, slim pickings.
