Re reading many reports questions of safety come up.

I have met women all over the country in person, and using tinder, and also meeting girls in the ol HDR, cocal, local bars and the beaches.

I speak ok Spanish but in the beginning I knew none.

In all that time I have never ever had a dealing with a woman where they put my safety in danger. At least that I knew of. I have had many in the apartments I have rented. I have not found the ladies to be advanced at running games.

The only time I can even think of was after I came back from a short time with a Nica in Jaco ant an st cabin near coral, and what I believe was her drunk boyfriend on the street. He was not making much sense and yelling, but I was able to avoid him easy enough and got in a cab and left.

Of course you have to pay attention but overall CR is a very safe place for us gringos. If you meet a girl and she likes you, rent a car and she will travel with you anywhere and be your eyes and ears. SJ I guess could be a place to proceed with extra caution but I have always found it safer than most bad parts in the avg Gringo city.

Friday was a great night in the hotel sports bar; at least 50 girls filtering in and out. Saturday was slower, but still about 30 girls. I'm headed to SJO / Jaco for the next 8+ days, two days in SJO, and 6-7 days in Jaco. Primarily looking to relax and "re-acquaint" myself with the local talent as this is my first trip since the dreaded 'VID.

I'm staying at the Taormina on the first night and will certainly take a stroll (or two) around the bar area and see if anything piques my interest. I usually stay at the S / L; however, too many negative reports. My plane doesn't land until 1900, so a S / T on the first night will be just fine. The next day I plan to stop by Monica's for a session on my way to Jaco. I've been there previously; however, my primary has since "left the building". She was a sweetie and will be missed.

Lastly, if any of you have specific questions relative to any of the above, send them over and I will do my best to answer. As is customary, I will report back any findings to pay for those that have certainly helped me with my ventures.

I am headed down in September and also staying at an Airbnb and wondering how you kept your mongering activities in Hotel Castillo? Do they allow a short term room if you are not booked to stay there? Are you picking them up at HC and then going to a place like La Oficina or Hotel Asia? I have a few that I am already talking to on Tinder / WhatApp and Skokka / Wilas and might get to a point where I bring one of them back to the Airbnb if I feel comfortable with them, but for the day to day and quick fixes, I was thinking of the pensions / massage parlors and renting a room at the hourly places for a girl I want to meet or pull from one of the hotel bars, so they won't know where I am staying in case they are thieves or worse.

The girls in the hotel bars will probably be a lot safer than those you pull from Tinder or other sites. I wouldn't worry so much about them knowing where you are staying as long as there is security in the building you are staying in. And if you find an Airbnb that allows visitors that will be a bonus. Most don't.

As far as ATMs go. In the airport I believe there is still one by the BCR kiosk in the departures terminal

There is also 1 ATM by the luggage terminals, in the Right corner as you arrive. However, the exchange rate at this ATM is Horrible. Approximately 100 colones per dollar less than at other ATMs in Costa Rica.

Hit town yesterday for a weeks stay.

Landed at 12:30 pm and immigration was a little crowded, but only about 15 minutes. Stopped in the Duty Free and picked up, a couple bottles of wine for the hotel; Chilean merlot $13, Yellow Tail Chardonnay $12: $25 total. Had a driver waiting for me, $30, standard fare. No traffic to the hotel (unusual for the afternoon), was there in 30 minutes.

The little shop around the corner from the Dunn Inn has closed. I have a local friend who will pick up some refreshments from Walmart for me and bring this afternoon. She arranges my hotel stay, transportation and can arrange an prescriptions and debta care as well. She can get any prescription through her pharmacy contact. If you book at the Taormina through her, they waive the standard Chica fee at the Taormina; one girl.

Per day. Thereafter, is a charge of $12.

The Taormina is the place to stay nowadays. Girls started arriving about 2 pm. By 6 pm there were at least 30 girls who filtered through the bar and casino areas; a couple "8"s, mostly 5 - 7; some chunky, if that's your thing. One girl told me that she and her friends avoid the HDR got business and rotate between Sportsman's, Castillo and the Taormina. I was in the HDR for 10 days in June. They are definitely still "girl friendly". There are still working ticas there looking for customers like in the old days just not as many as in the old days and not quite the talent level as the old days. They of course still charge their tica fee when you take a girl up to your room, but that's always been the case with them.

Not for 100 MG ones. The cheapest I could find costed about $3 in Medellin per 100 MG tablet. If you know any place selling cheaper in Medellin please let me know.

Probably girl friendly, although a fee to take them to your room if you stay there. But it is virtually empty. No one goes there any more. The Taormina is the place where there are the most chicas circulating through, and Sportsmens will have some of the same ones circulating through in afternoon and evening.

I was in Taormina in May and the standard rate for one hour session is $80-$100. All of the girls I had sessions with did BBBJ. Of all the girls I talked to in the hotel, only one, a Dominican said she would not do BBBJ. So if things are slow for the girls you might get $80 but to make them happy and get quality service the standard is cien to get top girls there. I would usually pay for 1 1/2 hrs for 60 K colones which converts to $111. I paid 70 K colones to a girl for all night which converts to $130 but I did buy her dinner as well. To me to get excellent service I don't care whether I have to pay $80 or $100. In a week I had about 12 sessions with 5 different women and not a single one was bad. I didn't even bother to go to Sportsmens or HDR.
