Lek Hotel 750b, on Second Rd, nice facilities and recommended.

Apex 500b, on Second Rd, would not recommend (room smelled smoky and a bit seedy).


King Kong bar on soi 6, I had a good experience here. 2 pops for the short time price, sweet girl.

My favourite go-gos: Obviously could not try all of them, but I most liked Carousel on soi Diamond, and Happy a Go-Go.


Took a side trip to Ko Samet, this is a really chilled out and nice place if you like a backpacker scene. If you want company on Ko Samet, the best way is to bring your favourite girl from Pattaya.

Wanted to verify that, from my experience of spending a week there last year, Siam Bayshore is NOT guest friendly. Sex police roam the grounds at all hours. speed touch – first visit to thailand (..continuing from my bangkok report)

day 6 – got a taxi from the majestic to pattaya with two american guys who were heading in the same direction. paid taxi driver 1000 baht (+200 tip). i had a reservation at the dynasty inn, but we check out a few other hotels as my new friends didn’t have reservations, but new pattaya from previous trips. first sunshine hotel, asked porter if girl friendly. he said if they weren’t they’d have no business. rooms not good enough. sandy springs (soi13)…nice new hotel, but quoted 2000 baht, overpriced. next dynast inn (soi 13)…next door to sand springs. some construction work next door so we asked to look at a room on the non construction side. saw the standard (good) and the deluxe (good, but bigger). i decided to stay there. cost 1200 baht per night). my friends went on and checked in at the penthouse. between 1000-1500 baht i think.

in the evening i went to walking street…wow. my friends showed me the decent go go, ie living dolls, super baby etc. we split up as the night went on. i ended up playing connect 4 (first time in years for me) with a girl called pam. bar fined her (200b) spent the night with her and gave her 1000. she was good and i stuck it her ass too!
