This kind of bullshit happened to me at a higher end hotel in Medellin so I complained to manager and expedia booked me an even nicer room at an better hotel but they had the same 1 girl policy. Fuck me! So I wound up getting an additional cheaper, short time hotel not far away for extra innings. The original hotel also had no sex tourism signs in the lobby which should have been my first clue. Why the fuck does hotel staff care who you fuck or how many? So, I have never been back to Colombia. But I had a great time there nevertheless.

I don't know, to me it's easier to accept the no-sex-tourism policy than, as another member put it, we don't like prostitutes, but if you pay more, they're fine. I mean, a hotel is a private business. If the proprietor doesn't want prostitutes in their establishment, I'm willing to respect it. A "joiner" fee, on the other hand, is a fucking scam. Fuck that, I'd never knowingly stay at a hotel that charges that fee.

On a different note, I've stayed in non-GF hotels and apartments in Rio, and it's fine. With everything Rio has to offer -- prives, termas, motels -- it's not even necessary to bring anyone home. Of course, that's if you prefer sleeping alone. If you like to nut as soon as you wake up in the morning, that's another story, kkkk.

Let me first explain Darkroom for noobs. It's address is Praça Olavo Bilac 28. You go into the building and you need to show ID. So have some sort of ID with you. Once you get a card from the security desk, you go towards the turnstiles leading to the elevator. To get to Darkroom, you must go to the 20th floor, then getting off the elevator you go right and you look for the sign that says "Cobertura" follow those red Cobertura signs to a door that leads to a new stairway. Go up those stairs and first door you see you go in. Then you look for the door "Cobertura 6". That's Darkroom. The desk lady speaks basic English.

On my upcoming trip, I'm most looking forward to the clinicas. Yes, that's odd. But so am I. LOL. I've done alot of research and understand the differences in services, house rules, etc. But I have two questions:

1-Has anyone used Prisma Terapias? When I look at their site, they have alot more girls than most other clinicas. They are clearly a business, meaning they aren't really just a list of therapists. They have two locations. And their girls, in my opinion, are a step above other clinicas, at least as far as appearance, to the point where it almost feels TGTBT. I'm certain the photos are complimentary and touched up. But just curious if anyone has experience.

2-Similar question but are the majority of the therapists in Rio free agents? From what I've read, some of these therapists have a dedicated room in a specific clinica. But it seems like many may move around, not only to different locations with the same business but even different businesses / houses on a daily basis.

I stopped at the desk so I could register my GF and the night manager looked up my room in the system and said "Oh yes, You are Fabyana right?" Wow that really sucks! I was at Windosor Leme for the first time last week and was really impressed. Good to know that level of service is not reflected across the whole chain.

When people give a hotel review, they should include all the details, especially ones that pertain to having female guests.

100% agree. I'm not picking on you or the hotel. But one thing WE can improve is our reports on the girl-friendliness of the hotel. I've spent a lot of time trying to find GF-hotels and weigh that against other priorities that are important to me. And just finding out guest policies is not easily available on this site. (That problem is compounded by changing policies.) But point well taken; we can help each other out in the Hotels and Rooms forum on the Rio site. (Brazil vets probably don't have this challenge, but as a newb to Rio, I've found it frustrating. And it's definitely not just a Brazil problem.) I will say that I'm booked at a Windsor in Copa. But I did knowingly book it with the knowledge guests aren't allowed, even with a fee. I plan on consumating elsewhere. LOL But, I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

3rd and Final Fuck You: I asked the manager "Ok, how can we resolve this issue?" he looked at me and said the only way to have multiple guests is. I have to book a NEW room every morning and register each female. I said "That doesn't make any damn sense, I already paid for 5 days. Are you saying I have to pay for ANOTHER room in addition to my current room? You can't just charge me a guest fee?" he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I know that is expensive but we don't have guest fees here. The only option is for you to book a 2nd room and you would have to book it every morning and go thru the checkout / check in process every morning too". I was livid at the craziness. " I calmly said This is ridiculous. Someone should have explained the guest policy in great detail when I asked. There is no way in hell I am going to pay for 2 rooms in the same hotel. ".
