Big Tree as in The New Big Tree Hotel. Bora Bora stage for Matatu, Bodas etc. Big Tree is hit and miss during the day, go after 1 pm, the Foam party can be good on a Friday from 9 pm.

Check out Mona Lisa hotel very central location just short walk from Casaurinha. Didn't have any issues bringing back girls but I discussed that topic in advance before booking. Very clean place. Never had anything missing from safe box (unlike in Cowrie shell hotel).

I paid something like 3000 shilling a night if I remember well. This was in February 2020 so maybe things changed.

Regarding apartments only booked once an apartment in Mtwapa and it was really bad dirty despite the high ratings it got on booking.com so better take a look yourself first.

Great I added it to my list. The Monalisa Hotel on La Marina Road. I will try the hotel experience, I may like it better than apartment. Doesn't look they have a website, only phone number.

What I use to be certain that I can get different girls every night:

In one Nairobi hotel there was difference girl visiting and girl sleeping, it was OK for visit before midnight, but for sleep I had to pay for two.

In Bamburi beach, some hotels I had to book room for two person, then girl coming for night was not a problem. Check that one before you book, if booked only one person then maybe you need to pay extra for each girl.

Threesome is often problem, they don't allow two girls because they may get problems with police? Actually at some point I did not find any hotel which would have allowed two girls, for that you need to rent apartment. I don't know how it is nowadays.

Prestige in Mtwapa is ok pricewise. But Standard is rather low. But you can bring Girls without Problem. The Rooms are big, but run down. Place is secured, so no problem. You even have two pools on the premises.

When you book in direct contact with the Hotel you will get an big Apartment Room for 2500 KES. PM me for the Number when you are interested.

I by myself will stay in Mtwapa 28.10-11.11. 2023 in an new Apartment from someone who normally lives there, but will not be there during this time. He charges me 16 k per week, so this is an nice deal for an new apartment. But energy comes on top of that, but still good.

Considering nightlife seems to be centered around Mtwapa area, I wanted to follow someone's advice here and get an apartment in Mtwapa. My reasoning is that I would rather remain local in the evening / night. I can travel to Bamburi during the day.

Any advice on Mtwapa apartments?

I found many apartments on Booking and the ones with most reviews are Merry Villa Hotel and Hyven's Apartments. Does anyone know if they are girl friendly? Of course I can ask them myself but if they already have a reputation that may be unnecessary.

Also I don't understand how can they be so cheap. Some are 30 or less per night.

What you say about Mtwapa being a shadow of what it used to be made me a little sad. :'D.

I was going to book the whole stay so I must thank you. I won't do that and maybe book the first 3 nights as you suggested.

Is there the risk that everything will be fully booked when I get there in October-November? I was getting a little anxious because of this prospect.

If I can just look for apartments once I get there and book directly I'd feel much better.

Who are the Malayas? I googled it and could only find references to Malaysia.

Fully booked? Mtwapa has so much accommodation. Certain places maybe during Christmas / New Year. And mostly on the beach. I doubt it. Generally speaking high season runs November till March. Mtwapa has a huge range of accommodations. I've never seen it fully booked. Malaya is the expression for hooker. Never say that to a girl. Nobody wants to be addressed as hooker. LOL. There is none. Only sweet lasses in need of funding. You never pay for "sex" you pay for "transport". It's hypocrisy of course. But these are the rules. There's a lot of competition of the girls and if they don't like each other. They usually start a smear campaign denouncing their colleagues (competition) as hooker aka Malaya. Or even more hilarious. HIV positive.
