Unfortunately, for the first time in dozens of 'just looking' visits I have made to that site, including quite recently, it looks like I have suddenly been blocked! LOL. No explanation. No owner's email address or any other link included to find out why and how to regain acess to it. Blocked.

If anybody does know how to get unblocked from fiwfans or how I can at least find out what it was about my casual perusing of the site that got me blocked from it, thanks in advance for the info.

Hmm clicking FF links from another site always goes to the Blocked page, but I just refresh and its fine, I'm using Brave browser, not sure if that matter. Pasting URL into my chrome incognito worked fine. Make sure its the new vip domain too, its not dot com anymore.

After reading this, I tried to access and the message said I am blocked. I cleared the cache, cookies and history and tried, still the same result. I am using Chrome to access this site.

Then I tried the VPN and chose Thailand as location.

Boom no issues, I can access the site with no issues. So it is either looking at your IP address, location or both. I will later try different location and see how they are blocking access.

Be careful doing this though. I'd have a long discussion with the airline first and book directly through the airline. I used to do this many years ago. Things are very different now so do you due diligence with the airline you're flying with. I can see some airlines saying it's an empty seat and booking another ticket for that seat for a last minute traveler. An extra buck is more valuable than your loyalty.

One good thing about flying during COVID or right after it was that planes were empty. Not anymore!

Based on the actual booking process on Turkish Airlines, they seem to work a bit differently than most airlines. I could not select my economy seat unless I specifically booked an empty seat next to me, which is different than just booking 2 unspecified seats. Fortunately, you learn that you cannot select your economy seat before you give them your credit card number, unlike some airlines where you have to give credit card information before you even know what seats are available. I have no idea how seats are assigned if you purchase a single economy seat on Turkish Airlines. Perhaps that system is only used on some flight routes, I don't know the limitations.

i agree with the concept of booking only with the airline. Go ahead and look at Priceline (and others) to get an idea of what is available, but booking is best done directly with the airline. It gives more options and it eliminates the middle man in case there are last minute travel problems.

Flying business class on Philippines Airlines used to be double the coach class. That was many years ago. Now it is about 4 x the economy fare. So. I might try your idea of booking 2 adjoining economy seats for comfort. Of course, the service and meals are not the same, but I like your thinking. Party on.

Only Business class for me. 4 times economy cost I don't know as I don't book that option. I just can't see myself standing in that long line at the airport, especially in the PI.

Are you using a VPN?

You have not been blocked! Just use a different browser and you will be able to use it again. If you had been blocked by Fiwfans, you will get a notice page hosted on Fiwfans, not a page like this.

I think it is a security feature adopted by Fiwfans, it won't work sometimes when you click on Fiwfans link from a different webpage like ISG. If it is Chrome/Safari (usually works in Firefox), just clear everything once and copy and paste the link in your browser, don't click on it.

Be careful doing this though. I'd have a long discussion with the airline first and book directly through the airline. I used to do this many years ago. I was on one flight where a guy named Karen decided he wanted to move to my extra aisle seat instead of sitting in the middle of 2 people in the middle section of the plane. I told him he can't sit there I paid for that seat and he got upset and just sat there. I decided to argue with him for fun for a bit then said enough is enough I'll just call the flight attendant and told her nicely the guy was sitting in my paid seat. He refused to show a seat ticket when asked. I held up my 2 seat tickets and she got him to move. I purposely walked by him many times during the flight and waved both my tickets towards him.

…Turkish Airlines through Istanbul is likely to be one of those (flies to more countries than any other airline in the world). Flew with them to the Philippines in Business Class and the flight / service was great!

Turkish Airlines seems to be forgotten by many, but their prices are normally a bit lower than the competition. They don't get the consistently high reviews like Qatar or Emirates or some others, but I'll be flying them next trip to save some money. They also have a deal where you can pay a bit more money and get 2 economy seats for a bit more comfort at a much lower price than business class.

Yeah, the 24-hour flight is grueling and most international trans-pacific flights from the USA arrive after 10 pm BKK time. Still, no matter how late I arrive or how exhausted I felt on the plane coming over, once I arrive in BKK I can't wait to check into my hotel, shower, change, and hit the soi to find a nice girl.

I have gone to Thailand over the Atlantic with a stop in Doha on Qatar Airways. I recall that although the journey was long, my flight arrived in Bangkok at like 9 or 10 in the morning. Not bad! Other options at the time were Emirates with a plane change in Dubai and Lufthansa with a connection in Frankfurt. I'm sure there are even more options if you can depart from the east coast. Turkish Airlines through Istanbul is likely to be one of those (flies to more countries than any other airline in the world). So having enjoyed 10 nights in Pattaya, mainly in Gents Clubs, headed to Bangkok a city I know quite well from many trips. On many previous trips I've pretty much concentrated on The area between Nana, via Thermae on Sukhumvit and onto Soi Cowboy, though in 2022 I did have fun on Soi 11 (Suk). This time I wanted to try something a little different, and decided that I would only spend 2 of my 5 nights in those old haunts and for the rest would head to Surawong / Thaniya / Silom area for a change. I was glad I did.

Stayed at various locations including the Okura Prestige very nice indeed though thought the cantilever pool would be the main attraction but it wasn't all that. The lobby and the rooms are superb. Jumped on the BTS to Phrom Phong to check out the "Stocking Spa massage". Appreciate there is a dedicated MP thread so will keep this short fancied the idea of a sexy massage from a hostess in suspenders well was disappointed the girls line up in the parade wearing tights / pantyhose and don't wear stockings with the thick tops at all. 7 girls to chose from and Sky was the best. Stunning slim brunette who made the journey worthwhile chose the Nuru option for 3500 and it was worth every penny everything included.

Decided to do my normal walk in reverse and headed to Cowboy. Absolutely rammed despite the torrential rain no surprise of course as this is rainy season. The overall noise volume has increased somewhat and I found myself asking what on earth I was doing there! Whilst I'm not old and I dolike some great music this was deafening. Conversations are therefore partly shouting. Awful. For old times sake took a beer in each of Baccara, Shark and Suzy Wong's but with one stand out 9/10 in Shark the offerings were poor.

On to Thermae same old You'll find someone to your liking but the format walking that circle isn't the best and the venue is looking tired and past it. Still jam packed inside so I suppose it works and the good news is that it's possible to have a conversation which I found almost impossible in Cowboy. In the many years I've frequented this bar I think I've only taken maybe 5 girls and as I left it I vowed not to return but my guess is I will do!..

Very nice report with lots of options for the monger who is looking for some variety. I did not know about the "Stocking Spa massage". My stay there in BKK is only for six days and I have one chance for the Nuru massage. I have had one before at Doki Doki when it was newly opened. So, I must pick the right one. Looked at their FB page, which does not have much information. My other option is Ola Ola.

Well it is kinda sad.

Of course then comes the absolutely insane cost at GoGo bars. They really are directed at the two week millionaires. Your easily going to drop 150 USD at best and LT, jeez, that's just nuts.

Well I'm a little wacky with no budget, but I agree the costs are insane and sometimes even laughable. That's why I use the Go-Go's to warm up and then I go out and talk to the deaf girls.
