This is probably not a true report. Wanted to share an experience I had yesterday where I could bail out with a small loss. Hit up a girl on badoo. She said colombian / bonaires. We decided to meet in a latino bar that allows only couples in Barsha area. She mentioned that she is from RAK, and she is new to this place (bar). Walked in with her. Told the bar guy, that I would like to periodically pay up the tab instead of waiting for until end. He gets the tab, and I see that he has charged twice the amount on a few drinks. I asked him to check and he goes and says that the girl ordered double of double shots. In the meantime, the girl walks to the bathroom, and I sip a drink. It was just colored drink with no whiskey in it (which is why she was drinking like crazy and was steady) . Decided to wind up. Payed up dues and walked out.

BTW, the girl was cute and she said no to coming with me since she wanted to take it slow since it was the first date (what a BS). She leads me outside and says that she is waiting for her brother to pick her up. I can't believe that I got ripped off when being alert.

Went to York where it was a different experience. The waiters were nice, and they asked me what to serve for ladies sitting with me. Integrity at York seems better than these one-off clubs! Obviously the waiter asked me for a drink (as she was helping me find girls to sit with me). I said, do you drink and she said she will take the money for the drink. I prefer honesty. FWIW.

Anyone word on Nargui Five and Marbaiya Lounge? Both are close to Club Blu and give pick up vibes. Not sure if anyone had any luck at these joints.

Outstanding run down of both clubs, thank you. Club Blu is not my thing (far too loud, too dark, too small, too many couples), but I will give Premier a shot.

I'll add that my visit to Sky 2. 0 (popular nightclub) was decent. Fun atmosphere, solid music, good drinks, etc. The WGs there are obvious because they'll usually be standing around aimlessly or a lone, especially as the night goes on and the non-WGs who came with groups start to leave.

Sometimes one gets tired of going to the usual meat markets and just needs to hunt in a different environment.

Bring currency and exchange it at the shopping malls. Travelex complete rip off, if you use an exchange at a mall which is touristy the rate will not be as keen as an exchange at a mall which is less tourist focused. I tend to use Festival City, Mirdiff or Diera CC.

Not sure if this post belongs in this thread but wanted to find out where to exchange foreign currency to local currency to pay for the nightly adventures? I know airports and hotels exchange counters are expensive. Is there a better option outside of these venues to get a good rate? Obviously ATM has a daily limit on the withdrawal amount. Thanks.

The major difference between the two is Premier is in you face pickup joint and Club Blue not so much.

It revived my perspective that "normal" nightclubs can indeed be a practical place to find WGs. Granted, Sky 2. 0 and many other popular nightclubs do not like single men entering. They either want mixed groups, mixed couples, or VIP / table reservations. I was lucky to get in as I had reserved a bar spot with a minimal spend amount (they still stopped me at the door, ready to deny). I may not be so lucky next time unless I came with a mixed group or a woman. Or I reserve another spot again.

In one instance the guy at the desk said she was a "security threat" and left it at that.

The second time the guy at the desk said the girl had already been up to someone else's room.

Security threat = there was a previous instance of theft or damage or some other incident involving her. The punter did not want to have the police involved. The hotel security would have flagged her profile. You should be thanking the desk. They saved you a whole bunch of trouble. She is fine in a public areas and they can't monitor who comes and goes in a restaurant.

Already Registered = someone had taken her up already and they put it into the system. In most hotels this will be a problem if it is entered in the system and not only passport retained.
