I have a Patek Philippe (you would have to look that name up) but I go to Sosua and have been going there for a decade now and indeed look forward to going there. Also, guess what, I once left my Rolex in a hotel in Bonao and when I remembered, probably two days later, I called the girl I was with. She said she remembered seeing the watch on the bedside table. I called the hotel and they said, yes, they have it. The maid found it. I had to drive all the way from Santiago to get it.

You guys makes this shit look like rocket science. Buying pussy is real simple. Sosua is a s basic as it gets. During the week things are a little slow with the local girls selling their wares. Many of these girls have been on the stroll for 10 years or more. They are well pass their prime and grateful when they score. The weekend is where the streets fill and the action picks up. A few 100 girls from all over the Island show up hoping to find clients to pay their bills. One session makes them more money then they make in a 48 hour work week. There are many gems for those who have an eye for such things. The scammers are the exception not the rule. If you are patient you can have some great experiences. You do not need tinder or any other help to find women in. *You do make a good point that the person with the money is the boss and has control. I have been in game long enough to have a small harem of winners so Sosua not my go to spot any more.

I have a thing if you ask for cash you go to the back of the line or delete. Question my time there I thought the sosua, Puerto plata girls more pleasant and the Santo Domingo girls more of the trouble makers. I must say I can count on one hand issues with a chick but that's because I choose vibes over looks. That said what's the experience with most recent visitors to give an accurate view on the demographics.

Here is my two cents worth: In the good old days, which means prior to the INTERNET, everything happened in person. You check the goody / ies and then invite. A sane person should invite for a drink or water, that gets you an opportunity to size up the other (I wonder what they did in the pre google translate days though, but digressing). I would definitely recommend the invite for a drink as this gives you an opportunity to figure out if you indeed want to walk in to your room with an unknown entity. The good thing about online is that hopefully you know more about the person through chats but proof of the pudding is still in the EATING. That is how the saying goes the other side of the pond. If it is WINE and DINE dictated by the other party, it certainly is not worth it. But if it gives you a better buzz, I am sure most would be obliging you. I would do that only if I had an established rapport, which means not the first time.

I might add a couple things: in these countries I go "inexpensive". IOW, leave your luxury Swiss watch at home, same for your latest Ultra / Pro Max. An old smartphone and a cheap but robust watch will do just fine. Even clothes: you can look nice sans expensive designer stuff. You will draw far less attention from the wrong kind of people if you don't look like a fully decorated Christmas tree. That'll help you with the chicas in the room as well: tell them openly that there just isn't stuff worthwile nicking.

Do you speak any Spanish? My advice would be to tell your taxi driver o take you to a banco popular and just use the ATM- 10,000 should do you with a little extra. You can cash it out later.

There is a booth down the way a bit from the Jolly Roger on the same side that will treat you fairly. There are better spots but 1 or 2 percent will not be any good if you get cheated- you probably want pesos before you get to Sosua though. You will need to pay for the cab etc- you will get screwed if you pay in dollars- let me know how the whole thing works out- leave Sosua at 1 - you will probably have lots of time but the later you leave it the worse the traffic is on the detour. I'm short on time and only have one shot at it so, I'm probably going to do Sosua. I probably plan to leave at 1 maybe 2 if I was dumb to see a girl the last minute. That should give me enough time to get back to the ship which leaves at 4. My last question is, where the best place to change money is. I was going to use dollars but I read a lot about using their money. Thanks.

For money, are their ATMs regularly available and fair? Used to going to ATMs and taking local currency as needed. Not carrying large amounts or keeping it in the room.

Plenty of ATM's. Fair? That is between you and your bank. But remember even if you keep small amounts of money, chica proof your room.

Well. You can hit Sosua in the afternoon and you might luck out with a gem but the action usually warms up as the day and night go on- anyway. It is doable. Hotel Central on the strip will give you a room short term for 500 pesos. You should be able to find a girl. Be aware that the trip can take longer than an hour. The bridge in Cangrejo is out and the detour can get pretty bad traffic jams sometimes. If you are just looking to get laid stay in Puerto Plata and go to Blackbeards. If you have to see Sosua then you should be able to get the job done- you might spend an hour getting some advice in a bar before you pull one.
