I know of a couple guys who have been blackmailed on WhatsApp. Best not to give amy personal information that they can Google and get even more personal information.

The Castillo gets a regular clientele there, especially during football (American football) season. The only time I stayed there I got one of the "Penthouse Suites" ; very spacious with a covered outdoor sitting area. The suites tend to a bit noisy as parties move to them after the bar closes.

The Taormina and Sportsman's are the go to places for most of the girls now. October, November and December are very popular months for the Gringo hotels. In fact, the Taormina is increasing the nightly room rates for, Halloween and Super Bowl weekend because of their popularity.

I was last at the Taormina in July and from Wednesday to Saturday the bar was packed at night. It really drops off from Sunday through Tuesday.

I'll be back at the Taormina in a couple weeks and will provide an update.

Interesting. Thanks for the update and that would make total sense. It's a bit of a shame really. I got to experience the tail end of the glory days in CR. I started going in 2017 and can't believe how packed HDR and the Cocal were with girls from all over Latin America relative to now. There are (fortunately) enough Ticas to bridge the gap, but part of the fun was the variety and better leverage with pricing. I'll be back down in a week's time to scope it out. I wonder if any Venezuelans are making their way onto the scene given the recent migratory crisis.

Just returned from a short stay in San Jos. Stayed at the Taormina for three nights and two nights at Hotel Castillo. Thought I'the try something new at the Castillo. Very unimpressed. The no guest fee and all inclusive (food and drinks) are a plus, but the room was small, almost claustrophobic, and not as nice as rooms at the Taormina, which aren't that great but good enough for what you're there for.

A few women (I can't remember there ever being more than three, almost all on the mature side) were at the Castillo every now and then, but the Taormina was hopping. I was there in Feb / March and there was a good number in the upstairs bar but only a smattering in the Jungle Bar. This time the upstairs bar was packed and the Jungle Bar was hopping too. I would say almost twice as many women, which I wasn't expecting during the rainy season. There were even women there in the morning; I didn't see any until mid-afternoon in Feb / March.

There were a variety of women at the Taormina, in a range of ages, shapes, sizes, and shades.

$80 per session is the settlement price for many of them. That may be a short time. Generally till you are done, or an hour, whichever is sooner. $800 is just a crazy shot at a payday. Perhaps for a couple of days that would be a number. Still high, but closer.

If you want to pay 800 to help her family go for it. I've done worse than that when I've fallen in love so to speak. But just be aware that there is no upper limit to what is needed when there is a family to take care of.
