Planning my first time here for at most 14 days in Cartagena for a solo trip and wanted to know if this is the best place to find 10's and "best looking" girls or even the "best at sex". Or would anyone say my time would be better spent split between here and Medelland or another recommendation. And what would be the min peso amount a 10 would realistically take?

I'm on the short side out as a minority gringo under 5'9, if anyone has experience compared to the taller gringos when picking up girls like being rejected.

This varies so much. You shouldn't be so schematic.

1. Best looking girls is entirely subjective. What is a 10 to me will probably not be a 10 to you.

2. Best at sex will vary among the posters here. It depends entirely on what you want, the girl, and how she's feeling.

3. Cartagena is a much safer place for a sex vacation than Medellin, in my opinion, but it depends.

4. Cost depends on you. Do you speak Spanish? What girls are you looking for? If you want to taste a new muchacha each day, it will be more expensive than wiring up.

Your height doesn't matter. The working girls are not turning down a man based on height, and you are above average.

Nice review but I have to note that many (if not most) AIR BnB restrict guest entry in Cartagena and stipulate this on the description of the property under rules. Review carefully before you commit and reserve your space. Also, Cartagena has changed significantly through the years as it pertains to mongering. A lot of scammers, thieves, and desperate Vennies who won't hesitate to take advantage of you if you are drunk or drug you so you never wake up. The police are corrupt and will not help you either as they get their cut from the girls.

I enjoyed my ten days in Cartagena. This is one of the hottest cities I ever visited, temperature wise. The coolest time of my whole stay was exactly when I was leaving, Monday afternoon, when there was a downpour.

Although I visited the walled city and Centro none of my 'activities' was done there.

I liked the vibe at Hollywood beach and spent most of my time there. My modus operandi was to park myself under a shade near the bar that has the huge 'Andina' ad on the roof and sipping a beer. There are a good many available ladies on the beach, pros, semi-pros and non-pros. All are available for the the gent that suits their fancies. For an elderly gentleman on a short stay pros are your best bet. But beware, many of the pros are scammers which I discovered from just talking to them. Having had over fifty years in this hobby I have acquired a sixth sense to detect scammers or bad providers. It works well in Colombia as they are easy to uncover. In destinations such as Germany FKKs scammers are more difficult to detect.

So I would sit on the beach and make eye contact with possibilities. Almost from the start I could decide whether good service would be available or not and in the majority of cases I could sense that I should avoid. After a suitable choice is made we exchange zaps and an appointment is made.

Nuevo Conquistador. This was my unfortunate choice for accomodation in Cartagena. Never again. Hot, crowded and noisy. Advice to you gents, if you can afford better pay the US $100 or more per night for good accomodation and don't be like me, I could have afforded better but thought living among average Colombians would be interesting. It was but not in a good way. This was one of the cons of my Cartagena visit. However, mongering wise it was not too bad as I was able to circumvent restrictions if any.

I quickly recognized that bringing girls to my apartment during the day would not be difficult. The place is very crowded and was extremely difficult to take the lift during the day; around that area was like a zoo and there were constant people streaming in and out of the lobby during the day especially weekends. I never ventured to bring a girl in during the night after say 9. 00 pm. My guess is that I would have been stopped by security then. So I would ask a chica to meet me outside the building at an appointed time and would monitor the situation and enter at the best time. However, again guys I am not suggesting that you do what I did, get a good Airbnb, I wish I did, at my age comfort makes a big difference.

The absolute best time at Hollywood beach is the weekend, especially Sunday afternoons. There were so many possibilities last Sunday that I regret having to leave the following day.

All that being said Cartagena is for the young monger, I would say less than 40. Not that the mature adventurer should not go but there are better venues for us. Also, even for the elderly gentleman, there is much more benefit to be derived from a long stay of a few weeks, one can acquire numbers and make out with hot chicas. There are really top beauties to be found here but unfortunately are not available for the elderly monger on a short stay. There is so much more that I can say about this city but that's it for now.

Quick thoughts on Cartagena:

It's hot as hell here. I'm used to hot summers, but even in the nights, you're sweating your balls off. Made being outside less enjoyable.

The main areas you want to visit are small and you can see pretty much everything you want in under a week. Less choice of women and prices are much higher than larger cities.

Regardless, I had a good time. Spent the first 3 days with my regular from Bogota and the next 3 days hanging with her local friend who showed me around. I probably won't be back, as this is my 6th overall trip to Colombia and I'm ready to see other countries. When I do return, it'll be Medellin to see my 3 regulars there and fly out my regular from Bogota for a weekend.

This poster is essentially the typical Cartagena experience.

- living there for long stretches accustoms you to the heat pretty quickly. Of course, don't go out and about in the middle of the day, but early mornings and early evenings, it is quite nice to do stuff.

- everything you could possibly want to do tourist wise can be done in less than a week.

- if you don't speak Spanish, the choice of girls is quite limited to downtown and maybe Tinder. Prices are high because it's a huge tourist spot. For other South Americans and. Now for Americans to come. The girls are up charging. Barranquilla is close by with much better numbers.

I was just there and have never been there before. I paid on average 250 K. Girls I met at clock tower were 300 K, girls I met anywhere else were 150-225 K. In the end, none of that mattered, because where I live it's $400 (US) for an ugly person and $500 for someone that is semi-decent looking. Shit, $80 is a steal, none of the girls were decent fucks. If they were halfway decent in bed, I would have definitely paid more.

I personally wouldn't pay more because they are better in bed, If they are good in bed, I approach it as "welcome to the circle" and let them know ill see them again before I leave, which I do. The good ones I see 3 times minimum per trip, either day time or overnight.

Repeat business is their reward.

And yea that $400 is crazy cause I be seeing them listcrawler for that price and its terrible offerings. One thing about this whole migrant crisis in NYC is I can head down to Rosevelt Ave in Queens and get some good Venezuelan cheeks for under $100. They cleared out all the Asians that were down there trying to sell cheeks. The bad side is that they have dumb asses outside recording whose going in and out and use it to try publicly shame men.

Everyone pays in some form or another. Either directly, indirectly, giving gifts, etc. The only difference is the amount being paid.

Thing about Colombia is that 84% of children are born out of wedlock and only 25% of guys pay for child support, so the Colombian guy can get away with being a real asshole if he wants to. I was at a K-pop concert in Colombia and saw the usual teens swooning over looks. At some point though, the Colombian woman hits the reality wall and culturally the women are told to go after high status guys which includes foreigners and guys with wealth. If the parents want grandchildren, and they are not wealthy themselves, they push their women towards men with money.

That civil legal system that exists in the USA and Europe which for the most part exists to take money from men and give it to women does not exist in Colombia. You have to find someone willing and kind enough to spend that money on you.

Point is that looks may matter in the 18 to 25 range but once women hit 25 in Colombia, I don't think looks matter at all. In fact, I have never heard my gal or her friends even mention it once.

The funny thing happened was a friend of mine who is 64 and average looking but successful came to Colombia with me. A stunning 31 year old friend of my gals actually came onto him and my friend could not believe it. The woman spoke three languages, had a university degree, and had an incredibly sexy voice. He was married and did not pursue it, but I was shocked. He said he did not expect it and neither did I but apparently that is the kid of men the women over 25 seem to go for.

Complex 2 part question complex 2 part answer.

I go to Cartegena when I can have the most peace. So that means I avoid every American holiday that allows certain people to have 3-day or 4-day weekends. So that knocks out Presidents Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc. I also avoid when there are major theme holidays or sports events like Halloween, Superbowl, Fathers Day, Christmas, New Years, etc. Once I rule that out then comes the price of the straight flight, usually its $200 to go and about $500 to come back. Sure, I can get a straight flight for $150 to go, and $200 to come back but it comes into who pays for those tickets and do I want to be around them on my vacation. Then you have to factor in the season, After August its rainy season so that sucks, Middle of summer is too damn hot so that sucks too.

As for the prices of the girls.

The price I pay is not really relevant because my price is pre pandemic or grandfathered in as I've known these girls a little over 5 years.

The easiest way for me to explain it is if the monger is a new face girls will overcharge. They used to throw out 600 K or 800 K but now they are throwing out $100, $200, or $300.

Girls get cheaper as time get later in the night, but who wants to take a girl at 2 am for 200 K knowing that she been out there since 9 pm and could of had 1 gringo per hour since she got to Centro.

If the girl like the gringo she will charge less.

I may pay one price but someone out there is paying less than me and someone is paying more, I just don't care anymore.

I wouldn't worry too much about the price due to everyone pays in some form or another, directly or indirectly, just know when they are trying to rip you off and adjust accordingly to what works with your budget.

The most ill pay for daytime is 200 K 1 pop, the most ill pay for overnight is 500 K, they have to show up before 10 pm and I get 2 pops before they leave, I don't care when they leave so most hang around all day. But to provide full context, these are girls I've knows for years, not girls I just met when the plane landed.

I mean something like La Isla and Fase II in Medellin or Termas Monte Carlo or 4 x4 in Rio. I mean really clubs with best girls.

I know the restaurant you posted. It's maybe two streets over from my apartment in Manga. It is a complete ripoff. 120 k for cazuela mariscos? Insane. You're paying for views of Bahia Manga. Nothing more.

I haven't had that. I had the steak, lobster, and risotto. I am usually paying for three or four when I go out so I do not keep too close of a tab on prices. The steak there was the best I have had in the city.

For actual upscale eating.

Niku for Japanese.

Peru Fusion for Japanese / Peruvian fusion food.

Quebracho is an Argentinian steakhouse.

La Girolata (authentic Italian). The head chef there is Italian himself. He talks to patrons.

Those are always really good, but expensive by Colombian standards.

For casual dining.

Origines (my favorite in the city).

Piccolo (pizza).

Pollo Tropical (chicken).

Crepes and Waffles- Colombians are nuts for this chain. Any girl you meet will be ecstatic to go here.

I take it you're talking from experience but I would think the washing up is an individual / personal thing and not related generally to girls servicing guys in El Laguito.
