There's always some idiot who thinks who can make money. North coast is dead. No tourists. Not even Russians. The last one was Danish.
Neddy.
The idiots who want to reopen Cheers are welcome and all those who brought death to the north coast are welcome because I continue to have stratospheric fun. I'm bored by those who talk to me about what Kenya was like 20 years ago or Brazil 20 years ago or Cuba 20 years ago and who cares. The places don't change much but the people change with the passing years. I smoke pipe and my faboulus Dunhill tobaccos no longer exist and yet I don't bother writing every time how much they were good but I smoke other ones and I still enjoy them. And I'm absolutely certain that if I found a can of sealed Dunhill tobacco from the 80's today it wouldn't taste the same. So long life to the death of the north coast and long live Mombasa.
It seems like you and I are having similar pre-trip experiences. I've seen that most would prefer to accompany you throughout your entire stay. I started just being up front and saying that I'm looking to meet girls that fit my type so we can spend a night together. The same girls looking for a serious relationship will likely oblige. It seems like you don't want to be tied down throughout your whole stay, which makes sense. I'd rather agree to a price and terms up front then meet a girl without discussing and then trying to ditch her after a day. The last thing I want to do during my vacation is spend one night with a girl I meet on an app and then have her ask for some ridiculous amount of money to leave.
As far as lying goes, most working girls regardless of which country you're in are crafty liars. Even if they're really into you, money is powerful in a place where its hard to come by. You have to lie, or at least omit details, to protect yourself from being a target.
I will start doing this immediately. I believe that 90% of the girls I am chatting with think I will stay with them for the whole stay. : the.
A lot of girls will play the game of trying to make you think they are a good catch. They all want a long term BF to send money or even take them out of Africa. As I have said, some, if they have an income stream won't have a fuck for money. I just offer off the bat what I want and what I will pay. Most on apps say no, but plenty come back a week or two later when needing some rent.
When I am in Kenya now I do not bother with apps anymore. I like to see in real time what I am getting. So I just hot on anything I see as I am moving around, take numbers and at some point 8/10 always come.
I like your approach. I have a heart and I can't just fuck about with people's emotions. I had a video call with one girl from the app and she was the loveliest creature I have seen in a while. She goes to church and everything else. I don't know if it's all an act or if it's real, but I felt like I was playing a dangerous game.
I may throw all these apps in the bin and do it the old school way.
Thanks for the reality check, I needed that. I don't lie, so I omit / embellish the truth. But it's tiring. I'll learn to be more direct and cut the BS.
Thanks Mombie, I will almost certainly stay longer, maybe I can also see Nairobi then. If I am correct, Nairobi has some decent massage establishments that offer full service as a norm. Mombasa has no such establishments.
I have been on Tagged for a while with location set to Mombasa and I see that 90% of the girls want a serious relationship. Zero girls have offered money for sex. Is this strange? I read in these forums that this should be a common occurrence on Tinder, which led me to believe that it would be the same on all dating apps.
I will pay a Tinder subscription the day before flying to Mombasa and see what results I get. I just don't have the energy or the patience to pretend that I care that much. Some girls have already started to be "jealous", but I am not going to lie and say that I am not seeing anyone else. I hate lying.

Ah. You hate lying? Africa is not for you then. Everybody LIES when they open their mouth. It's very simple. I consider every utterance a lie unless proven otherwise. When I lie I just omit some facts. That's not lying. It's just creative twisting the inconvenient truth. No kenchic will ever admit lying EVEN if caught red handed. In fact lying and cheating is a national sport in Kenya. Popular lies. I'm not married. I don't have kids. Or a popular twist on the coast. You fuck a women and you're introduced to her "brother" or "cousin". And the kids are of course not her own but her sisters.
Book lying 101 before you set foot on Kenyan soil. I happen to offer one on one courses for just 999.99 dollars. Including VAT. IN FACT THAT'S DIRT CHEAP. People have been scammed out of 100's of thousands of dollars.

I have no experience of Nbi massage places except from the ordinary salons in town. I never ask for extras so no idea. I did take one massuer lady back to my place once, everyone is available for some $. I get a massage almost every day in Msa at the beach but it is just massage. Maybe some in Mtwapa, or town or Bamburi offer more, I don't know.

When you are at the immigration desk they will ask how long you are staying, tell them 4 weeks or whatever. They will write in pen oftentimes on your visa stamp a time frame for that visa.
You can stay 3 months then extend 3 months by law.

I am now regretting booking my airplane ticket for only 2 weeks. I already applied for Visa with the exact arrival and leave date.
Considering they gave me a 3 months visa, I assume it doesn't matter if I buy a different return ticket and return on a later date?
No, it does not matter.
