Again, you land in SDU, you go to sexyhot and have a dupla with duda and stephany, and then take the metro to copa.

I do not know what your definition of an arm and a leg is, but Uber only charges from 20 to 30 reias for the ride between Santos Dumont and Copacabana. Surely you can afford $4-$6. But maybe the $1 or $2 is worth more than the hour you spend not doing it the easy way.

Yes. If I set up Uber in Brazil for my one holiday I take there every year, then transport from Santos Dumont would not depend on the taxi thieves based there.

Awesome reports you laid pipe like an oil line. I had a buddy who did 11 days recently. He is in the DR as an expat. He did not have your knowledge. He was not impressed by the quality of the ladies. He implied that average quality in the DR and Columbia was better. Like Ibn I had always heard that Rio was the Mecca for sex tourism. Once again Ibn you knocked reporting out of the park.

I am thinking about taking the train to the Carioca metro, and then down to Copacabana. The metro in Copa is kind of far from the beach, but taxis at Santos Dumont charge an arm snd a leg to go to Copa.

Here's a map of Centro.

I think the lessons learned are:

1. Know where Hospital Aguiar is -- to keep it simple, it is near Central train station (100 m south).

2. Have a buddy who can do first aid and get you there.

3. What are the other details? That is lapa district near our favorite centro prives.

4. Train boxing. I won't go into details but I was assaulted by a dude with the exact same kind of knife last week, but I: A) immediately took out my pocket knife which he saw, took out my taser flashlight b) started backing up in a good boxing stance, and ran away. This was in the side streets off of Metro Uruguiana.

I do believe that the media coverage of events like hamas x Israel are heightening the copy cat violence.

A Russian tourist was stabbed this Sunday morning (15), during a robbery, on Avenida Chile, in the center of Rio.

The man was walking through the area accompanied by a Ukrainian tourist when the couple was approached by a woman carrying a knife.

The Russian tourist was injured and taken to the Souza Aguiar Hospital, in the city center, by Security Guard agents. According to the Military Police, the man is not at risk.

In a statement, the Military Police reported that agents from the 5th BPM (Praça the Harmonia) arrested the woman involved in the robbery, who was recognized by the victims. She was identified as Vaniele dos Santos. G1 was unable to contact her to hear her version. The knife used in the crime was seized.

For the second time this year, I made a return, after a decade's absence, to a mongering pilgrimage destination (is "mongerage" in the Urban Dictionary? Like a spring visit to Pattaya, Thailand, my trip to Rio in late July reprised the enjoyment of my earlier exploits in this most marvelous (mongering) city. Quoting (plagiarizing?) myself from the German FKK forum, "This spring and summer work commitments and layovers allowed me to visit Pattaya, Rio de Janeiro, and Bernd's; I feel like I made sacred journeys to the Mecca, Rome, and Jerusalem of the mongering world.
